Third Year Pt.2

Madam Pomfrey took care of Hermione well. While in the infirmary, Tiberius took the time to check on Cedric Diggory and Zubeida Khan. They were in bad shape but were coming along nicely.

With Cedric gone, Tiberius took this opportunity to restructure the team. He first started by getting rid of everyone loyal to Cedric -except Jean Silver, there was hope for her yet. Next, he began to reassign people loyal to him but to positions that did not take up dueling space. With a free team that can only hold 15, six spots were taken.

After a meeting with Flitwick, The goblin professor allowed him to stack the team. He got the school standing list, and whatever student he thought would be a good fit, Flitwick would pull their portfolio, and Romilda would send an invitation.

By the end of the week. The Duel team was back up to full capacity. When Cedric arrived, he was shocked to see only Jean remained. Cedric asked why and Tiberius simply told him that Jean had enough sense to call for the alternate. He then told Cedric that even he might be getting replaced before the next tournament in America

From that point, Hermione handed out the information on Ilvermorny School of witchcraft and wizardry -the differences between magical Britain and magical America. Then Tiberius swore everyone to secrecy before taking them to the Room of Requirements. It was fully stocked with training equipment and knowledge to help in the team's progression. And when they weren't in class, they were training. Every morning the team Joined Tiberius, Hermione, Romilda, and Emma on the morning workouts.

The United States of America, December 3, 1993

The Hogwarts Duelling team landed in front of the gates of Ilvermorny. They had all come in by way of broom After using the floo to arrive at MACUSA.

Unfortunately, the wards restricted them from flying any further. The Hogwarts team was immediately greeted by the headmistress and the heads of houses and lead into the school.

It was much like Hogwarts, considering its history. They had four houses and a headmistress. And they went through a similar sorting ceremony, like the Sorting Hat at Hogwarts. The dueling match was drawn, and a Team Match was picked. Six men teams for each school. The goal was to take the other's territory. The rules were simple. If Hogwarts has one man, Ilvermorny had to get two men in Hogwarts territory and vice versa. Or the one team can try and sweep the other and win by being the last team standing. But one team captain could challenge the other at any time to single combat. The winner takes the game.

Mount Greylock was a wonderful place for this type of tournament. Hogwarts made frontal attacks and left Tiberius to protect their land. They had been practicing unit tactics for a while and wanted to try them out.

Hermione led the frontal attack. Romilda flanked, but instead of pushing through. Romilda stabbed her blade into the ground separating the Ilvermorny Team. In an all-out battle, Tiberius used the chaos to go straight for the captain. Once the Ilvermorny captain fell, the match belonged to Hogwarts. With all of Ilvermorny drawn out to the battlefield, Hogwarts then only needed one person present to take the territory. Though the same could be said for Hogwarts' situation. It was a gamble but a fun one.

Around Christmas break, Tiberius threw a party at Shafig Manor for the dueling team and some friends. Unfortunately, Harry had no guardian to sign off on his release from the school. But he didn't know it was a blessing in disguise. The Weasley twins had given him the marauders map that his father had created.

Recognizing the names on the map, he took it to Lupin, and Lupin showed Harry the map's hidden features. It not only tracked Hogwarts, but the Shrinking shack, Hogsmeade, and the Hogwarts secret passages as well -at least the ones that the original marauders mapped. It also had the location and current passwords for every common room. During that time, Lupin discovered that Pettigrew was in the castle.

When Christmas rolled around, Baken and Crookshanks left the castle with Tiberius and Hermione. And the rat they were chasing finally felt safe. Christmas morning, Lupin had called Dumbledore, Snape, McGonagall, and Madam Bones at Harry's request. When they arrived, Lupin showed them the marauders' map. And they started the hunt for Peter Pettigrew.

By the time they found Pettigrew in the form of a rat. Madam Bones' Auroras had arrived. Ron Weasley had fought to protect his rat, Scabbars. Until Pettigrew was finally hit with anti animagus charm. Revealing his human form. When the news of his capture spread, the wizarding world was shocked.

On January 1st, 1994. Sirius Black was re-tried and acquitted. Tiberius made sure that Abigail was present at the trial as his Proxy. The Weasleys were under investigation, so they had a proxy, and as Heir - Potter had a right to appoint a proxy, Nymphadora Tonks. They all had the same order, free Sirius Black. The vote was nearly unanimous.

Harry felt wronged by the Weasleys. They had troubled the waters too much. Harry asked Sirius to present a House Black marriage contract. The nastiest he could find. Harry then Inserts his name along with Ginny's, to which Ginny agreed. But when presented, It shocked Arthur and Molly.

The contract read: Ginevra Molly Prewett. Harry demanded the Prewett seat on the Wizengamot. Making him the future Lord of Prewett.

At first, they refused. But the fool Arthur never named a child, Prewett, nor had he assigned an heir to his wife's house. Therefore Ginevra was more than able to take the name and the house as the 'first' born Prewett. Tiberius then convinced Neville to have his grandmother offer a Marriage contract to Madam Bones in return for charging both Molly and Arthur Weasley. The charges didn't have to stick, and she could recant the charges at any time.

Madam Bones took a while. But gave in after the House of Black and Emrys voted to have her accept it. It was beneficial for the alliance. Once the charges were on record. Bones and Longbottom signed the contract.

Neville said it was the most expensive contract the Longbottoms have ever agreed to. Though he couldn't talk specifics. Tiberius used the alliance to see the House of Bones' copy of the contract and then paid half of the Longbottom's Dower.

Shortly after, the Weasleys signed the marriage contract between Potter and Prewett to avoid Azkaban and future problems brought about by harboring Peter Pettigrew for so many years.

After Christmas break, the school was buzzing with new rumors and conflicts. Lavender wanted to be lady Longbottom. Harry was upset with Tiberius over Cho Chang. The Weasley Family started to show an open dislike for Potter, and Ginny was disowned as the Weasley Family wanted to protect the house from Potter. Potter was accused of using dark magic, and rumors said that he enchanted sweet Luna and forced Ginny into a relationship with him.

Tiberius suggested that Snape should find a wife or name his godson Heir to the House of Prince. Which he did, Draco Malfoy was in the process of becoming Draco Prince as the House of Prince was far more prestigious than the House of Malfoy.

The duel team kept traveling and dueling, The Amazon to face Castelobruxo, Russia to face Koldovstoretz, France to face Beauxbatons, Japan to face Mahoutokoro.

The only match they lost was to Uagadou in Africa. Tiberius was seriously injured during that match. He laid in bed for three weeks with gashes and broken bones. Uagadou was extremely skilled in sorcery. Wandless and wordless magic. They freely manipulated the elements and had multiple animagus forms.

The only tie Hogwarts received was with the Amazonians in Castelobruxo. They used witches' familiars as battle partners and innate abilities that complimented their bonded partners. They, too, could freely manipulate the earth and wind element. If it had gone any other way, Castlebroxo would have been a loss as well.

Unfortunately, Hogwarts forfeited the final tournament against Ugadou and gave them 1st place in that year's dueling circuit. Tiberius knew they weren't ready to take them on again.

It was now the end of the 3rd year and exam week. And as everyone expected, Professor Lupin didn't make it. He was dismissed after it was discovered that he was a werewolf. Automatic passes for DADA. but many students did manage to conjure the Patronus charm.
