The End and the beginning

It was a rainy day, as the pedestrians walked the streets and the sound of traffic echoed out, it was like any other day dull and boring.

Liam was waiting for the traffic light to turn green, he had good looking features with black hair, thick eyebrows and green eyes he had a well-built body and was about 194 cm's tall Although he was slightly pale but that went well with his look.

Our MC was looking at the item in his hands with excitement shining in his eyes. It was the first-ever full-dive virtual reality device.

It looked a lot like the device from SAO, although currently all he could see was the picture on the box containing it, on top of the said device were two games the only games that you can currently play with the device.

The first one being DVR Parkour, as its name suggests it is a simple parkour game made by the same company as the device to help people get used to using the device.

The second one being the game made by a popular company in collaboration with the original company, the game is called New World [DVR], It is an RPG game based in the medieval times, except that nothing much has been revealed about it, but the game company promised it would be like living a second life in a new world.

As someone passed by him, he finally noticed that the light had already turned green starting to walk across the street he noticed a little girl jumping on a puddle as her father beckoned her to come to the sidewalk.

Liam found this sight relaxing leaving a slight smile on his face, but that smile soon disappeared as he heard the screeching of breaks, his head snaps to the left as he noticed a truck heading straight for him at high speed, he quickly starts running to the sidewalk, but soon noticed the "puddle girl" standing in fear not knowing what to do.

As soon as Liam saw this he threw away the useless box in his hands rushing towards the girl, lifting her up and throwing her towards her father, he hadn't noticed but the box he threw aside fell in front of the father as he tried to run to save his daughter tripping him.

He was getting up desperately looking forward to his daughter as he noticed her back going towards him, as he quickly catches her.

He looks at Liam dumbfounded as he sees him with a slight smile looking him in the eyes as his eyes move somewhere to the ground, he heard Liam say "It's yours now" as he looks to the puddle girl and smiles and closes his eyes as the cargo of the truck smashes into him killing him instantly.

The father and daughter duo look down with dumb founded faces at the ground where Liam was looking at seeing the box holding the full dive VR device...

"Ughh..."

a grunt escapes Liam's mouth as he opens his eyes "wh- where am I? Am I dead?" he asks as he looks around.

"What is this place!?" Liam yelps as he notices his surroundings being far from normal as he appears to be in a cave, but not a normal cave as there are pulsating white veins on the walls and ceiling.

Liam slowly gets up as he notices another big problem...

as a loud thought resounds through his mind 'WHY AM I NAKED!!!'
