The Mage with an Existential Crisis (Hololive Fanfic)[Under Rewrite]

A story of old, wherein demons, magic, and all sorts of supernatural exists. A story that told about the truth of the world, uncovering its myths and mysteries. A story of an all powerful mage searching for his purpose in the vast world, searching, for a place to call home. A story where Hololive Idols are more than just idols. +----------------+ A/N: Yahallo! I have decided to post this here as well, since its what I'm currently writing upon. As for those who have read my previous books, whichever it is. I still haven't found a single ounce of motivation or ideas in my bones to continue them for now. I'll occassionally write on the drafts, but for now. I present you my latest work, I haven't seen much Hololive fanfics around, so I decided to make one. I don't own Hololive, the idols, or anything that may came along them. I only own my OC, and probably the plot(?). For those who are wondering if this is a harem or not. Big no. I can't write harems, as simple as that. Some Idols, or hololive girls might be a bit OOC/out of character since I'm not that good to perfectly imitate how they act. Hope you guys enjoy.

3rd POV

"You... YOU SUMMON STARS?!"

Marine and Amelia looked over below only to see Enma pointing at Suisei.

"Is there something wrong with that, Fumuyoshi?"

Enma shook his head at Suisei's question but internally screamed in his mind.

'A space magicka variant?! That's new! Maybe after this fight, I can ask Suisei how she came up with it and learn a thing or two more about space magicka.'

Suisei tilted her head in confusion. In front of her, Enma's face is scrunched up and looked unsightly. She held back her laugh but she giggled in the end.

"Ah? Right, now's not the time to get distracted. Suisei, if your magicka is like what you told me it is. Then, please do what Pekora will do later and stall enough time for Marine's Prisma Cannon to charge up and fire."

Suisei nodded in all seriousness before standing beside Pekora.

Enma watched as Suisei clasped her hand and looked up at the azure blue sky. The relentless heat of the sun beating down on them was fairly refreshing.

"Now it's time to do my part," Enma muttered before taking a position in the middle of the Flying Dutches and Pekora and Suisei.

From there, Enma summoned his Grimoire at his right side. It floated silently before landing softly on his right palm.

"Now which Magicka element can I use against this big guy." He glanced to and fro from the pages of the Grimoire before stopping into one.

"I suppose this can work to seal his movements. I do wonder though."

A passing thought in Enma's mind before he made his decision. He flipped the pages once more before stopping near the back of the book.

"I just hope this one will work, after all, this is one of my strongest self-made spells. Don't disappoint me now."

Enma stretched his neck and let out a satisfied groan as it gave out a loud crack.

Enma took a deep breath as crack suddenly started to appear on the runic cage that housed Cthulhu. He smirked at it as they all simultaneously heard an enraged roar from deep within the cage.

"Don't falter now you guys, he is coming out. Pekora, Suisei! Ready your spells!"

Pekora and Suisei nodded in grim determination as more cracks started to spread around the runic cage.

Enma looked back behind him and shouted at Amelia and Marine.

"Amelia! Prepare your time bubbles to deflect any tentacles that may bypass Pekora and Suisei's barrage. And Marine! Once Flying Dutchess is done charging up. Target the heart, I'll take care of getting Ina to safety."

"My time bubbles are all set!"

"Aim for the heart? How cruel of you Enma boyo." A tick mark appeared on Enma's forehead at Marine's words.

"Just shoot the goddamn thing." Marine laughed heartily before maneuvering Flying Dutchess at an angle that will sure to hit Cthulhu's head.

"Flying Dutchess of the seas and skies, show them your might! Prisma Cannon!" Marine yelled as Flying Dutchess front deck suddenly split apart.

A gargantuan cannon slowly but surely surfaced from the ship's front deck. Amelia gaped at the size of the Prisma Cannon.

The cannon was blue in color due to it being made up of Prisma Crystals. Prisma Crystals are crystals found around Holoearth. No one is privy to their origin as even the most smartest magicians and wizards have never come in contact with such magnificent prism-like crystals.

Prisma Crystals are highly conductive to magicka essence, as such, they are a primary resource that is used to making magicka tools and weapons.

Marine's Prisma Cannon is exactly one of those magicka weapons that is made out of Prisma Crystals.

"Such a big condensation of Prisma Crystals, are you sure this is safe?"

Marine smirked in great confidence at Amelia's question but did not bother to answer her. Amelia was left scared and irritated.

Scared because news of Prisma Crystals causing big explosions are a normal occurrence if a Prisma Crystal is not handled well.

Irritated because Marine did not pay attention to her and answer such an important question.

"Acqueselia Subbravuya: Oryebavnu Guatundulia!"

Both of them suddenly stooped in their tracks as a foreign language entered their ears.

Marine's eyes widened in recognition as she ran towards the left side of the ship. She looked down and saw Enma just a few meters in front of the Flying Dutchess.

His Grimoire floated in front of him, glowing in ominous violet luminescence.

Strange symbols and words circled Enma as they slowly made a magicka circle in front of him.

"I can't understand those words. I don't I've heard of them before."

"That's because those words and symbols are unique to Enma boyo alone."

Amelia blinked from the side and gasped softly.

'Who are you really Enma?' Amelia thought to herself as stared at the back of Enma.

Their thoughts were suddenly interrupted as a shattering sound echoed in front of them. Followed by a mad-filled roar.

Cthulhu was out, and he wasn't happy.

Cthulhu's roar suddenly died down as violet magicka circles suddenly covered his entire body.

"WHAT IS THIS?!" Cthulhu questioned in his distorted voice.

"Acqueselia Subbravuya. It means Sealing One's Body."

"GRAH! Damn you!"

"Oryebavnu Guatundulia. Shackling One's Soul. In other words, you will not be able to move a single muscle for the next thirty seconds. It might not be much, but it is enough to get Ina into safety."

"Now to get Ina separate from you."

Enma once again opened his Grimoire and let it open one particular page.

"Quatulia Seht Vajni" Eerie green magicka circle appeared on Enma's palm before he pointed at where Ina is located. The heart of Cthulhu.

"It also means Separation of Heaven and Earth. Just in case you can't understand it dumb overgrown tentacle monster."

Cthulhu snarled as he felt Ina suddenly disappear from within him and appear in front of Enma's palm.

"Got you." He breathed in relief as he caught Ina and set down her, Enma wiped off the slime that clung to his body while catching Ina.

He knelt beside her and checked their pulse and it weak.

'Unconscious and her life force appears to be weak. We need to get her to a doctor quick.'

"THIRTY SECONDS ARE OFF BRAT. NOW GIVE HER BACK!"

Enma sneered at Cthulhu as it slowly brought up its tentacles.

"As I said, thirty seconds are enough. Not just for me, but also for them." Cthulhu's six pairs of eyes widened in pain.

Several huge carrot ruler swords suddenly rained down from above and pinned almost all of his tentacles.

"Ninjin No Handan: Jogi-ban!" Pekora smirked from her kneeling position.

"YOU!"

"Yes, me peko," Pekora replied smugly. Before jumping back to stand beside Enma.

"Nice work, now let's see how Suisei's magicka work."

"Comet Magicka: Starfall!" Cthulhu narrowed his eyes as nothing seemed to happen.

Enma and the others were also confused as Suisei just stood there and struck a pose.

However, one second later, Enma frowned as he felt a massive disturbance from the sky. And it was not just one.

He looked up to see and then gaped in astonishment. 'What?' He thought as several huge landmasses rained down towards Cthulhu.

Pekora and the others also noticed Enma's peculiar expression and followed suit. Next, they were doing an impersonation of Enma's face.

"Ah! Brace yourselves!" Enma noticed something amiss as Suisei ran away from her earlier position and waved at them.

"Oh my Matsuri," Enma muttered before slamming his palms on the ground once again.

This time, Enma swore to himself that he wouldn't get on Suisei's bad side if he can. Suisei reached them just in time for the huge landmasses to hit Cthulhu's body directly.

At the same time, Marine's Prisma Cannon lit up indicating that it's fully charged.

Marine nodded to Amelia as she aimed at Cthulhu.

Red time bubbles appeared at the front of the Prisma Cannon while Marine prepared the Cannon itself.

"Brace!" Enma said to Pekora and Suisei as an earth dome covered them. Followed suit by some iron sands that hardened and became a metal coating for the dome.

"Fire!"
