Fields of Flowers

As Icibis and his team follows behind Conner and the knights he brought with him to the Kingdom of Havoc.

"Is this not beautiful? All the flowers and fields."

Conner points at the open flower fields that are around them.

"They are very beautiful."

"Who is growing these fields?"

Conner turns and looks at them with a smile on his face.

"Well, of course it is Lady Vita is. Sence she was little, she would come out here and work on the fields. She didn't care what others thought about a princess or what her duties were. She just wanted to feel free."

"Sounds like me and Lady Vita have things in common. I can now understand why she would reach out to help us like she is."

"Yes, that is one of the reasons Prince Icibis. The other is that she wants allies that will help her fight the empire when the time comes."

"I see, and you don't have to call me Prince Icibis, just Icibis is okay with me."

"O, I see. Forgive me for that."

"No, it is okay."

"So, how long have you guys been at work with the empire?"

"MADISON!"

"What, I am just curious."

"It is okay, Sir Reinhart."

Conner stops his horse and fully turns around.

"I think we can stop here."

"Are you sure? We have only gone like 7 miles."

"Yes, I am sure, and plus our new followers need a break from walking."

As Conner points at the four soldiers that have surrendered.

"O, I see now."

"I say they should walk until they die."

"I think you are just still mad that Icibis had to use his balance on them, to make them surrender to us."

"Do you say balance? What is that?"

Conner was curious on what Reinhart said about balance and how that is what Icibis did to stop the soldiers before he got there.

"It is a long story."

"I see. I guess you can tell me about it when we get to the kingdom."

"Yeah no problem."

As they all sit for about 30 minutes, so the four surrendered soldiers can rest and so can the horse. as they are rest Madison quit moving for a moment.

"You good Madison?"

Everyone looks at Madison as he grabs his bow from off his back and puts a finger over his mouth, to tell everyone to be quiet. As he puts an arrow on the string of his bow and in a flash turns without aiming and shots a rabbit. Conner and all the knights from the Havoc Kingdom look at each other with confusion on their faces, as the others start to laugh.

"What is so funny? Did you not see what Madison just did? I don't think even our best archer can even do that."

"Yeah, we did, but it's Madison."

"What does that mean?"

"What Reinhart is trying to say is that Madison is not a normal archer. He is more like an archer from the gods."

"Gods?"

Conner looks even more confused then he did before.

"I think using the word gods is a bit overkill."

Madison starts to walk back with the dead rabbit in his hands.

"What they mean is that I was born with the skill called, Dead Shot."

"Dead Shot? Does that mean you can't miss a shot?"

"Something like that."

Madison sits back down and puts the ribbit in his bag.

"He has a low chance of missing his shot. That is what dead shot does for him."

"But he does have other skills that help him hit all his shots."

"Rose because you want to hit on me doesn't mean you have to talk good about me like this."

Rose gives Madison a death steer, as she grabs her blade and stands up.

"O, Madison, let's play and game."

"I am good. I think Reinhart is down to play for me."

"Don't drag me into this."

Before Rose could even do anything, Conner stepped in.

"I think it is time for us to get going."

"Yes, I agree with Conner. We have stayed here long enough."

"If you say so."

"That means put the sword away, Rose."

"Fine."

Rose puts her sword away, and everyone else starts to get on the horses and starts to last couple of miles to the Kingdom of Havoc. The group goes for about another 5 miles when they can see the Kingdom from a good distance.

"Everyone, I welcome you to the Kingdom of Havoc. I hope you all are enjoying what you see."

As everyone can see all around the kingdom is a bunch of fields of beautiful flowers.

"That is so beautiful. I can't believe that there is a place on this plant that looks like this."

"I can see why now they call princess Vita the flower goddess now."

"Yes, she was given that name because of all the flowers that she has planted."

"Wait, you're saying she planted all these flowers."

Icibis and his team look at Conner with faces of curious and a little of concern.

"No, she didn't plant them all, but she is the one who started the planting."

"I see."

"We should get going. If we want to make it to the castle before sunset."

"Yes, of course."

Conner leads everyone another 2 miles to the front gate of the Kingdom of Havoc. As Icibis and his team entered Havoc, the four soldiers are taken away and will be questioned by Havoc knights. As Conner turns and looks at the team.

"I know i said it easier, but welcome to the Kingdom of Havoc."

As the four look around and can see that the kingdom has taken over thousands of other people from different kingdoms, thar have fallen to the Empire.

"So many people."

"The Empire has no heart or gives a damn about the innocent people that have nothing to do with the war."

Icibis continues to look at the people that are trying their best to make room for more to move in or just to make extra food for others.

"Conner. If you can, please take me to Princess Vita."

"Actually, this is where I stop for now. My second in command will take you to her majesty."

"I see. I guess you're going back to the front lines, then?"

"There are more people out there that need our help. So yes, I will continue to fight and save the ones that I can as a knight."

"Well, good luck to you, Conner. I hope to see you again in the future."

"I am one of the strongest in the Kingdom of Havoc. I hope I can hold my own."

As Conner heads back out the front gates, the group is greeted, but the second in command of the royal knights.

"I never thought I would ever meet a Pendragon in person."

"Seems like you know who he is, but may I ask who you are?"

Reinhart puts his hand on his sword.

"Reinhard, it is okay. I don't think this man is here to bring harm. I am guessing you are the one that Conner was talking about?"

"Yes, I am the second in command of the royal knights. My name is Tristan, Tristan Welshock."

"Wait, you're a Welshock?"

"That is what he said. Why are you acting like that."

"Because the Welshock family is the greatest Master Swordsman family that has ever existed."

"That does explain why the Kingdom of Havoc is still standing now."

"You flatter me. I have not done much but stay in the Castle for this war."

"But still, just you being here probably scares the enemy."

"You may be honored to meet a Pendragon, but it is a honor to meet a member of the Welshock family."

Icibis reaches his hand out to shack Tristan hand.

"Thanks."

Tristan shacks Icibis hand with a smile on his face.
