The next day, Rine prepared for school and was taken to school by his Butler. After school, Jake and Rine went over to the 'Elrod' mansion in Rine's house. It was a huge house and had a huge maze-like garden at the entrance and only authorized people could go through the maze with no end and the backyard was a huge football-sized garden."I thought you said you lived in district five " Jake asked.

"I just wanted to walk with someone it is lonely going home alone", Rine said, scratching his head in embarrassment.

They were already in front of the mansion Rine put his hand on a black canvas on the side of the gate it scanned his hand the gate opened the maze split into two they both walked through the maze a huge walkway popped up, and they walked through the maze closed together after they passed through. Jake looked around the mansion which was so huge.

Rine opened the door they walked in Jake looked around there were several pictures hung up on the wall showing different members of Rine's family looking up there was a huge mural of the great war heroes versus the defiants.

"Welcome back, young master " The maids chorused, Rine's face turned red in embarrassment as the eight maids dressed in standard maid outfits said as he entered.

"I told you guys to stop this you can get back to work," Rine said, trying to hide his embarrassment.

"Aria" Rine called the head maid, She was a dark-skinned brunette with brown eyes and beautiful brown lips and there was an aura of elegance about her, she was a true ebony beauty.

"Young master, I have prepared all you wanted and some snacks for you and your guest", Aria said.

"What did you plan" , Jake asked.

"The 'R' game I figured it will be perfect for training since it applies the principle of the artificial dungeon," Rine said, as they walked through the large walkway.

"What exactly is the principal behind it," Jake asked.

"My dad told me that it was created by a powerful Demi-god with dimensional powers. Well, in there your physical body is put into an alternate dimension, and in the game, a replica of yourself is created with your consciousness transferred into the replica. But no one knows why your physical body feels the pain, but you will feel it if you're killed there, but you will have no wounds only the pain, and you will be brought back to the normal world but with extraordinary pain. It can't work on people with high combat levels we may not notice it because the process happens as you enter the portal" Rine explained.

"What of the beasts?" Jake asked.

"They were created by the demigod that is why there are very few in the world they are extremely rare he only created a few and sold them on the universal auction," Rine said.

"That means it's super expensive," Jake said as Rine led Jake into a pure white room it was medium-sized room.

"Personal training every 15 days we fight against each other, so we are transferred to different locations of the game, and we can meet just 15 days of fighting beasts," Rine said, handing Jake a medium basic level sword he also took a medium basic level sword.

"That's the best" Jake replied, Rine opened the portal they both entered and Rine was teleported to an open space in the woods.

Rine moved around looking for some beasts he finally saw a red-eyed fox he moved sneakily wanting to kill it without much stress he moved to stab the fox.

"My first kill," Rine said, He turned back he saw two other red-eyed foxes he killed them swiftly and he saw a pack of dire wolves stepping on a twig drawing their attention they chased after him.

"Cliche" Rine said, running the fastest he could.

"Huff Huff" Rine panted, running through the forest he tripped on a rock the pack of dire wolves surrounded him he pulled out a knife and stabbed it in the throat."ARRRGH!" Rine screamed as he held his throat with sweat all over his face.

"So that's the feeling of death, but it's better than being eaten to death" Rine thought, as he waited for Jake to come back.

A few minutes later,

"ARRRGH! MY STOMACH" Jake said as he appeared in the white room he held his stomach.

"What the hell so you will feel the pain," Jake said, as held his stomach.

"What did you lose to?" Rine asked.

"I didn't even see it the next thing I knew I had appeared here," Jake said.

15 days later, it was time for their first duel and Jake had already reached mortal level II. The duel was taking place in the courtyard of Rine's family mansion.

"It's solely a training match don't do anything reckless both of you," The head butler said, handing them each a wooden sword.

"Fight!" He said, Jake, closed the distance between him and Rine in a flash who moved back in time as Jake swung the sword.

"You won't defeat me that easily," Rine said, his blue eyes glowing as he prepared for Jake's attacks in a fighting stance.

"Be prepared" Jake said, as he attacked relentlessly at Rine after blocking some attacks.

"I win," Jake said, putting the wooden sword to Rine's neck who just fell to the floor.

"You did well, but you need to use your powers better," Jake said, extending his hands to pull up Rine.

"Nice spar it won't be that easy next time," Rine said, taking his hands to stand up.

Exactly a month later, It was time for their third duel Jake won the previous two with Jake in Mortal level III Rine still in I

"I won't lose this time, " Rine said.

"Fight!" The head butler said.

Rine got into a fighting stance he was met by a barrage of Jake hits which he blocked, but they were getting stronger with every hit he was being overwhelmed.

"I can't lose three times in a row I can see it I can feel it's my chance to evolve," Rine thought, He could feel all his cell tingling, and his eyes were moving faster.

"I can see it! I see it!" Rine thought, his blue eyes darkened a little his combat level had increased.

"I can see it," Rine said, all Jake's attacks were simplified he could see the moves in slow motion as he kicked Jake back a little Jake was stunned but just smiled as they continued fighting with Rine slowly overpowering Jake with an onslaught countering all Jake's moves.

"Well, I can let him have this one," Jake thought, Slowing his movements but Rine didn't notice he continued his relentless attacks.

"I lose" Jake declared, as Rine stopped his attacks his eyes were still a darker shade of blue.

"YES! I win" Rine said, punching the air in excitement.

"Nice win you deserved it, but it will only get harder," Jake said.

"I'll be ready and this time with your full power. " Rine said.

"You noticed," Jake asked.

"Your movements suddenly slowed and my evolved eyes noticed and next time I'll make sure you won't be able to hold back" Rine replied, with a resolved look.
