Chapter 93: Uproar (2)

Chapter 93: Uproar (2)

~Third POV~

Mash's expression morphed into a grin using his Demon Beast to observe from afar sharing sights witnessing the sight of Tokiomi Tohsaka, Kirei, Rin, and her mother Aoi with bags in hand leaving the Tohsaka manor.

Feeling the time was approaching he stood up with Fou over his shoulder leaving the park and enjoying the city for a time. Going for an afternoon scroll concocting plans for the Holy Grail War.

Conveniently enough walking for a scroll on the other side of Fuyuki City his eyes spotted a peculiar sight. On the outskirts of the other side of the city, a rather peculiar pair walked down the road with bags in their hands.

The first was a young-looking man who looked as if he had the life drained out of him but rather out of his wallet groaning, "My… money…"

The boy who was moaning was Waver Velvet the opposite of the second person next to him. He was a tall, muscular, and very imposing man with red hair and a beard that radiated awe from his charisma Iskander known as Alexander the Great boasted, "Gahaha! Don't look so gloomy, Master. Once I've conquered the world, I will pay you back a thousand-fold!"

Mash who happened to be taking a nice stroll paused seeing the interaction between Rider and his Master with Waver groaning at his servant's actions in an annoyed tone, "Why do you want those clothes anyway?! You're a Servant that doesn't need to buy clothing!"

Rider, on the other hand, ignored Waver's words showing the shopping bags out of the poor boy's wallet, "Boy, don't you think it is a King's duty to understand the world?"

That seemed to catch Waver off guard as Rider explained himself showing off the shopping bags and Sony PlayStation consoles in a serious tone, "If I want to conquer the world properly, I have to understand how the world is. To conquer does not mean destroy. If I'm careless, my conquest might cause the hearts of people to turn against me. And what's the easiest and fastest way to do it other than to purchase goods from this era?"

However, Waver didn't buy that for a second as he accused Rider in a scandalous tone pointing his finger at him, "I bet you just wanted to collect nice-looking objects!"

Rider didn't even bother to hide his intent grinning widely being so close to his Master in a confident tone, "Ha! It seems you are getting to know me well, Master!"

Waver sighed at his Servant's overbearing laughter but soon stopped getting his attention as Rider spoke in a curious tone, "Hmm? Oh, we've got an incoming young Master."

Just as he said this Mash approached them being casual as he spoke causing Waver to spit take on his blutness in a neutral tone being friendly with them grinning, "So… you're Alexander the Great or better known as Iskander huh? And you must be his Master Waver Velvet nice to meet you both. The name's Mash Bastion Master of Caster pleasure to meet you both."

Waver took the time to process with his mouth agape as Rider laughed at Mash's genuine honesty greeting him in return, "Hahaha! Look at this young Master the Master of Caster Mash Bastion came to reveal himself! Hello to your young man I'm equally pleased to greet you as well!"

Grinning extending an arm for a handshake Mash shook Rider's hand with an equal amount of enthusiasm impressed seeing a living legend in the flesh, "Same to you Alexander the Great! Or would you prefer I call you Rider or Iskander?"

Waver finally returned to reality as they both disengaged from shaking hands as he spoke cautiously of Mash yelling in surprise, "C-Command Seals! What the heck are you doing Rider?! His the enemy!"

Mash crossed his arms with Fou perched on his shoulder and pouted lightly tilting his head asking Rider in a curious tone of his Master, "Is he always like this yelling out of his mind? If he is then you have my sympathy, Iskander."

Rider being nonchalant apologizes on his Master's behalf placing one of his hands and scratching the back of his head, "Haha… Sorry about that Master of Caster. He's a bit jumpy but a good lad at heart. But I didn't think we would meet our foes so early! But call forth your Servant that we can do battle!"

Mash for his part looks over to Waver shaking his head pitting the young man as he explains pointing at the sky being clear as day, "Sorry but I'm gonna stop you right there. Jumping the gun a bit here considering it's still daytime and secrecy at night kind of thing, right? Besides it would be a dick move if you died without enjoying playing video games, right?"

Rider blinked returning to the video games he bought using Waver's wallet he curtly agreed to Mash's proposition agreeing with his notion, "Hmm… I do need to get acquainted with what they call video games. Especially this Sonic the Hedgehog whom the people seem to love. Very well! I concede to this notion!"

Mash curtly nodded his head as his eyes turned towards Waver hiding behind Rider before giving him some pieces of advice as he turned to leave, "Piece of advice Waver Velvet. Don't let British bloodline assholes put you down and give the fucker a kick in the dick. After all, Rider accepted you so be brave in yourself. Later."

Waver was left confused as Rider grinned understanding his intent as he thought viewing Mash's backside, 'Quite the intriguing man. He seemed to have understood our personalities and relationships. Even encouraging my Master in a Holy War? Ha! The perspective lad this Master of Caster is!!'

Waver and Rider stood there before the latter broke into a hearty laugh speaking out loud, "Gahahaha! He has guts and spirit! I must have him and his Caster join my army!"

Waver on the other hand was surprised as he yelled out loud in shock at his words, "THAT'S all you have to say?! Not like how he knew our true names or information!!"

Rider merely laughed as Waver groaned at his Servant's boastful laughter. Iskander now has his sights set on Conqueror Mash's heart the hardest conquest for a conqueror like him to get. The heart of the people.

One of the Assassins hurried to the Tohsaka Villa listening to the commands of Kirei in a stoic tone with their link, 'There's no need for pointless caution. Even if you do end up in a confrontation with a Servant there's nothing to fear. Eliminate Tohsaka Tokiomi quickly.'

*Chff*

One of the Assassins stopped by the Tohsaka Villa noticing the [Bounded Field] in place as he thought to himself analyzing the situation, 'But if I move this keystone out of the way – I'm being watched. Are any Servants of other Masters out there? Hmph. They won't do anything anyway.'

Just as one of the Assassins began to reach for the keystone…

*Shukk*

*Spttch*

One of the Assassin's hands was pierced by a spear looking up above to see a man clad in golden armor with red eyes leering intently at him as if he was an insect arrogantly said, "Who gave this worm on the ground permission to raise his face?"

*Swf*

*Swf*

*Swf*

Then Archer Gilgamesh spoke looking down on Assassin angering the King of Heroes activating his Nobel Phantasm [Gate of Babylon] summoning others' Nobel Phantasm through portals looking down on Assassin in an annoyed tone, "You are not worthy to look upon me. This worm will die like a worm should – gazing at dirt."

Assassin could only gaze for a moment that he realized when Gilgamesh unleashed his [Gates of Babylon] releasing the might of his power. It was for that only moment… he fucked up.

*BOOOOM*

*HWOO*

*HWOO*

*FWOO*

Sounds of metal clashing to the ground destroying the remains of one of the Assassin personalities with the following of an explosion ending the setup that Tokiomi had planned sipping his cup of glass wine.

Everything was according to his plan… until a sound rang outside his Villa.

*THUD*

The sound of someone crashing into the formerly nice garden of the Tohsaka. A dust cloud soon formed as the weapons from Archer disappeared in a golden mana particle glow as the figure soon revealed to be Mash causing a crater to form in a spider-web crack formation at the center.

Daring to stare at Archer Gilgamesh uses [Observe] to see the strength of the strongest Servant in this Holy Grail War as the man in golden armor stared back, "You dare stare at the King in all of his magnificence, cur."

Mash soon saw a pop-up revealing the threat level of facing Archer granting him an idea of how strong he is only smiling contently getting a range of how strong these Servants are going to be.

[Gilgamesh Lv.100 King of Heroes

Description: The great half-god, half-human King of Heroes was born from the union between the King of Uruk, Lugalbanda, and goddess Rimat-Ninsun. He ruled the Sumerian city-state of Uruk, the capital city of ancient Mesopotamia in the B.C. era. He was an ultimate, transcendent being so divine as to be two-thirds god and one-third human, and no others in the world could match him.

He was the King of Heroes who possessed all things in the world, whose tale is recorded in mankind's oldest epic poem, the Epic of Gilgamesh which portrays Gilgamesh as a hero, destined to be king and achieve great feats, who is driven to meet his destiny, facing challenges together with his best friend Enkidu.]

Mash only opened his mouth showing a bow of respect to Archer daring to raise his head expressing a confident grin as he spoke, "I would [King of All Heroes] Gilgamesh. It's not something one gets to view you. And I apologize for stumbling into your treasure your world within your domain."

Gilgamesh raised an eyebrow before his eyes widened fully analyzing Mash bursting into laughter startling those who were using familiars as Gilgamesh saw his essence. He saw the essence of his Authorities and the budding Divine Spirit garbed in the flesh of his body before him making Archer laugh.

From Gilgamesh perspective before him was someone gaining a Divine Core through his efforts without relying on generations of faith or mystery that brought awe out of simple mortals. He had no relation to any Divine Spirits of the previous Age, as his Divine Core was in its infant stage always developing and improving.

What Gilgamesh saw within the essence of Mash was [The Gamer] ability [GAMER's PATH] mistaking it for a Divine Core from his perspective but not exactly wrong either. But it didn't matter as just witnessing a mortal having Authorities made him grin seeing a mere human gain abilities belonging to Gods. The mere thought made him laugh.

Tokiomi was startled by this sudden out-of-expected action of Archer laughing in joy at Mash his eyes glinted in curiosity finishing his uproar, "Hahaha… You are a unique being in my garden. I'll allow it. Truly, what a momentous occasion! A new Divine Spirit after the death of all the previous Gods and has no relation to them either!"

His words seem to catch the attention of others listening as Gilgamesh asked Mash in a curious tone eyeing him with a neutral expression, "Tell me, young one, what is your desire for the Grail?"

To his surprise, Mash answered rubbing the back of his head and acting a bit embarrassed genuinely answering with a bow of respect, "I have no desire for the Grail. If I did, I would rather earn it. I'm merely cleaning out the corruption within the Grail that's soiling your garden in your possession from the previous Holy Grail War, King Gilgamesh."

Gilgamesh paused considering his response before ultimately saying his words earning Mash's attention and expressing a confident grin, "Despite your noble intentions that would imply you taking my treasure first. If you want my treasure, then you must claim it by proving yourself worthy."

Mash grinned seeing Gilgamesh wasn't going to let him get away this easily finding someone who could entertain him as Archer summons portals activating his [Gate of Babylon] in a confident tone, "I hope you can entertain me, guest."

*Swf*

*Swf*

*Swf*

Opening many portals each containing a Noble Phantasm weapon from the beginning of history Mash grinned responding in kind in a confident tone, "If that's what it takes to get the Grail then so be it, King Gilgamesh. Authority of Greed, [My World]."

Thus, the battle between the Gamer and Archer began truly starting the declaration of the Holy Grail War.
