Chapter 105(The return of the King)

On this day, Ellie and the entire Pure Heart Clan were awaiting the king's return. This was the day that he said that he would return and everyone in the palace prepared mightily for his arrival - everyone was extremely busy with one thing or the other -- some servants held live chickens in their hands ready to slaughter, the maidens could be seen carrying baskets containing wheat, barley, fruits and clothes into the palace. Everyone was so occupied that one would think that they were trying to hold a feast for the entire people in the Pure Heart Clan. 

Ellie was ecstatic as she danced around with joy in front of her mother in their chambers. She was still putting on her nightwear and her mother, the queen had already prepared herself for her husband's return.

"Oh child, you seem so happy today." Queen Greta said with a smile on her face.
