The Monstrous King and his sweet Evil Queen

In the mysterious realm of Kalvon, where shadows whispered tales of Kings and Queens, none were as infamous as King Jetaime. Whispers echoed through the cobblestone corridors and darkened chambers of the palace, painting a macabre portrait of a heartless sovereign scarred by the cruelty of fate. His legs, so the tales spun, were lifeless appendages, and his face, a grotesque canvas of boils. His was a visage that struck terror into the hearts of those who dared imagine it. Yet, destiny took an unforeseen turn on the eve of a grand wedding night. Princess Jaelyn, cursed and hidden away within the confines of Malavon Castle, was the unwilling pawn in a malevolent game of power. Her name, synonymous with evil, and her every step marked by the devil's touch. However, as she stepped into the grand hall to meet her monstrous groom, a man emerged before her, shattering the grotesque image painted by gossip. King Jetaime stood not as the rumored monster, but as a vision of unexpected sweetness, love, and undeniable handsomeness. The discrepancy between the tales and the reality sparked a whispered question in the minds of those who witnessed this surreal union — had she unwittingly married an imposter, or were the rumors nothing more than twisted fragments of a darker imagination? As King Jetaime and Princess Jaelyn embarked on their tumultuous journey, the chessboard of power and revenge unfolded. Locked in a dance of secrets and hidden motives, the two found themselves entangled in a love that defied the expectations set by the world. The King, who had never allowed anyone close, now placed his heart willingly in her hands. Princess Jaelyn, driven by the flames of vengeance, found an unexpected ally in the man she was supposed to despise. Together, they navigated the treacherous waters of courtly politics, facing a power struggle fueled by conspiracies that threatened to tear them apart. In the battle between love and destiny, the question lingered like an ethereal mist — was their connection a mere human maneuver or a divinely fated love? As the story unfolded, the narrative wove a tapestry of twists and turns, challenging the very essence of their existence. Could love truly conquer all things, or were some cases destined to be eternally hopeless? Two empty hearts, two lives devoid of love, collided in a dance of darkness and light. A monster king and an evil queen united to become one, their journey unfurling like a forbidden scroll. The world watched with bated breath as the saga unfolded — a tale of love, betrayal, and the relentless pursuit of a destiny that defied the predetermined life. Cover by Java graphics.

Sensitive nose

Lyn was feeling nervous and decided to take a walk alone to get some fresh air. "My lady where are you going," she heard Moesha's voice from behind. "Shh," she hushed. "Quiet, you would draw their attention," she said covering her mouth.

"My lady you are sneaking around again without any protection what if those vampires attack you like the last time?" Moesha mumbled. This was a terrible idea. The worst. She thought afraid someone might hurt the princess.

"Nothing will happen so stay put," she said to her as they managed to sneak past the guards. She didn't know where she was but was sure was within the palace so it was fine.

She was fascinated by the flowers. The wild smell of it filled her nostrils and she wanted to pick more of it. She takes steps forward without realizing it. The need to pick more flowers was overwhelming.

"My lady, I think we should go back," Moesha recoiled refusing to take part in her wild adventure that could get both of them in serious trouble.

"Shss," Lyn hushed her again as she sniffs in the air. "What happened?" Moesha asked worried about her sudden behavior.

She could sense a perfume irritating her sensitive nose and the closer she got to the scent made her sore.

"My lady, please wait. We need to head back," she whispered running after her. She could still pick up the scent and every cell in her body stands to attention. She could never forget that scent.

"Byron tell me how our special guest is doing at the Kagon." Jetaime hissed with a smile looking at Byron.

"Very fine, she seems to get adjusted quickly, the three brothers of the red flag army already paid her a visit and she reacted just as you had thought," Byron responded not so excited about the whole situation, he still wishes Jetaime will still reconsider and get her out of there. That could prevent the storm from coming.

"You mean the triplet? She is a natural-born talent. I just did her a favor to exhibit her talent, " He asked with a smirk.

"Yes, and," Byron mumbled not sure if he was to report to the king of what happened.

"And.." Jetaime asked quickly turning to look at him, he couldn't dare to hide the truth from him.

"Prince Dewey was there to see her and got into a fight with one of the brothers, " Byron reported.

"Isn't that great, that was fast. Change all the guards at the Kagon. I can't have her spies over there. And for my little stepbrother just leave him alone," Jetaime ordered then smiles.

"I need you to do another thing for me as soon as possible. I want you to go to Malavon and investigate the relationship between King Acer and the queen," Jetaime ordered making Byron wonder what he is up to.

"What! Seriously you still doubt the queen? Besides everyone already knows how the king doted on the queen what else do you want to find?" Byron questioned still confused with his new mission.

He had sworn to be by the side of the king all his life but he thought he could spend some time with his wife now that the issue of the prime minister was solved.

"What we know are just rumors and you know I don't believe in rumors, " he said.

"What do you want to find out? Did the queen do something to make you suspect her?" Byron was concerned.

"Not really, I talked about inviting King Acer to the Palace because I thought she might have missed him but her reaction got me confused. I know something is definitely wrong, there is something. my gut tells me but I don't know what it is," Jetaime said as he couldn't just ignore Lyn's attitude when he mentioned her father.

He expected her to be thrilled about the idea and since she wasn't he knew the rumours were not true.

"I see. Do you think she is planning to do you harm?" Byron asked more confused than I was.

"No. She will never harm me but her father the king would and even if she did her father might have instigated her. You should have seen how nervous she was when I talked about her father," Jetaime tried to wrap his head around it but still got nothing.

"Do you think I should question her handmaiden?" Byron mumbled.

"Of course not, I can't let her find out and she really cared about that maid. I will handle the maid you can go there as a convoy of the kingdom to know how things are going. Since your wife enjoys traveling with you. You can take her with you. Find out everything you need to find dig hard and deeper,"

Jetaime ordered and Byron nods his head. He will get to travel for many days with his wife and that was enough for him. He also knew Jetaime did it on purpose. To cover his truck and to make me enjoy my wife's company.

"What if she is truly hiding something? What if she made a path with her father before coming here?" Byron asked the same question on his mind.

"Then she will receive her punishment by staying by my side forever but I hope not because I want her to be happy beside me and miserable," Jetaime hissed shutting his eyes and taking in a deep breath.

He was in love and was afraid to admit it because he fear he will be vulnerable. "I hope so too," Byron whispered while they were interrupted by Madam Yina.

"What is it?" Jetaime asked. "The Queen is not in her chamber," Madam Yina announced nervously.

"She went back alone, where could she have gone?" Jetaime roar.

"Could they have.... no...no her maid Moesha is also missing, " Madam Yina muttered already feeling as if her head was no longer hers. She let the queen go missing twice. She is really getting old she thought.

Jetaime was not worried, he has secret guards follow her around to protect her. Lyn thought she managed to sneak past the guards but they just pretended they didn't see her.

"Have you seen the queen?" Jetaime asked one of the guards and he pointed in the direction she took. Once they arrived at the garden they run into two guards who were keeping a close watch.

"Your Highness," they bow.

"The Queen went this way," they informed while Jetaime sends the guards away except his personal guards and Byron as they follow the path quietly.
