The chase

" Screech!" " Whoosh" A giant owl flew through the sky at high speeds. It's body was covered on pure white feathers, a true work of art.

Sitting on its back we're two individuals. A young man with short silver hair who looked dazed. He had a " Smh" expression on his face as his brain tried to process certain amounts of information.

" Harrrgh, brother it's alright. Though I don't understand the source of your troubles, I can feel you are troubled. You can open up to me if you want to." Athena patted Adonis on the back with a worried expression on her face.

Adonis however, looked at her with a helpless expression, as if he was trying to say that," how can I even tell you, I can't even talk for crying out loud."

" I can read your emotions brother, but here, let's talk properly " She immediately tapped his forehead and finally he realized that he could communicate in some form, however he could only do it telepathically.

" I'm Athena, your sister" She smiled on the spot. " I don't know who or what I am. It's as if I just appeared out of nowhere." He sighed through his nostrils as he communicated with his divine sense.

" You are Adonis, God of Spacetime, Words and knowledge, my brother. That's who you are ." She had a serious look on her face as she spoke to him.

" You don't get it." He sighed once more and sat . He was once a normal college nerd who loved anime and comics. He was an average person and was destined to live an average life, however on his birthday, while watching his most favorite anime of all time, he suddenly disappeared and found himself here. And he wasn't transmigrated just anywhere. He was sent directly to the Greek pantheon, as a God of space and time. He should be happy shouldn't he? But he can't .

His little sis, his friends and everything , all left behind. He could still remember her pure smile and as he thought about her, tears began to drip from his eyes. Athena looked on but she didn't say a thing. She only patted him on the back.

" Wait!!! Sis , if I become strong enough, as a Supreme God of Spacetime, is it possible to travel in time." He looked at her expectantly.

" Maybe,maybe not. I might be possible, however, I lack prior knowledge about the dealings of such intricate concepts of the cosmos. Perhaps you'd find out when you get to such a level." She smiled back at him and said.

" Yesss!!! He smiled excitedly. All hope was not lost. It was possible to go back.

A moment later, he grabbed Athena by the arm and fiercely jumped from the back of the owl with her.

" Boom!!" The instant they jumped off the owl, countless spears manifested and pierced through its body, turning it directly into minced meat.

Athena's eyes squinted as her eyes twinkled with uncertainty and fear. She had not able to sense those spears not to talk off even seeing them. If not for Adonis sensing them at the last moment they would've been severely injured.

" Hahaha!! Quite the sharp senses there kid. " A loud laugh immediately sounded out, before a red haired man appeared, dressed in a golden armor and holding unto a large war hammer. He had a murderous look on his face, and occasionally flashed bloodthirsty smiles.

" Ares. " Athena took a deep breath and readied herself for battle. How could she not know the other person she shared her War divinity with. In fact from the moment she appeared she could immediately sense that her War divinity was incomplete and she could deduce that the only way to complete it was to either kill another God of War or to grow powerful herself, hence he was on her must kill list.

" I guess you must be Athena, the new Goddess of War. Swear allegiance to me and I'll protect you from my mother." He said while pointing his war hammer at her and smiling.

" We are no match for him. I'll distract him, run." Athena muttered to Adonis, before her body was shrouded in golden light and a golden armor covered her body. She held unto two large metal chain that looked like they were dripping with lava, while countless swords manifested from her.

Adonis on the other hand shrugged, but he didn't run. He had no idea on how to control his divinity, unlike other Gods born with innate control. However as a God he had a strong physical strength of at least a few million tons and could at least provide some sort of distraction from Ares.

" Hahaha!! A bunch of weaklings want to fight me. Well, you're entertaining, that much I can give you." Ares said with a slight chuckle, while twirling his large war hammer, which made whooshing sounds.

"Boom!!" Ares suddenly smashed his hammer unto the ground, creating a huge crater along with a large shockwave which blasted towards them.

" Shield!" With a loud war cry, and a burst of divine energy, a golden shield appeared, which blocked the concussive force of the shockwave.

With a stretched palm, dozens of swords shot towards Ares with metallic screech. Each sword seemed to contain enough force to split mountains and divide seas.

Ares however, didn't even need to block. He allowed the swords to smash into him, but no blood spilled, just metallic screeches.

Athena, using that as a distraction, immediately mobilized the chains on her hands, which flew over to Ares and entangled him, before grabbing Adonis and fleeing with him at speeds many times faster than sound.

" How crafty. However this makes it all the more interesting." Ares quickly tore apart the chains and as he saw them fleeing, he licked his lips and immediately disappeared in a flash of red light.
