At the moment the bright light disappeared, Chandra tried to open her eyes. She was ready to unsheathe the sword that she held in her hand. She was alert to the unknown attack of that big snake. She inhaled deeply as she found out a posture of a man was standing in front of her. The man looked so tall and well-built within the night shadow and under the moonlight. He appeared incredibly captivating and dramatic. His cloak was oscillated by the night breezes.

'Where is the snake?' Chandra felt curious as she opened her eyes wide. The strange aroma that her nose captured also disappear.

The man who was standing in front of her wore a nobleman costume with a red cloak and a green crystal necklace as she wore. The crystal green with a symbol of a dragon and a tiger was a secret identity of the Bhagavanta Kingdom and the kingdom's alliances among privileged community members. The necklace had been rewarded to royal family members as the symbol of specific capabilities, achievements, and rank of contributions.

"Who are you?" Chandra asked him as she released her tense gesture, her intuition told her to surrender her defensive posture. The man appeared the same age as she was, or perhaps he was quite a bit older than her.

He didn't answer her question, but he put a warm grin on his thin small lips. Chandra looked at him suspiciously.

"Don't you remember me, Princess Chandra?" he asked her with a soft tone. Chandra still kept staring at his beautiful hazel eyes. "Were you the snake?"

He smiled nicely again, "Why do you have tendencies to look for something that doesn't exist for you?"

Chandra shook her head calmly, "No, I am not!" she inhaled deeply as she felt sure that the man who was standing in front of her having to do with the disappearance of that big snake. "Who are you? How do you know me?"

The man took a bow in front of her, "My name is Kumara. I'm in the behold of yours!"

Chandra wrinkled her forehead. "What do you mean? How do you get that necklace?"

The man smiled, "I told you, Princess Chandra, I'm in the behold of yours. Your commands are my wishes!"

Chandra sniffed, "Rise up, please! I'm not a princess anymore!"

Kumara lifted his chin and nodded his head, "In our community, you are still a princess!"

Chandra exhaled, "I've surrendered my nobility!"

Kumara threw his mysterious smile to her, "You don't remember meeting me this morning, Princess Chandra?" he asked curiously, his beautiful hazel pair of eyes sparkling.

"Did we?" again, Kumara made her got surprised and tend to be curious about him. She sighed, being alert was a trait that she could hardly hide. 'Who's that man? I sense his power is too strong,' Chandra hesitantly brought herself backward to keep both of them in space.

Kumara walked and stopped to stand next to her. He didn't answer Chandra's question but his eyes were staring at Louis who was still sleeping and Beauty that was cowering in its place. His piercing eyes seemed so intimidating.

"Don't scare them!" Chandra held Kumara's arm as the man intended to move forward approaching both Louis and Beauty. She sighed, trying to unpuzzle the enigmatic man that she just met and felt his power. 'He reminds me of King Dragon,' she examined him slightly from her side eyes. 'Is he one of King Dragon's allies?' she inhaled deeply, 'But he's wearing the necklace that symbolized the balance of earth and sky?'

"I won't, Princess Chandra! Don't worry, I have no evil intention to you," he spoke in his heavy voice. His piercing eyes were staring at her as he smirked in an unexplainable way.

Chandra exhaled in a relieved way. "You didn't answer my question, Kumara!"

Kumara smiled at her, "May I ask for your permission to take you on a journey with me, Princess Chandra?" he asked and his eyes were so mesmerizing.

Chandra sighed and tried to control her consciousness. 'I should stay calm and listen to my intuition!' she put her eyes somewhere else. "I have a responsibility to take care of them," Chandra whispered and turned her eyes to Louis, Beauty, and the hut.

Kumara looked at her, "My mantra spells will protect them from any evils and wild animals, Princess Chandra!" He paused, staring at each Louis and the horse, Beauty, that it was still cowering in its place. Her eyes tried to avoid Kumara's eyes.

Chandra lifted her eyes in a surprised expression as she saw Kumara blow up something sparkling light bubbles from his mouth. Those light bubbles came to surround in the form of a circle and then, built up into a transparent dome above the hut, Louis and Beauty. Chandra tried to make sure with her eyes just witnessed and touched the dome. "Aww," she screamed as some electric power shocked her and tried to flow into her veins. The dome felt intangible, but it had shocking power that come from it.

Kumara hurriedly grasped her hand and touched those fingers gently. "Now, could you believe in me, Princess Chandra?" he asked her and smiled at her warmly as Chandra felt that the hand of Kumara had neutralized the shocking power on her.

Chandra drew her fingers from Kumara's hand and nodded. "I just need to make myself sure about it!" She examined her fingers and in the following seconds, she wrinkled her forehead as she gazed at the man. 'Who is he?' her mind was running deeply to explore many possible answers. 'What a creature is he?' she changed her sight to Louis and Beauty, the horse, she found the horse was fallen sleeping.

Kumara nodded his head, "I appreciate your will!"

He inhaled deeply and took a few seconds to pause. "So, could we leave now?" he asked Chandra politely. He offered his palm hand to be taken.

Chandra inhaled and looked into those eyes again. 'Could I trust him? My heart told me that he's a nice man as he said that he didn't have any evil intention! At the other side of a coin, he seems so enigmatic that it makes me skeptically alert with him!'

She looked at Kumara's face and the man was smiling at her, trying to convince her. Chandra took his hand, grasped it gently as she tried to sense his energy. Those pale fingers were cold. Chandra sniffed deeply. His pale fingers were holding back Chandra's tanned fingers. As they were holding hands, Chandra could feel that they were exchanging their energies. She felt some cold energies intensely powerful trying to infiltrate into her physical realm. At the other side, she felt that she automatically released her warm energies as her defensive shield, her energies gradually heated as they tried to infiltrate him too. She moaned as she tried to control the amount of his energy that they flew into her blood veins. She heard him groaning softly as he grasped her fingers tightly. He wiped his forehead as he felt the energy of Chandra flowing into his body. In a few minutes after, they tried to relax and release their power shield trying to sense and balance their exchanging power. Chandra tried to release her fingers, but Kumara had gripped. Afterwards, everything returned to normal, and the night become more silent. The breeze blew voiceless only leaving its chillness to human's bone. Chandra unintentionally folded her two arms as she felt colder that it felt before. 'Is it because of our energy exchange?' she exhaled deeply.

"You can close your eyes or open your eyes if you can stand it!" Kumara whispered in her ear as he grasped her waist. He was holding Chandra tightly as he snapped his fingers and a very bright light appeared in front of them.

Chandra covered her face with her arm and hid her face in Kumara's chest unintentionally as the light hit her eyes, almost making her blind temporarily. Chandra felt that the heart of Kumara was beating faster. She regulated her breath; she didn't pay any intention to it as she soaked her head into his broad chest. Chandra felt so tiny comparing her figure with Kumara's figure where she lay her head. "God, protect me!" she whispered softly. Kumara turned down his head to hear her whisper and smiled at her warmly. One of his hands was holding her head to protect her and soak her tiny figure into his cuddle.

"Don't worry, Princess Chandra, God will protect both of us!" Kumara whispered. Chandra held tightly to Kumara's shirt as she felt her body split into particles and so light as she could fly. They were traveling into quantum time and leaping into a different dimension. She almost fainted as she felt so absorbed by the energy, as she felt so weak and light. Kumara was still holding her in his arm. "What is happening to me?" she asked softly. Kumara looked at her and rubbed her back to calm her down.
