chapter 28 (short chapter)

Do you know the problem with traveling through space? your damn heart stops. when I landed on Nexus I was already near death.

the only thing that kept me alive was holding my breath. I had to place my hand over my heart and channel electricity into my hand and shock myself to revive myself.

not fun let me tell you. now I may have gotten lost and ended up in Jay's bathroom... but that was an accident, I swear.

but I looked around and saw a king and an army standing behind him, so I knew he wasn't the enemy. I looked over at the other army and noticed that they were attackers, so I did what any sane person would do.

I charged them.

I gave them the classic kick and rushed forward slashing before grabbing one by the neck.

"look up," I said.

almost immediately every head turned to look up only to see a meteor falling from the sky.

I released the guy I was choking and flicked out the AOE, and watched as it fell down.

of course, they were trying to leave... but did I say they could leave. I controlled the earth around the battlefield and trapped them under the meteor.

just to be sure I tapped my foot against the group and an earthen spear came out of it. I grabbed the spear and coated it with lighting and threw it into the meteor.

immediately a lightning bolt came from the sky both destroying the meteor and bringing them alive.

I walked to the king and put out my hand.

"they call me the necromancer," I introduced

Athena was causing her a headache whenever she went somewhere new. first at othines, where she ditched us to fulfill what she needed to do.

then at the necromancer's cave where she had us wait for days, thankfully we didn't have to worry about food since vel could just bring in mana from the air, and it'll be considered food.

the letter she gave us talked about how she was given a mission.

not even a detailed explanation or anything, just "oh I'm alive, bye".

"let's go back to the castle," vel told Nero and Conoleth.

....

"she saw me, Micheal," jay started panicking.

"saw what ma'am," he struggled to say a thing as he was getting shook faster than the speed of light.

"I told you she likes me. she's even peeping on my bath time," jay said still shaking him.
