The Lion in Remnant (Warhammer 40k x RWBY)

The Lion, the first Primarch, Supreme Grand Master of the Order, was struck down by Luther, someone who he considered his brother. A psychic attack inflicted by Luther left Lion El'Jonson mortally wounded. As Lion laid on the stone cold ground of the monastery the last thing he saw was the Watchers in the Dark carrying his body to somewhere he did not know. As his eyes grew heavier with every second he fell silently into slumber. When he awoke he saw something that completely changed his entire world. Pharos Academy(Easter)

I wake up and hear the sound of birds chirping outside my window, along with the rooster, who my sisters call "The Cockler". I check my alarm clock and see it was 5:23 a.m. which was earlier than when I would wake up. I freshen up first by washing my face, putting on some clothes, and going outside to chop some firewood for later.

After chopping firewood for half an hour, I bring what I can carry back inside and help mom, who's awake by now, with preparing breakfast. Then I wake up the rest of my siblings one by one until they head down to the table. Dad comes down as well after a while and we all have breakfast together.

I've got 2 weeks before I head to Pharos academy and I am going to use it efficiently. During these 2 weeks I have been training with Crocea Mors, and the name of the weapon still garners my interest from time to time as it's translation is "Yellow Death" in Low Gothic. Perhaps the Imperium had a connection to this planet before Horus committed his rebellion.

After leaving Argus and bidding farewell to Saph and Terra, I immediately got to work on practicing with my sword and shield. I first trained with weighted wooden swords and shields to acclimate this body and get familiar with the motions. After a week I then moved onto practicing with the real thing, and often sparred with my father.

Now Father's weapon was gargantuan, almost impossible to use if you were a regular human without aura. At first glance you wouldn't even call it a sword, it was just a giant slab of steel attached to a handle. My father had named this weapon "Viscera", which when translated from Low Gothic to the common of Remnant would be "Guts".

(A/N: RIP Miura, still haven't gotten over your death.)

The more I trained the more my gene seed affected my body. In the first 2 weeks of my training I had grown to 6'5 and now weighed 275 lbs(98 kg) of pure lean muscle. I had discovered that my Imbiber, or multi-lung, had grown back while I was swimming at a lake. I had also grown back my second heart, knowing only that it had come back when I noticed that my daily calisthenics had suddenly become easier to do.

That also reminds me, my exponential growth from 6'1 to 6'5 means that my Ossmodula had also grown back. This will only ensure that my body shall grow stronger, faster, and bigger much ore quickly. At this rate of growth I will most definitely reach 7 feet tall at the end of the year.

Along with the regrowth of some of my implants, my father had allowed me to join him during his patrols of the town and has allowed me to kill a handful of Beowolves myself. He said that he would step in if it becomes to much for me, however, fortunately for me I was raised on Caliban. I had been fighting beasts much more bigger and dangerous than these Beowolves since the day my pod had opened.

It was easy so dispatch these Beowolves that my father had noticed and deemed that I would be in no danger when fighting them. Eventually he had me fight an Ursa, however once I fought it I was severely unimpressed. Sure it was strong, but it was incredibly slow and predictable that I had dispatched several of them in under 2 minutes.

My father was once again impressed with my skill that he had allowed me to hunt the Grimm that would go around town by myself. When my mother had found out about this she was vehemently against the idea often referring to me in her argument as her "Precious Baby Boy". After a day of silent treatment and a few bribes of hugs and chocolate my mother eventually came around, especially after she saw the spar between father and I.

After a few hunts and beating several stronger grimm such as a Beringal, my father decided that it was time for me to unlock my aura. When he unlocked my aura he had used a specific chant that has been in use in the Arc family for generations. "For it is in fire that we are forged. Through adversary, we are to herald victory and shield from loss. Infinite in potential and unbound from sin, I release your soul, and by my heart, burden thee." After the words were spoken an explosion of light erupted from my heart, engulfing the area in a bright pale yellow light. My father had stated that I had the largest aura of anybody that he had seen, even himself, which in itself was a massive statement as he had enough aura to be stampeded by a goliath horde and come out with only scratches.

Since I was headed to a combat school the tuition would be quite high, so in order to help with the finances I had written a book. Now at first it didn't do so well, but after a week it had gained a small following after I showed it to Kiara and Bruno. I wrote this book under the surname Lion El'Jonson, my name, and it shall be the pen name I operate under if I were to write anymore books.

My family had not known I had written this book, however Indigo found out it was me after she had used my lapscroll to find out if I had anything in my search history. Once they found out about it, they were incredibly supportive of it and had even bought and read it, despite me explaining that I could just send the manuscript to their scrolls.

Anyway, this book of mine took inspiration of my own life, it could even be called a somewhat semi-autobiography. This book was titled "Death World Caliban: The Lion", it was told in the perspective of an unnamed monk who had traveled around the dangerous world of Caliban hearing the stories and legends of a mythical figure known as "The Lion" and writing about it. It had earned me quite the sum of Lien, and my publisher had encouraged me to allow the sale of it in Vale, which I had allowed them to do.

Two weeks had gone by quickly, and I am now at the train station with my family and friends, along with a couple of other people I had known in town. They were all wishing me well, some of them with glassy eyes and tears streaming down their cheeks, especially my mother who was practically becoming a waterfall.

Some people's actions confused me, such as those of some of my female classmates who had attempted to give me folded up pieces of paper before my mother and sisters had taken it and ripped them. I am still confused as to why they did that and whenever I asked my mother would simply state 'Because they were hussies', what is a hussy?

After a few more goodbyes, hugs, and pats on the back I boarded the train and waved back as the train was laving the station. Viola, bless her soul, had ran along side the train while waving both her arms and shouting her farewell. I couldn't help but chuckle and stick my head out shouting goodbye as well.

I didn't have much to do on the train and since the ride would last 2 hours I decided that I would just sleep. I took out the sleeping mask that Tangerine had bought me and looked at briefly, it was a black sleeping mask with the illustration of the top half of a grey bunny along with a pair of ears sticking atop it. I was confused as to why Tangerine had bought it for me, but I just put it on and slept.

Suddenly I was woken up with a tap on my shoulder. I calmly raised my eye mask, only to be greeted by the sight of two girls who seemed to be around my age. On the left was a rabbit faunus, clearly indicated by the pair of bunny ears on top of her head. She was wearing a brown turtleneck and a pair of light blue jeans and a pair of brown winter boots. She was a brunette with hair reaching down to just below her waist and dark brown eyes. She seemed really nervous, hiding almost half her body behind her friend.

Almost as if the opposite of her friend she held herself with more confidence sporting a mischievous grin. She wore a mocha-colored buttoned up shirt under a black leather corset. She had brown leggings, black leather gloves, and a pair of cream-colored sneakers. She has short brown hair that reached her chin with a one wavy lock of hair at the right side of her face dyed with a gradient that transitions from her natural dark brown to a caramel color.

The confident one then asks me a question "Hey mister do you mind if me and my friend her sit next to you?"

"Coco you get your butt out of the bathroom! The train is leaving in 5 minutes and I do not want to explain to Miss Sterling that we were late because you had to put on make-up!" I had screamed at the top of my lungs as I stood in front of the station bathroom, ignoring the looks people gave me from my outburst. I wouldn't be this bold in public usually if it had not been for Coco taking this long.

Coco may have been my childhood friend, but sometimes her attitude and mannerisms can be so difficult to deal with. After a couple of seconds the bathroom door opens and she walks out. "Geez Velvet, no need to get your panties in a twist. You know perfection doesn't just come naturally to me." Coco had in her hand her suitcase and in the other a mini powder case with a mirror, along with a purse hanging from her elbow.

"Hurry up Coco! The train's about to leave come on!" I grab her hand with the mirror and drag her towards the train doors. "Hey Velvet quit it! You'll mess up my hair!" I ignore her pleas and rush towards the cart, and just as it was about to close I managed to drag both me and Coco, along with our luggage, into the cart.

I breathe a sigh of relief as Coco readjusts her corset complaining about how rough I was. Anyway, Coco and I walk towards an empty seat, only to realize a majority of the seats were already filled. We struggled to find for a seat, even going to another cart, and we finally found one. Half of the space was occupied by a tall man, even seated you could tell, who had on his face a sleeping mask in the shape of a bunny.

Coco had found it hilarious and was struggling to keep it in, while I had find it quite cute actually. Anyways as I was distracted by the bunny mask, Coco had woken him up. Since it was so sudden I instinctively hid behind Coco as she asked the man a question. "Hey mister do you mind if me and my friend her sit next to you?"
