Finally most of my masteries now are adept, fighting bosses like this again should make things easier.

As I was about to leave I forgot about the boss for a moment, I haven't check yet if the boss dropped any items.

"He was tough to beat and this is all I get? well it's better than nothing."

I immediately equipped the Gauntlet on my left hand, it looks ordinary tho just a plain silver gauntlet nothing fancy like when the boss used to wear it.

I decided to go back to the guild to claim my reward for this, since continuing forward would be risky as the threats are still unknown.

before leaving I checked if the book that the receptionist gave was working, it seems like every monster was documented in this book even the boss.

I was worried, because if some adventurers decided to explore this dungeon, they might ask me why the monsters are already dead on these floor.

I was extremely tired so I didn't wanted to think about it, I wanted to go back to the guild as fast as possible, since the distance wasn't really far I was able to make it home in just a few minutes.

I was so excited to lay my back on the bed, but As I was about to reach reach for the Guild's door, Chiyo suddenly grabbed my wrist very tight, and she was looking really angry.

"Why did you leave me without saying a single word? Did you know how worried I was when I woke up you were not there anymore!" Chiyo angrily said.

"Well, I didn't want to interrupt your sleeping" I replied with a forced smile

"Not to mention, you were gone for a few days, I thought you died or something!" Said Chiyo

In my mind I was thinking that this is harder to explain than fighting that boss.

The conversation went on for at least half an hour, finally Chiyo calmed down, after I apologized a bunch of times.

"Geez, How did you even reach up at least ten floors without being detected, aren't you a swordsman or a mage or something, you never really told me your job" Chiyo asked with curiosity.

"Same trick I used, when I saved you back then. but please don't tell anyone, I really would like to keep this as my trump card. I learned it from a friend" I replied.

and without further ado Chiyo accompanied me to claim the reward, after getting the reward I decided to treat myself to a feast before resting and preparing for what next to do.

"Chiyo I'm going to an Inn to eat, would you like to come, I am also going to prepare for an adventure so this might be my last day here"

"If you're going to treat me then I'll come" She replied with a sad look on her face.

We finally made it inside the Inn, called The Drunken Hut, it was so lively inside, you can see a bunch of adventurers drinking all they want, and some are even celebrating their latest quest completion. It was very loud and rowdy but at the same time it was pleasant.

I ordered every expensive bit since I have lots of gold right now, I was able to order most of the foods and it didn't even cost me 1 gold.

I was eating like a beast, and I noticed that Chiyo doesn't look well so I asked her.

"Chiyo, are you not feeling well, why don't you eat too?" I asked with a worried expression

"I just... Can I come with you? I really want to become stronger, someone strong like you, someone who can protect something they love, you know that I am an orphan, but you didn't treat me like a nuisance, no party would accept me because I'm too weak, I know you can use magic as well, you can teach me something or anything, I will not even ask you to split up the reward." She replied with desperation.

I was thinking that If I'm gonna build my own kingdom, I need strong soldiers, lots of them, and I don't even know if I have the capability to raise a soldier so this might be a good start.

"Chiyo.... you don't have to worry we can also split up the reward 50/50, I told you that you're like my little sister, but even so I'm gonna train you really hard, because adventure might one day cost us are lives if we are weak." I replied

"Sure!, I'm gonna prepare later so we can do a quest tomorrow!" She joyously replied.

"Okay I'm Gonna rest for the day once I'm done eating." I replied.

after eating, I went to the counter to rent a room so I can call it a day, and chiyo went her separate way to prepare everything she needs.
