Chapter 28: The Sniper & Floater

Arc: Magic Championship 

Before 2 weeks while the commander Enzo had held the meeting . The Major Lloyd accompanied by his brigade was ordered to deal with the situation at the Great Temple  . 

Mr. Miles, grating the military brigade : " Welcome to all the brave soldiers of the kingdom , welcome Major Lloyd Sliven , how can I help you . " 

Lloyd: "The place is in a mess ,I was hoping to drink some tea ."

Mr. Miles: "No , I Insist , Max, bring us two cops of green tea . "

Lloyd :"I have a permit to search every corner of the temple, so if you don't mind ."

Mr. Miles :"No problem at all, I don't have anything to hide."

The soldiers began to search all around the temple for any evidence of an existence of a Redeye . One soldier called the Major to check a footprint near a tree . Lloyd touches the footprint then sniffed it .

Lloyd as he turns to Mr. Miles :"Is there with a chance a Redeye was here ?"

Mr. Miles :"Unfortunately, because of the neglect of some soldiers , some of them were able to pass the kingdoms filed .

Lloyd while he writes his report :"And was there any magic users here , I don't know, perhaps the legendary guards?"

Mr. Miles:" They were an especial guest , that's what we do here , to welcome guests to see the temple ."

Lloyd :"You soldier , take this report to the commander , use your Air sled to get there. "

The soldier :"Yes, sir."

Then the Major continued his words:" Mr. Miles, there was a fight here , there are still little amount of several different magic scattered in the air , it was a fight between powerful magic users and one ...no two royal Redeyes . "

Mr. Miles:" You are really delicate in everything , as I haired ."

Lloyd as he leaves :" I don't mean to brag ,but I spend my whole life killing those demons , that's what made me distinguish the royal Redeyes from the normal Redeyes ." 

Mr. Miles screams :"Major Lloyd, believe what your father has believed in , trust them , they are the kingdom's hope ." 

Lloyd , looks behind :" I don't believe what I cannot see in action . "

( Lloyd Sliven , a young man with a brown hair and newly assigned as a Military  Major . He lost his parents in the separation tragedy . The commander raised him then took him to the army . He has a unique magic called Acceleration magic . )

At the present time and after little far from Marseal . The team has arrived to the Battle land , where villagers living peacefully and where the championship will be held . This popular  event as most magic users carouse the kingdom gather to compete against each other to win the trophy and get a huge amount of money , food stalls , booths, stationery ,the kingdom's flag around and most importantly , the magic creatures walking freely in the festival . 

Ayami walking excitedly : " I thought my concerts can only get that kind of crowd. "

Zeke :"It is an important event , 16 teams compete in a different coemptions and games , the team that wins more games wins the whole championship ." 

Marissa :"Zeke !, you have a great background of it ."

Zeke :"I was planning to come here and perform a play ."

Tom :"Jason, do you smell what I'm smelling ?"

Jason :"Yes!"

Tom and Jason with a sparkle eye :"FOOD!"

Greed :"Enough of  this  you two were  nagging all the way here."

Then his stomach gurgle  loudly out of hunger .

Jason :"You were saying ."

Greed :"Shut up !"

Objecting their discussion a conflict at the games registration booth .

"What was that again  ?!"

A man at the registration :"I'm saying that you cannot participate in the games , you need at least seven members to join."

"And I'm telling you we both would be more than enough to face all the competitors , we're both from the legendary guards."

The man laughs :"hahaha!...you two kids are from the legendary guards , every child like you says that , now pop off. "

Lasto , pulls her brother :"Let's go Farsto ."

Farsto:" I'll be a fool If I didn't say a thing to that jerk ."

The man :"You have until tomorrow morning to sign in . Few spots left ."

Lasto frustrated :"Oh!...Lasto wanted the price so badly ."

Farsto :"Gosh!. How can we find the other 5 members in one day ?"

Master :"So, it wasn't just one who claim being a guard."

Jason, as he marches towards Farsto :"We should figure that out then ."

Jason pass by Farsto to sense his magic and at that moment he senses a powerful magic as he stares directly into Farsto's eyes and they both sent each others magic aura . 

Farsto with himself :"What!...what kind of force was that , though I just felt it in a second."

Jason with himself and smiles :" It is him ...he has it ."

They both looked at each other in the middle of the passing crowds when suddenly Farsto grabs his sister's hands and run . 

Farsto , runs with his sister :"Lasto , lets get out of here ."

Jason runs after them :"Wait , don't run."

Tom :"What happened ?"

Master :"After them ."

So then the team had separated into group of two in order to look for the two magic users  . Marissa and Ayami,  Nichole and Jason , Zeke and Tom , Christine with Greed. 

Farsto as he pickup's his breath and hiding behind a track :"Did we lose him .....good for us right Lasto .. .Lasto!...Lasto! , where are you , Great ."

Greed and Christine were looking under the booths , but with no advantage . 

Greed :"That Lizard, ruins everything ."

Christine :" People get suspicious when we run like this, we need to act normal ."

Greed grabs Christine's hands and went under  the booths table :"Shush!"

The two raised the table's mat to peak carefully , as they notice a bunch of soldiers passing by them and one of them was the sergeant Signe  who they had met him  at the Holy City Station . 

Greed :"From all the soldiers , why it has to be him ?"

At the same time Jason and Nichole were searching behind the tracks when Zeke and Tom joined .

Tom :"They aren't near the hoot air balloons ."

Jason :"There is no sign of them anywhere."

Zeke :"Without your foolish action , non of  us would've run like that and cause more trouble."

Jason :"I wanted to sense his aura."

Zeke :"He will notice yours too."

" Sense, whose aura?!" Lasto said while she was floating on her pink rubber ball in the air .
