Awakening

Within a sliver colored world, a young handsome man looked around curiously. This was Adonis who had just died from Ares' Divine spear of annihilation.

" I guess I died huh. And once more I've abandoned another sister I had." He sighed as he sat on the ground with tears streaming out of his sapphire blue eyes.

" Not quite young man." A feminine voice suddenly rang out for the depths of the world, alerting him for his stupor.

" Who are you?!! " He looked around in panic yet he couldn't find anyone. " I can't tell you that.. at least not yet." The voice spoke again.

" Am I dead?" He asked. " No but on the verge of" To which the voice replied.

" Adonis, God of Spacetime, words and knowledge. Do not disappoint me." The voice uttered, before disappearing. "Wait !! What do you mean by that?!!" He asked with a loud cry, but there was no response.

Instead he turned around to see four silver looking orbs staring at him . Slowly , he moved closer to one and tried touching it.

" Booomm!!" An wild energy burst out, and he disappeared. He opened his eyes only to realize that he was back in his real body being hugged by Athena and they were about to die together.

" Don't cry sis. It's fine." He muttered with a hoarse voice, while patting Athena's back. Meanwhile, Ares' Divine spear of Annihilation slowly stopped right in front of him and burst apart.

" You're back?.... You scared me so much!!" She slightly punched him as she rested on his shoulder. " Lemme take care of this sis," He winked at her and slowly stood and stretched his back lazily.

" Oi let's end this shall we?" He smiled provocatively at Ares. He had finally awakened his divine energy and just like how Athena gained ferrokinesis, psychokinesis and a whole plethora of abilities, he had also gained insight into his Heavenly Six eyes and had gained a new ability; Infinity.

" My eyes, what are they" He muttered to himself. He has finally gained the ability to talk, though not for a long time, else he might accidentally destroy the earth.

" Hyaaaaa!! Die!! Divine Spear of Annihilation!!" Boom!!!" Three huge Spears , that brimmed with pure destructive energy pierced towards Adonis like shooting stars.

" Boom!!" All three Spears came to an abrupt halt right in front of Adonis' face. They spears looked like they had been frozen in time and space to the natural eyes, but in reality they were moving through the infinite layers of space that existed between them and Adonis.

This was one of the special abilities of the infinity concept. Manifesting and bringing into reality the infinite layers of space that existed between two objects from the metaphysical plane. In a layman's terms it provided nigh inpenetrable defense. But that wasn't the only applicable use of infinity.

" This technique of yours has gotten archaic. Can't you use another??" Adonis sneered. " Shatter!!" With a low cry from him, huge amounts of divine energy seemed to gather along with countless concepts of the cosmos. Space and time seemed to freeze, as reality seemed to be on the urge of shattering.

Soon, the three Spears that carried a world annihilating power exploded, sending massive shockwaves all over. If one was observing outside the earth, it would look like the earth had been frozen in time for a second, before an explosion akin to ten massive nuclear warheads fragmenting occurred.

Ares himself was blown back hundreds of kilometers away, just from the shockwaves.

" Aarrghh, dammit, not enough control." Adonis spurted our blood from his mouth as his voice turned hoarse a bit. I guess my Word divinity can't be used as much as the other divinities. My guess is at most 5 words and then I explode along with the earth. " He chuckled to himself .

Athena's eyes were wide opened as she stared at the destruction caused by a single word from her brother. " Wait isn't the earth Gaea's domain? "Athena squinted her eyes as she stared at the level of destruction caused by her brother. A scale of destruction on this level could kill demigods and even some tier 1 and 2 true Gods if careless. And what shocked her was that he wasn't even a tier one true God, as he was just born.

" Cough cough !" Ares coughed out violently as he looked at his arm which had been violently torn off by the exploding energy.

" Hehehe, not so strong now are you" Adonis teleported right in front of Ares and said cockily. He now understood why Gojo from Jjk was so arrogant . I mean it was kinda hard to not be when you were untouchable .

" Die!!" Ares gathered strength in his left hand and threw a devastating punch forward.

" Boom!!" However it was caught in infinity and frozen in space time right in front of Adonis.

" Swords" Adonis whispered, before huge amounts of divine power burst out, manifesting thousands upon thousands of swords in the air above Ares.

" Boom!!" The ground beneath their feet exploded, before Ares was turned into a live hedgehog. When the dust cleared, Adonis was standing with his similar cocky smile and Ares' body had been torn from limb to limb.

His entire body was decapitated and covered in golden ichor as he squirmed in pain.

Adonis looked at him with those sapphire blue eyes, while Ares crawled away. He couldn't regenerate, at least not by himself as that was an ability exclusive to Elder Gods and those above.

He looked on with fear as death looked over his head, although Gods don't die, at least not the normal way. Those cold and unfeeling blue eyes scared the shit out of him, as he tried to crawl away.

Adonis didn't even bother to talk anymore. With a raise of his finger, space shattered, before turning into countless invisible yet sharp blades which swept towards Ares at terrifying speed.

Ares looked on with horror, as those blades swept towards him. He couldn't see them, but he could feel them. He thought Adonis wouldn't be decisive enough to kill him, as his mother, Hera wouldn't allow the matter to rest if he got slightly injured. Yet not only had he torn him apart from limb to limb, he was going to kill him.

In a second, those blades all smashed towards Ares, creating a huge mushroom cloud. But after the dust settled, Ares was fine, but there was a figure standing in front of him with a small smile.

" As expected of the successor of Chronos. Able to fully defeat a full fledged God like this fool right here." A beautiful lady dressed in what looked like a green robe, adorned with flowers spoke. Her entire aura was so in tune with nature, that even the Six eyes couldn't notice her when she appeared.

" I'm Gaea, your great grandmother." She said with a small smile as she walked towards Athena and Adonis.

" Gaea". Athena bowed slightly, Adonis however remained indifferent. " What brings you here." She asked looking at her.

" Well I came to stop this fool from meeting his demise." She smiled as she grabbed unto Ares' unconscious body.

" How hypocritical. When we almost died , you didn't show up, but when he's about to die you rescue him." Adonis scowled as space cracked, reflecting his emotions.

" Don't mind his ignorance Gaea. " Athena pleaded. As the Goddess of wisdom, she knew there were some they couldn't afford to offend. At least not now.

" He's not ignorant Athena. After all, he's the God of knowledge. But the thing is, here at Olympus, if you want to be valued, you have to show your worth. Weakness is the greatest sin you can commit in this world." Gaea spoke with a smile. " We'll be seeing each other real soon, successor of Chronos." She said before disappearing in a swirl of flowers.

" Why did she call me that?" Adonis' eye squinted as he stared at the place Gaea has disappeared.

" Hahahaha!" Beside the golden river of time, a silver robed man laughed excitedly.

" As expected of my successor .Able to use such an intricate concept of infinity at such a young age. He's not even a day old, literally. Not to talk of the fact that he beat that brat Ares in a few moves. " The man monologued.

" War is coming, the sands of time are shifting. My successor, I guess your training will have to be pushed forward." He added before disappearing in a flash of silver light.
