Something New
The sun was up high in the blue sky, not one cloud insight. It was hot, unbearably hot for most. The sand was a pale gold and it stretched for miles. Nothing but hot burning desert and rippling sand. No real signs of life, as even the critters that claimed this hostile environment as home were hiding below the depths.
A figure that was wrapped in white from head to toe was running as fast as possible. They were moving so fast that it looked like they skimmed the very ground. Behind them at a short distance you could see the sand being pushed upward as something large was clearly tunneling below the dunes coming right for this individual. The Individual seemed to know it too and stopped for nothing, keeping up their speed as to not sink into the sand and slow down.
