Chapter 5

I hop out of the cab, staring at the skyscraper Infront of me. I have never been to the Headquarters this would be my first time.

I huff out a sigh, applying motion to my feet. I reached the reception desk. A lean girl with fake brown locks had her face hidden behind a computer typing something. After a few seconds of being unnoticed I cleared my throat to grab her attention.

"Yes.....Welcome to Cassa Di lusso corporation, How may I help you?"

"Hi... I.. I'm Here to see Mr Enzo Bianchi, I don't know where his office is at."

She turned her full attention towards me. looking me up, from the hair down to my uniforms to my waist. because the desk blocked her sight of my lower body. The look she gave me was of surprised and full of contempt.

"Do you have an appointment?"

she asked disinterestedly. I can't really call this an appointment but then I can't leave here without my phone.

"Yes.. Yes I do" she scrutinized me as if reading the huge in capital letters Liar written on my face. she then clicked and scrolled through her computer to stop. she grabbed the phone putting it to her ear.

Was she calling him?, what if he says I don't have an appointment with him... This is so embarrassing.

"yes.. There's a girl here, she says she has an appointment with Mr Bianchi...." She motioned with her fingers to ask for my name.

"Her name...?"

"Bella Andrews" I spoke impishly.

"Bella Andrews.... okay I'm sending her right now".

I didn't know I was tapping on the desk out of anxiety all this time. when the small sound began echoing annoyingly I stopped and apologized simply.

"28th floor, Ask for miss Joana Perry she'll direct you to Mr Bianchi" To my surprise her expression changed to one of formality. I nodded giving out a Brief thank you while heading to the elevator.

The three minutes ride to the last floor perhaps felt like forever and the shaft suddenly came to a stop with the ding sound.

I walk out of the shaft looking side ways, to my left was a hall way leading to somewhere and to my right there was a cabin and a blonde head peeking out. It didn't require a NASA-Genius to know that she was the person I had to ask for.

I took tentative steps to the cabin. the blonde haired lady sensed my approaching steps and stood up to meet me. she was quite beautiful, her midi teal pencil skirt with white long sleeved shirt complimented her figure. Her baby blue eyes contrasted with her suntanned skin, The standard Bob cut suited her even better.

I couldn't help but release a smile of admiration towards her.

"Miss Joana Perry?'" I asked politely, where she gave me a tight smile in return.

"Miss Bella Andrews I presume,.... Mr Bianchi is with another visitor, he'll be ready for you soon Please sit down"

Not only was she beautiful but she was also polite. she was not showing any expressions I got from the receptionist at the ground floor. I bobbed my head when she pointed at the leather seats adjacent to her cabin. I went to sit down when I saw a small glass door with a metal name plate engraved CEO with capital letters.

Mr Enzo....

The door to my office flung open. A figure walked in taking slow and dangerous steps. I looked up from the papers to come face to face with the last person I expected to see today.

"What the fuck brought you here...?"I looked at the the guy about my height and age. he had dark eyes and sharp angles that seemed to bring out his good looks. But there was nothing good about him, his bloodline reeked of evil and murders.

"Is that how you receive your guests, I'm surprised you didn't copy anything from your human parents" he spoke dangerously with a low voice.

I stood up from my seat, walking around the table striding towards him.

"Get out! before I lose my cool"

"I came to warn you Lycan.. The next blood you'll shade from any of my warriors. It'll be war!!"

He spoke with so much Authority, trying to intimidate me. I would have been if I was not an Alpha myself. I scoffed towards him to show the less affect he had on me.

"Well then, tell your Black fur skunks to stay in their boundaries. whoever crosses the border to my pack will meet the same fate as the others."

he released a vicious smile looking my way.

"We shall see..."

he walked to the door pulling it open to leave before he turned to threaten me.

"You might want to start, keeping a closer eye on your parents we wouldn't wanna be orphans again would we?" He must have seen the horror on my face because he released a dark chuckle to walk out afterwards without waiting for a reply.

I recovered from my horror-stricken faze to follow him outside, how dare he threaten my parents! I wanted to punch the life out of him right this minute.

I took off after him, I found him outside the office he was still lingering at Joana's cabin.

"How da..." I stopped talking when I notice him staring at the sofa besides the cabin. I followed his line of sight to find Bella sitting uncomfortably there.

she abruptly rised to her feet when she saw me.

"Good evening sir... Miss Joana asked me to wait for you here...."

my attention went back to Dolphus, meeting my eyes he smiled devilishly back at me.

"You know,... I must admit you have a good taste when it comes to picking your employees Fenris"

He wiggled his eyebrows to indicating to Bella.

"Get out of my building, Before I make you!"

I no longer cared if Joana and Bella were around. I hated this guy with my gut and everything in it.

He turned to leave not After giving Bella one last glance and from that moment, I prayed that Bella won't be caught up in the middle of all this. Or I won't forgive myself if innocent lives have to pay the price for mine and Dolphus's War.
