"No. no one. It is just that I read too much of Webnovel romantic books."

Wang Yue laughed at her joke just to take the sad emotion out of her head but when she saw Xiao Muchen too smiling and looking at her, she panicked and bit her lower lip. He moved near her and caressed her hair making her heart skip a beat.

It almost started to thump loudly after that and she knew he was hearing her heartbeat easily now. She pulled her hands into fists tightly and gulped hard looking away from him.

"But what happened after that? I mean even if he stayed there, how did they meet again?"

She tried not to shudder asking him about the love story that excited her so much even when she knew they all were in trouble somehow. Maybe it was Xiao Muchen who was by her side, making her not worry about anything anymore.

"Because Mr Smith asked her father to let him stay there to see a traditional Chinese wedding without telling anything about him so that they won't know him. Her family was happy to let her friend stay at her wedding. They were happy to have one more guest for their daughter's wedding. You know our parents…?"

Both smiled thinking about their parents.

"Yes, they love to have guests all the time. But what happened after that?"

"For the whole seven days, he stayed in front of her eyes showing her how much he loved her by being happy for her. It somehow triggered her emotions. On the day of her wedding, she finally broke down in front of him…"

Their heartbeat stopped for seconds when they imagined Mrs Smith in a traditional Chinese wedding dress. All ready in red and waiting for her groom to get her. Gradually, seeing her on her knees, crying and telling Mr Smith how much she also loved him.

"She finally confessed and told him to go back home because she knew her parents would kill him if they knew what was going on between them but he denied it and told her to be brave and accept him."

Xiao Muchen stopped speaking and took a deep breath looking back at Wang Yue.

"He asked her to let him speak to her parents and tell them but she denied saying that they won't accept. But then she asked him to elope."

"What? They ran away…"

"Yes, they ran away and got married after they went back to the States. But because of that, her father broke down badly and got a heart attack."

"What? He had a heart attack? Is he still alive?"

"Yes, he is. That day his family saved him but they decided to get her back home one day by any means. From that day onwards, I started to look for lovers. Thankfully, Mr Smith never stayed in one place after getting married."

Wang Yue felt at a loss when she heard how bad their situation was and sat back on the chair looking at the floor.

"For three years they were constantly shifting but after getting his new job they stayed in one place thinking everything was over and then they had Ai. But recently after winning a new case he came into the limelight and now Mrs Smith's family found out about her. They wanted her to come back so they just lied about her parent's illness."

"Oh, why? They were living their life. Why did Ai Ai get punished for this?"

"Sometimes you just don't have answers for your questions. Maybe some people will say it was their fate and some will say it's their karma."

"But how can they say that? I wish they could have tried to make her parents understand before running away…?"

"Do you think it was possible to make her parents understand what their feelings were for each other on the day of her wedding?"

"But they could have just…"

"Yes, if they both would have been from the States. It is easier said than done when you are from there. You know it would have been difficult for them to get together if they would have gone to her parents that day. They would have gotten her married as soon as they heard it."

Xiao Muchen retorted back but Wang Yue was adamant about her thinking.

"But if they would have gone to her groom to ask him to back off that day? Maybe he could have helped them or maybe she would have just got married to him and then asked for a divorce? Maye could have got married afterwards."

Hearing the most ridiculous thing from the smart girl's mouth Xiao Muchen started to laugh loudly even when the situation was serious. On the other hand, Wang Yue looked at him with confusion in her eyes.

"Why are you laughing like this, Xiao Muchen?"

Controlling his laugh when Xiao Muchen glanced at her, he came closer to her and sat in the chair near her.

"Do you think all these ideas are possible in real life? If a person loves someone and is going to get married to another, is it possible that he will back off? And what you said? Ask him for divorce. Not a million times, it is possible."

Xiao Muchen was confident about what he said to her but then Wang Yue's next words made him think for a second.

"But why not, Xiao Muchen? If the person you love is not in love with you, then how is it not possible to set them free?"

Wang Yue asked, staring constantly at Xiao Muchen as if she was trying to read his soul out there.

"No. This is the most painful thing for anyone in this world."

Xiao Muchen declared as a matter of fact but Wang Yue's answer annoyed him.

"But not impossible."

When she said that looking deep into his eyes, he moved closer to her and then held her hand tightly in his.

"Possible? Then mind if I ask you a question, Princess?"

He enquired and she nodded her head before tearing her gaze from him.

"Will you divorce your husband if he would love someone else even when you loved him truly?"

Her heart fell in her stomach as the past started to move in front of her eyes after his question. It hurt and it hurt really badly by thinking about her past life.

But keeping her calm she answered him back.

"Yes, I would and if required I will die for him again and again. Even if I require I will sell my soul to the devil if he will not love me back but I will set him free."
