The Murder Mission

Octavia grew up with her dad who had served in the army, until he was murdered when she was only 16. He had been the one to train her how to fight and how to use guns. Now she works for a secret company taking down criminals when missions come in and some times taking private client requests when someone needs to be taken out. What will happen when she is faced with the man who had possibly played a part in her fathers murder?

Chapter 1

My foot connected with Jackson's left leg and he went down like a bag of potatoes, I just couldn't help the smile that formed on my face. He just can't win me he knows it but still gives it a good go."You okay down there J, your not hurt are you" I asked offering my hand to help him back on his feet. He looked at my hand sceptically, unsure whether to take the offered help or not. I couldn't blame him really. I can be an arse sometimes and on the odd occasion I may have gave him the impression I was going to help him up, just to let him fall to the floor again.

"Don't worry no tricks, it's a promise" I reassured him I never broke a promise and he knew that, I had proved it time and time again. Working along side Jackson was easy, we worked well together and could practically read each other like a book. I suppose working and living together for the past 7 years would help. We work for a secret company who specialise in the assassination of very dangerous criminals and rarely we will take on murder missions from very important or rich people. Of course they needed solid and very good reasons along with hard evidence for us to even consider accepting. We are known as the hitters who are tasked with taking out the requested people.

"Let's go get that drink Octavia. This break of ours isn't going to last for ever and you know it. Vincent will be calling us as soon as it hits 7-PM tomorrow" Jason stated. I nodded in reply and headed to the woman's locker room. Quickly showering, I then threw on the usual blue skinny jeans, black T and black trainers. I put my hair in it's everyday ponytail as I walked out of the locker room.

Jackson and I share an apartment that sits on the same land as the facility a 10 minute walk to and from, we are in an isolated area. Which is in the middle of nowhere surrounded by woodlands that stretch for miles. Far away from public eyes because of course if they ever knew we existed all hell would break loose. Who wants to hear a secret facility like ours even exists.

"Come on then lets go get that drink, see what kind of trouble comes our way this time. I definitely enjoyed watching that big guys wide eyes when I dropped him to the floor" I said to Jackson and laughed.
