chapter 2: plans for an attack

Gad pov:

It has been a few months since Solomas crowned himself king and since then he's gained more followers and has got the attention of many small nobles especially Harold longaxe who had gained public notoriety after defeating his uncle Jason Longaxe. "Today is the day Gad," Solomas said to me snapping me out of my thoughts. "For what?" I said to him thinking he's not thinking what I'm thinking. "We attack our first castle!" he said to my horror. "Solomas we aren't ready, The only reason the nobles have not been attacking us was because we didn't attack them, what do you think they are gonna do when we attack one of them!" I said to him trying to persuade him not to carry out with this out of all of his plans this was the craziest. "Gad we have enough men and with your tactics you can out maneuver, any attack that happens to us," he said to me which made me reply with "You Think I can out maneuver Harold Longaxe One of the greatest tacticians of all time." he looked at me with the most plain face I have ever saw and said "Well yes I think you can out maneuver him." This just made me sigh and say "Whatever you say, your grace," as I walk back to my tent and laid down praying for a miracle in the battles to come.
