CHAPTER 7: FEAR.
Allen quickly apologized as he went into the washroom to clean himself and apply first aid to his wounds by the time he was done, the three girls were gone "I was gonna pay for the dress, sigh.. if fate wills then we will meet again, damn it... that guy was brutal it was like he was aiming to kill me, I am going to have to ask big moss to help me look into him." and just like that he rode his bike home…
"it seems like he is the target huh, well then time to get going" and just like that the shadow became nothing but a shadow like nobody was ever there.
Allen was riding home with the bike and the road was quiet but he found it to be to quiet which unnerved him and his throbbing headache did nothing to help his situation, the only thing he was grateful for was that there were no other cars around him preventing any accidents. then there was a turn ahead, with the speed Allen was moving at he was basically committing suicide if he couldn't slow down, he tried the brakes but they failed.....
Allen quickly swerved right then left using the friction to at least slow the bike which he was successful in doing but ended up in the middle of the road and delivering himself right at the mouth of a heavy duty truck-kun, damn truck-kun was merciless and slammed both him and his bike into the forest by the road, the door of the truck opened and a fat man jumped down with a Tommy-gun and spray the waste the whole round at him, then tossed a grenade over and walked away like a bad-ass then drove off. Allen quickly kicked away the grenade, and pushed the bike off his body then ran deeper into the forest but he didn't escape the blast radius completely and was knocked out by the impact of the explosion.
With a severe headache Allen woke up and groaned, with the adrenaline rush wearing off, his brain was beginning to register the amount of pain his body was feeling, dragging himself to rest on a tree then looked at his bleeding calf he started sniffling but when he saw his still burning bike the tears he was suppressing broke out like a dam. He picked himself up as he was limping out of the forest he tried to call but he found his phone screen was damaged, but that when he heard a growling sound then he quickly scanned the forest and saw in the darkness of a bush a pair of glowing red eyes.
"Fuck you old man, do you think I'll be scared of your little tricks, you couldn't even face when I am injured. I really feel sorry for your kids for having a coward for a father" Allen started cussing without fear, even going as far to ignore his injuries and stand up. Seeing that he stood up the eyes vanished "bullshit, like I'll be scared of some tiger recordings and flashlight show" felling a sharp sting on his injured calf, he looked down to find his left leg missing.
Aaaaaagh- with a sharp scream Allen fell on his butt then he saw a huge shadow extend from behind him with a munching sound. 'gulp' Allen slowly then his head back to see a pair of red eyes looking at him but this time he saw the body that it belonged to, Allen screamed as he tried to crawl away from the red eyed monster but when he turned his back to crawl away he vomited blood and looked down at his chest as he saw a clawed hand holding his still beating heart before he could register the thought of seeing his own heart he saw it get squashed and was slapped away by a tail. Allen rolled on the floor till he slammed a tree, when he strained his neck to look he saw it crawling to him and it had a glint in its eyes that made Allen realize it was just toying with him but when it walked into the moonlight Allen saw something he would never forget even in his next life.
It looked like a gecko at first but the head had a mane like a lion with teeth like that of a shark. When it was about to show its body, it wiped it head to the left at the sound of the rustling bushes, by the time allen's gaze returned to the monster he found it had just disappeared like it was never there….
Allen looked up at the sky and saw the moon was red and that was when he remembered a legend he once heard from his father before he died "Allen, my boy, did you know that in some place when a red a moon comes out it means the beginning of a new era, and a new era brings a new chaos, and new chaos brings a new power, and finally a new power brings a new leader. So if you see a red moon make sure to always be there for your sister no matter what"
"sorry father looks like I wont be able to keep Emma safe in this so called new era"....
