The beginner of an adventure

"It looks that you are better, Miss Roberts. But the burn in your arm didn't disappear. I suggest surgery."

"Is ok, doctor. A scar isn't going to change my life."

"Very well!" said the doctor before looking to the block in his hand. "You had suffered a burn on must of your body, I don't know how you survive, but it was a miracle."

Esme didn't know what to say, she clenches her fists and realized that she was holding a key, so she started to cry when she remembered Klain crying when she pushed the key.

"Are you feeling any pain?" asked the doctor worried and she shook her head that no and put the hand with the key near her heart."Oh, by the way, there is a person outside that wants to talk with you!"

"Is it from my family sir?" she asked curiously. After everything, she wasn't going to get surprised if a stranger would come to talk to her, especially because of the key.

"No miss Roberts!" said the doctor after he placed the block on the end of the bed. "He said that it is the father of Klain Plinston!"

The girl widens her eyes when she heard that name, so she looked right to the eyes of the doctor o call him the fastest he could.

After the doctor closes the door, she laid down on the bed and looked up, waiting for the guy to enter.

"It looks like that Daylon's mother is behind this." said a voice from the door.

Esme sits down again and hides the key under her legs and he started to laugh.

"Don't frighten because I am going to help you!"

"How so?" asked the girl confused. "I just killed your son and how are you here?"

He didn't answer but she could see his fists tighten and bite his lips to not say anything. After some time of silence, he took a deep breath before talking about the reason he was there

"That is not important now!" he said with a louder voice, trace that he was trying to remain calm and she trembled because she knew that his kingdom was under attack.

"I'm sorry for everything. I am going to correct what I made!"

"Is ok! So, you are alive because of Helen's parents!"

"And?" asked the girl amazed and confuse. "What they have to do with this?"

One more time he didn't answer, instead of that he took out a book from under the jacket and gave it to her. She accepted the book opening it and when she read the first sentence, she felt her body getting hotter and the key appeared in front of her with numbers written in it. After that, a big flame got out of her arm and that startled her, what made Esme get up and put the hand on the burn on

her arm.

"What is the meaning of this?" she asked before fainting.

Sometime later she awoke on a huge bed, inside a white room. After getting used to the light, she looked around and saw the book and the key on the bedside table.

"Where am I?" she asked getting up and going to the window.

"You are in my house miss Helen, or should I sai miss Helen?" asked Klain father from behind her.

She looked at him and saw that he was with a military uniform, which made her confused. He laughed and straightened his jacket making her looking away.

"So. The thing is that my son didn't die, but..."

"His he ok? I hope he is, I miss him so much!"

He shouted a "Shut up" and she got her back straight scared, Esme never thought that he was a captain of a military force. He smiled after he saw the expected reaction and continued talking.

"But, he is in the form of an unknown wolf and he lost his human memories."

"For what I am understanding, he came to this world and you need my help to find him so that the war end."

"You are Tom, right?" asked him laughing. "I don't know why you did that, but I hope we can put our past behind. There are things more important than revenge.

The girl closed her eyes thinking of how she was going to find Klain in that big world until she looked to the key and book and saw an opening on the book spine, exactly like the key form and she got an idea. Remembering what she learned in school, these books can locate whatever they want if the student memorizes the huge spell that they learn one whole year.

Esme smiled, her brain memorizes everything that she leans, it was why she was so smart.

"I know!" she said picking up the book and insert the key in the hole and fit perfectly.

"What are you doing?" asked Klain's father, confused and curious "Did you memorize all the spell?"

Esme didn't answer, she sits down on the floor in knees, with the book near her heart and closed the eyes, breathing out in and out to calm down and after minutes of silences, she opened her eyes and scream:

"Give me the coordinates!"

The man didn't want to interrupt her, so he laid on the wall and waited for her to talk to him.

"Is done!" she said getting up and walk to him, her eyes were red. "I need paper to write the numbers, please.

He went to the desk at the end of the bed, beside him and took what she asked. The girl looked to the paper and after a while, she put the coordinates in it. After that, he took the paper of Esme's hand and opened the computer, looking for a map.

But, when he wrote the numbers, he fixed on the screen before looking at her and say.

"He is in Edinburg and we are in Chelmsford!"

"That's weird!" the girl said, "I saw grades like he was inside of a dungeon."

"Impossible!" said the man and then looked at her, like he just remembers something. "What if Carol, Daylon's mother, knows where he was and hide him from us?"

The girl looked at him thinking and then remembered what the lady of the hospital said.

"Everyone who can stop this war is here," Esme said out loud.

"Who said that?" asked the man curious.

"I don't know!" answered the girl "She was tall, with long red hair and blue eyes!"

The man's eyes opened widely and he grabbed her arms, scaring her.

"Is Carol and if she said that, it means that there are other people we have to find."

"And we don't know who to look for!" finished the girl panicking after that."
