Chapter 1: The new beginning

My name is Lyria I'm 18 I just graduated high school, but I didn't know what I was going to do after highschool. Well that was until I applied this summer at my local bookstore. See I live in a small town in which we all know each other around here. It was such an amazing opportunity since I had nothing better to do with my life. I've always dreamed of becoming a writer but that dream is on hold at the moment. On the bright side I have a longtime friend in whom his name is Tifton ,he's honestly pretty cute and sweet although sometimes he can be a little brat. But the one I couldn't stop eyeing was Tifton's twin brother Rifton. He was a breath of cool air, minty fresh breath he was just so- "ehem, Lyria would you please stop drooling over my brother we're in public right now..." Tifton said with a disgusted look on his face. "Oh my dear Tifton. I know you're just jealous that no one has their eyes set on you" I responded. "Hah, says the one who had a crush on me when we were five" said Tifton with a dumb looking smirk on his face. "I DID NOT" "Did to" "did not" "did to". "What are you guys bickering on about" said a third voice. (OMG IT WAS RIFTON) Rifton had this cool type of personality going on in which I fell for, most of my time I spend it drooling over my fake romance scenarios with him. "Nothing. Just that Lyria here has a little crush on-" before Tifton said anything I panicked and shoved both my hands on to his mouth to stop him from telling his brother on how I have a crush on him. "OH UM A ... crush on V... THAT HOT NEW CELEBRITY FROM THAT ONE KPOP GROUP BTS yeah that's what it was ha.ha.ha" I can't believe I just saved myself when all on a sudden I felt something warm against my hands "AAAAAH! EEW TIFTON HOW COULD YOU. Now I have to go wash my hands" That sneaky fox Tifton had licked my hands. "Eww your hands tasted pretty salty to me-" said Tifton while sticking his tongue out at me when all of a sudden I heard a snorting sound. By the time I noticed where it came from Rifton had bursted out laughing. "OH how I'd LOVE to come to the wedding" said Rifton. I was left there shocked while Tifton faced the other way not even once glancing at me. After that event both Rifton and Tifton walked me to my house as it got dark. I said my goodbyes as I made my miserable self walk from the front door of my house to my room. My mom asked how my day went and I responded with "great, can you tell dad if he can teach me how to drive oh and tell my brother to stop clogging my toilet thank you, love you" but in reality I was in disbelief, I was distraught, heart broken even that my own crush shipped me with his own twin brother. They both are good looking I must admit but hearing those words come from Rifton was an arrow aimed towards my heart. I wasn't going to cry about it but I was just in disbelief I'm so over it. "Looks like I'm just going to play herem games all night" I said out loud to myself as I changed into my pajamas in my bathroom. After changing I did my skincare, headed straight to my bed under my bedsheets then closed my eyes and fell asleep... Just kidding I fell asleep on my tablet at four AM playing Obey me!. It is such a fun game but sleep got the best of me. That same night I had a dream in which I was walking towards the library I had applied for in my same pijamas I was currently wearing "hmm, how did I get here?" I said to myself in a low voice. As I was walking towards the door my body moved on its own when my hands pushed outward to opened the door. That was when I heard a soft single bell go off that was until I opened my eyes to find the sun ray hitting my light pink curtains. After seeing that I laid there for four minutes to hear the birds chirping then I stoop up "out of bed I go and onwards to start my new day!" I said as I did my morning stretches.
