chapter 5

when I said that everyone paused and I took that opportunity to pin the demon queen to the ground and sat on top of her.

"truce," I asked.

"get off me," she said firing a spell that got redirected towards a nearby tree.

"fine if you wanna be like that I will have to use my special magic," I said as I raised my hand.

her eyes widened and she shouted," are you an idiot, you will kill us all."

she tried to stop me from summoning my "magic".

"Yuri-," I began to say.

the demon queen tried her hardest to escape from my grasp, but I wasn't letting her.

"kiss," I said as I leaned in for the kill.

by the time everyone found out what I was doing it was already too late, I was already almost an inch away from her lips.

"don't do it," the yellow-haired demon yelled.

"Athena," Nero yelled.

"no," the demon queen yelled trying to preserve her modestly.

however, at the last second, I put my hand over her mouth to prevent the kiss.

(meanwhile with the heroes) (did you forget about them?)

"hurry up, we will arrive in thirty seconds," Josh said as they ran.

"shut up cheater," one of the girls said to him.

"it was a one-time thing," he tried to explain as the group finally emerged into the clearing only to see Athena on top of the demon queen and kissing her.

"traitor," one of the guys yelled as he prepared his wand and charged.

teasing the demon queen with my ultimate skill was so fun I kinda wanted to do it again.

I removed my hand from her mouth when I suddenly heard a voice yelling "traitor."

I was about to look behind me when I felt a blunt object hitting the back of my head causing me to move forward.

my eyes widened as I had "accidentally" had my lips on the demon queen's lips. I felt another hit coming towards my head but this time I was paying attention and used vector manipulation.

however, the hit never came and I got up and turned around and was shocked to see Nero with her razer sharp claws against my classmate's neck.

"get off me lunatic," he said.

"want to hurt my master again, see if I don't kill you this time," she said as she pressed her claws against her throat, drawing blood.

"god damn, what did you hit me with, a stick," I said as I turned to the person.

"you deserve it, traitor," he said.

I looked around us and saw my classmates standing around us.

"What are y'all doing here," I asked surprised.

"shut up. how can you be with her she's evil," the ex-girlfriend of Josh said.

I looked at who talk and inspected her close.

"ain't you the girl who was getting valedictorian because you slept with your teacher," I asked.

almost immediately her face turned green and the classmates next to her were green in the face.

I looked back at the demon queen and looked her in the eye.

"That was a nice kiss, let's do it again sometime, " I told her.

the next couple of words that came out of her mouth were profanities. it got so bad the yellow-haired demon had to cover her mouth.

"Master, what should I do to him," Nero said as she pointed at my classmate.

I began to calculate the odds of them being an obstacle in my journey, and my calculations turned out that they were always going to come after me.

"cripple his leg," I told her.

she immediately broke his leg and threw him back to the rest of my classmates.

"if you guys come again, I'll cripple you," I threaten.

"But we're your classmates," one girl said.

"you guys are potential enemies waiting to stab me in the back," I told them walking back to the demon queen who was still cursing like a sailor.

"your supposed to slay the demon queen, then we can return home," a guy said.

"and I am laying the demon queen, were already married," I said as I held up my ring finger.

this time even the demon queen was shocked. I didn't notice it until I rubbed my head because of the hit.

"b--...but i r-re-," the smart girl tried to answer.

"Can you spill it already? I'm trying to touch my wife's horns again," I said as I looked at the struggling demon queen.

"I read you have to be twice as strong in order for the marriage to be arranged by the gods," she said.

"and you have to grab their horns," Nero added.

"that confirms she's a traitor, everyone let's go back and report to the king," one of the girls tried suggesting.

"yes run so I can make ou- *cough* up with the demon queen," I said as I shooed them away.

"we'll be back," Josh yelled as he carried out the boy with a broken leg.

"oh, f* off already," I yelled as I turned my attention to the demon queen.

"where were we?" I said.

"you were leaving," the yellow-haired demon said hopefully.

"That sounds like something I would do," I said before looking at the demon queen.

"oooo horns,' I said as I made to grab them.

"leave my horns alone mortal," the demon queen said backing up.

"hey I get wifey privileges, after all, you are stuck with me for a lifetime," I said proudly.

"gods just kill me," she said giving up.

"if someone wants to kill you they have to go through me," I said with fake arrogance.

she started groaning as if she actually wanted the hero's come back and dispose of her.

"well now are we going back to the castle or not," I proceeded to ask.

(meanwhile with the heroes)

"I can't believe she would break his leg like that," a guy said.

"omg are we next," some of the girls started to panic.

"I don't think so... if we were then she would have done it already," said one of the more reasonable girls.

the door opened and revealed the king sitting on his throne. the hero's made their way toward him and knelt.

"so explain what's happening to me," the king said with a hardened voice.

"the necromancer hero Athena lux has been spotted and is married to the demon queen, and she betrayed the kingdom and heroes by attacking us back," Josh took the lead.

the face of the king turned to beat red and it looked like he was going to cough out blood. however, he regained his composure and looked at the heroes.

"issue this order. put a bounty on the necromancer's head, if they bring her alive 10 platinum, and if they bring her dead 10 gold," he yelled.

(meanwhile with our MC)

while they were putting a bounty on me, I was inside the vault treasury and using their storage rings to steal all the valuables.

just as I finished ransacking the place I was teleported back to the demon queen's castle.

"did you have fun," Nero asked me as she sat next to the "Conoleth" and I sat next to the demon queen Velverosa, who is honestly really fun to hang around.

while the other countries probably saw her as a monster, I saw a girl just trying to live her best life. she didn't want to be a demon queen, the role was just pushed onto her.

of course, I summoned food for us and we had a mini feast and we went to sleep. I woke up this morning and knew something was going to happen.

I was sitting at the dinner table when I noticed paper sticking to the window so I got up to remove it.

but what I saw kinda surprised me. it was a poorly drawn photo of me with the 4000 platinum reward.

"I wonder if I can turn myself in and get the reward," I said imagining a scenario of that happening.

"not happening," I heard Nero say from behind.

"dam it," I cursed.

"why do I have a feeling you're going to try it anyways," Nero asked with narrowed eyes.

"pshhh, me? do something that dumb... can I pet your tail," I asked diverting the conversation.
