Tuya led the way through the woods taking a different path than the men. One that would take them faster back to the temple. She was paying attention to Carter, but he was quiet walking alongside her.
She used the silent moment to feel about him. There was a lot of energy swirling around him. It also felt guarded, and she could feel Tazani. She frowned slightly. It felt like their energy was blended, and while the sense of two was there, it kind of felt like one.
