CHAPTER - 22 { Hardcore Training }

Forest___

*Bam*

Nidorino used the Horn Attack on a tree, but he was unable to break it.

"Nann!"

Nidorino shouted angrily while staring at the tree, he retreated back and sprinted.

Horn Attack!

With another crash, a hole was formed on the tree because of Nidorino' Horn Attack.

*Bam*

Nidorino continued to strike at the tree until he completely broke it in between.

Looking around, there were about seven fallen trees. All of which were broken off by Nidorino.

On the lake, Gyarados looked up at the sky and opened his mouth.

An energy ball formed before his mouth, which was then shot by Gyarados in a beam.

Hyper Beam!

Gyarados was tasked by Kota, to try his best to prolong the time of Hyper Beam.

*Splash*

Around Gyarados, on the lake. Scizor ran on the water surface with extreme speed.

"Don't splash water!, " From the shore, Kota shouted while eating his meal.

"Chaa!"

Behind him, Charizard was doing squats with Onix being the weight here.

Onix curled up in a ball so Charizard could hold him.

As for Gengar, he is ordered by Kota to search for some wild fruits to eat.

"Scizorr!"

Scizor bent his upper body forward and increased the speed at which he ran.

The splashing of water was reduced as it was not something Kota wanted.

"Scizor, use your wings!, " Said Kota, Scizor nodded his head and flapped his wings.

With the help of his wings, Scizor was able to achieve even more speed.

Now no water was splashed but only a small circle wave was formed where he stepped.

"Continue to run until you reach the point where your wings are no needed while running in water!, " Said Kota, he finished his meal and turned to face Charizard.

"Come on! Faster!, " Urged Kota, he came closer and observed Charizard.

Only when Charizard quickened his pace, did Kota leave him alone.

"Where was Nidorino again?, " Muttered Kota while scratching his chin.

"Ah!, " Remembering, he headed towards the direction where he ordered Nidorino to train.

By the time Kota came to see Nidorino, multiple trees were destroyed.

'There's lots of trees here, destroying some won't matter, right?, ' Thought Kota as he watched Nidorino slam on a tree.

*Bam*

The tree broke with a single attack, Nidorino shook his head while turning to see Kota.

"You are doing great. Let's change the targets, " Said Kota, who then took Nidorino to a new spot to train.

This place was a plain with many big boulders. Kota pointed towards them and smiled at Nidorino.

"Now use Horn Attack on them, " Smiling, Kota let Nidorino come forward and train.

"Nann!"

Nidorino was feeling bitter, yet he moved his body to strike at the boulder.

Kota left Nidorino to train, he returned back to the camp and saw that Gengar brought the fruits.

These fruits were of different shapes and colors, most of which Kota had eaten.

"Good, " Said Kota. He picked an apple like fruit but pink in color and ate it.

The sweet flavor entered his mouth, the fruit was really juicy and delicious.

"Okay, your time to train, " Eating the fruit, Kota took Gengar to a separate area.

"You will be training your ghost moves, " Kota backed from Gengar and crossed his arms over his chest.

"Shadow Ball!, " Commanded Kota, Gengar immediately formed a black ball between his palms.

*Boom*

Which was then shot towards a tree, an explosion gulped the tree trunk.

"Again!, " Shouted Kota, Gengar created another black ball and shot towards the very same tree.

*Boom*

The tree bark of the area where Shadow Ball hit, was completely shattered.

"Again!, " Not satisfied, Kota ordered Gengar to continue using Shadow Ball.

Minutes later, the tree had fallen. Gengar gasped for breath while sitting on the ground.

"Already, tired?, " Said Kota, his face full of black lines. He was not happy with Gengar's affort.

"Stand up! Now!, " Kota looked seriously at Gengar, he will be training Gengar harshly.

"Genagrr!"

Gengar slowly got up, his chest still going up and down because of exhaustion.

"Shadow Ball!, " Ordered Kota, Gengar formed the black ball between his palms.

The difference was that the black ball was smaller compared to before.

*Boom*

Also, the explosion caused by that weak Shadow Ball was very small.

"Again!, " Kota watched as Gengar made even smaller Shadow Balls.

'Energy deficiency, ' Kota came to the conclusion that Gengar should lack energy.

That's the reason he was getting tired faster and the Shadow Ball was getting weaker.

"This is a problem, " Muttered Kota, Gengar fell on the ground unable to move.

Kota called him back in his pokeball, he went back to the camp.

Night was not far, Kota let the pokemons stop their training for today.

Circling around, Kota and his pokemons except Gyarados and Onix enjoyed the fire.

"Nidorino, you lack strength for now. Scizor, you need to be faster. Charizard, continue to train your physical strength. As for Gengar, you really need to increase your energy".

Kota pointed out the weakness of his pokemons, out of whom, Gengar was the most pitiful.

"Let's enjoy the night!, " Kota smiled and laid his body on the ground.

So did the other pokemons, Gyarados laid on not on ground but water.

All of them looked up in the sky filled with trillions and trillions of stars, and that silver moon.

Suddenly, with the attention of Kota and his pokemons. A shooting star was visible.

Immediately, Kota closed his eyes to make a wish.

"Starlight, star bright, first star I see tonight: I wish I may, I wish I might, have this wish I wish tonight"

When he opened his eyes, Kota saw that the shooting star had passed.

His sight then fell on his pokemons who had their eyes closed.

Seeing this, Kota was smiling brightly. A drop of tear even came from his eye which he wiped.

"A family, " Kota muttered, the pokemons then opened their eyes one after another.

Each one grinning. That night, Kota didn't sleep in the tent but together with his pokemons in the out.
