chapter 2

I stepped into the CEO's office which was on the first floor of the company and I had to say "wow" it was twice the size of a normal office it was a mixture of white walls and brown furniture, the combination was odd but beautiful in a sense ,then there was the brown mahogany table at the middle it was placed on top a slight flight of stairs , it had the aura of someone powerful, even the man's furniture's like him , I went to go sit down at my desk which was at a corner in the office , I surveyed the office with my eyes and after having a good look at it, I got bored I had no work to do since it would take some time before the CEO gets here and I was tired as hell. I stayed up all night preparing a file for one of the company's new program, I had finished it all up at 1 in the morning and I still haven't submitted it not with my new unexpected change in jobs, my eyes darted towards the soft couch in the office it looked so alluring but I couldn't it was my boss's office and for all i knew I could get fired if caught, but what if I didn't, I hesitantly laid on the couch and in a few seconds I was asleep.

Outside the office....

Reporters were swarming around the building

" Mr Raymond " " Mr Raymond please look here " sir" "sir" " sir what are your plans for the company this year " " sir it's said you have other businesses so what do you plan to do with them" he smirked to the comment of this particular journalist but didn't say a word , the press kept on bothering him till he got inside even with his bodyguards . The company's manager come forward.

" Mr raymond welcome, sir the secretary you asked for has already been appointed " he said wondering where the said secretary was.The man replied with a " hmmm" and left towards his office. As he got in the first thing he noticed was a petite figure on his couch sleeping peacefully. He nudged his head towards her then headed towards his table and started getting to work .

I woke up flattering my eye lashes the first thing I noticed was a man on the CEO's table wait a minute Holy shit that's the CEO I rose up quickly from the couch and tried to fix my appearance I started to approach him but stopped in my tracks as I got closer to him I saw the most beautiful, darkest obsidian eyes I have ever seen ,his lashes that can make any girl jealous, his jawline was carved to perfection, his lips looked so...so kissable he looked as if the gods created him with their own hands .Then he glared at me .

" who are you" he asked, his hushy deep voice ringed in my ears .

" s ‐ s ‐sir I'm te‐ssa I'm y‐your secretary " I stuttered bearly making a sentence. He eyed me from up to down, I suddenly felt conscious about the way I looked, I had blue eyes and a sharp nose with pink puffy lips which I had applied lip gloss to , my ponytail was rough when I woke up so I parked it up In a bun, he stood up from his chair and came face to face in front of me .

" my secretary uhh " he said his tone filled with disapproval. He put his hand into his suit pocket and muttered " it seems that, that idiot really wants to get fired "I heard what he said and I knew he was obviously talking about the manager wait doesn't this mean he'd fire me too, before I could plead with him he spoke

" do you really think I need a secretary who does nothing but lies around and sleeps " he said in a low but dangerous voice .

" i‐i‐I ‐I" I tried to say something but words weren't coming out from my mouth and him being so close with his dominating aura didn't help " you know what I'm giving you two days just two days to change this lazy habit of yours and give me a good expression of you only because I know that fool has a good eye and since he chose you you might not be that worthless" he said not knowing whether he just completely insulted me by saying I'm not completely useless, he walked back to his desk but I remained rooted in the spot he left me fuck I can't believe he already thinks I'm useless even though he insulted me I still felt like it was my fault what the fuck is wrong with me I went back and sat down back on my desk.
