Friendship

"WOW! Demi-god god level" Rine's parent's eyes lit up as his father lifted him.

"I knew my son was special," Rine's father said, pinching his nose Rine giggled.

10 years later,15-year-old Rine was training in the courtyard as his parents watched from afar.

"What is wrong he hasn't been improving at all even his powers have just been what shall we do training with the best teachers we could find. What else!" Rine's father said, with a worried look on his parent's faces.

Meanwhile, at school "You stagnant trash" Kylo said, kicking Rine who was groaning in pain on the floor.

"Well, you're lucky because Sakurai is your childhood friend because you would be like Light maybe even worse you should be happy I'm merciful" Kylo laughed, as he stared at Rine.

"Get away from him" Light yelled, as he tried to punch Kylo who just dodged Light tried again a portal opened in front of Kylo Light's fist went through it and appeared by its side his hand had landed on his face.

"Haha, fucking idiot guys let's go" Kylo laughed, as he walked away with his group.

"Let's go Rine" Light said, extending his hands Rine took his hand as he stood up.

"You're all beaten up can't you fight back," Light said.

"Says someone who is more beaten up than me," Rine said.

"Leave that let's go home," Light said, as the two friends walked home.

"Young master again! Please let me report this to your parents" His maid said, as she saw his beaten-up body she rushed over to me.

"No, Kate! I know someone who suffers more than this and doesn't even complain so let it be" Rine said, as he walked past her.

On the day of Light's awakening,

"Light?" Rine said, as he saw Light run out of the school he pursued after him.

" Light wait up!" Rine said, Light stopped and looked back and said.

"Take care, Rine!" Light said, as he sped off Rine looked back he could see Mr. Nelly speeding towards him.

"Light I will try my best to stop them I don't know what you did but," Rine said as he put his body in the way causing Mr. Nelly to stop.

"Get out of the way kid" Mr. Nelly commanded.

"Sir, I need you my hand it's broken please help me," Light said.

"Later!" Mr. Nelly said, preparing to speed off but Rine grabbed him by his hand.

"Sir it hurts so much" Rine cried.

"Let go of me, kid!" He commanded as Rine finally let him go.

"Light I hope I helped you enough," Rine said, returning home to check the trending news.

"Light, I always knew you were strong but beating Nelly and Sakurai," Rine said.

"I hope you're ok," Rine thought.

Seven months later,

"Jake, I'm seventeen years old I hope to destroy you all," Light said.

"He somehow feels familiar," Rine thought, Light sat in front of him.

A few days later, "He hasn't even come since then I probably scared him" Jace boasted after Light walked in taking his seat without batting an eye at anyone.

"Kylo, He is sitting on your seat," Jace said, with a cheeky smile as Kylo walked over to Light.

Hey! Main character get the fuck off my seat" Kylo said, but Jake paid no attention to it.

"Didn't you hear?" He said, when Jake didn't react Kylo grabbed Jake by his shirt before suddenly letting him go

"There's a seat here," Rine said, pointing to his side and an empty seat.

"I'm Rine can I ask you something," Rine asked.

"Sure"

"What did you do to let him let you go," Rine asked.

"I have dealt with bigger cocky idiots than this " Light said in a very loud voice heard all over the classroom.

"You know you said that out loud, "Rine said in a low tone.

"I will fucking"Kylo said but was cut off by the entrance of the teacher.

"Everyone has your seats," The teacher said.

"Jake, Why weren't you in school all this time," Mrs. Mira asked.

"Family issues" Jake replied, Rine, noticed him clenching his fists as he said that.

*Screeee* The sound of change of period as everybody rushed out Kylo dragged Rine out of the group slamming him on the wall.

"Don't think because I have eased up on you these past months that I won't still crush you being all nice to that new guy" Kylo said,

before letting him go as he walked away. Rine went into the gym and walked to where Jake stood. Kylo came over to challenge Jake.

"I accept your challenge Kylo Dorian," Jake said, in a loud voice as the whole gymnasium got quiet.

"I never told him his name," Rine thought as Mrs. Mira got everyone away from the center of the gymnasium.

" I hope he can put Kylo in his place," Rine said, under his breath.

"Fight!" She said, In a flash, Kylo was on Jake with a flurry of punches Jake dodged them clumsily.

"Is it only dodging you are good at?" Kylo said as he kicked Light into a portal Light appeared in front of his punch exactly.

" You lose," Kylo said.

"It's over," Rine thought, the next moment he could see Kylo in the air with a few drops of blood on the floor.

"What!?" Rine exclaimed, he was dumbfounded like everyone in the room.

"J..Jake is the winner" She shouted, as everybody looked dumbfounded as Light walked over to where he stood before.

Everyone still stared in shock at Light who just stared into space.

"Ahem, Class is over return to your classes second years " She shouted, Rine rushed over to meet Jake.

"What did you just do," Rine asked.

"Since he used his powers and I used mine and I won" Jake replied.

"What is your power?" Rine asked.

"I can't say and don't ask me again," Rine said, as he walked away from Rine.

Rine returned to the class taking his seat beside Jake Mrs. Mira rounded up summoning Jake for an evaluation.

"I'll wait behind for you," Rine said, Jake just gave a slight nod and Rine walked over to the school gate and patiently waited for Jake while waiting a man with white hair in a black suit approached Rine.

"Young master we have waited for you in the hover car what's wrong "He asked.

"I will be going on foot just follow close behind me," Rine said, then he saw Jake from afar and waved to him. Jake met up with him and asked.

"How did he win the fight, " She thought.

"You're dismissed" She sent Light away he walked out and went over to where Rine waited.

"Where do you live? "Rine asked.

"District five" Jake replied.

"Oh, Thank God it's close to my place, "Rine said, as the two of them left.

"How did you do that can you train me," Rine asked?

"Sure, only if we train in your house" Jake replied.

"Ok, the birth of a new friendship," Rine said, extending his hands for a fist bump.

"Yes," Jake said, as they fist-bumped Jake suddenly staggered.

"What's wrong," Rine asked, with a look of concern but Jake waved it off.
