Chapter 21: The Tendons Owner

Arc: The Temple 

" Oh , I haven't enjoyed It yet . " Says a young man with an olive haired boy with an orange eyes , wearing a green hair band . 

He comes down from the tree and greats them : " Yao!" 

Mirissa , as she pickes up her breath : " You're fast "

Nichole : " Ayami , stop moving please ."

Ayami: " I'm fine , It's just a simple skratch ."

Dr.Marcus : " Jason , use your flames to heal her ."

Jason:" " It's easy for you to say , cause I don't  know how  that flame came out. "

Dr. Marcus : " Keep a short distance between your hand and the wound  and feel your desir to heal it . "

Jason follows the doctor's instructions and a faint flame rises and slowly healed the wound . 

Jason: "Let me heal your wound."

Greed, surprised:"Alright."

Nichole and Tom with themselves:"He just wants to do it again ."

Christine was trying to get rid of the flames on the Tantto by rolling it over the dirt, however , the fire ignites more whenever she suppression it   :"Come on already ..."

Ayami creates a water ball and release it towards her in order to suppress the flames . 

Christine : Thanks !"

"No wonder you didn't scream out of pain , you're wearing gloves ."

Christine :"The truth is , It wasn't that hot  ,  and who are you?"

Greed: "And where are the two old men ?"

Max calls  :" They are back here ."

Behind the temple , the two old men were hiding , away from the fight . 

Marissa with a scary atmosphere around her:" YOU OLD DEVILS ....What you two are doing ?..There was a battle and you're playing chess here ?"

Master Valko:"Actually,, we didn't want to interfere in the fight , we were sure you will beat them."

"Hello Mr. Mails , do you remember me ?"

Mr.Mails: "No , not really ."

"Oh, this is kind a cruel , I'm Zeke Lie , I'm here to bring this weapon back ."

Greed, pointing at Zeke's forehead : "Why you are having this strong weapon  , It isn't something you can take easily and use it Professionally ."

Zeke, as he removes Greed's hand :" I borrowed it for my puppet show and to improve my magic skills  , It is a short glove with a small pulley attached with strings , I can launch the strings far away which made it  easy to use . "

Master Valko:"He doesn't know what kind of weapon this is ?!"

Mr. Mailes:"Why do you want to return it then?"

Zeke : "Why !....there is a ghost living in it , I keep dreaming things , and the ghost asks me about the reason , why am I using It for , I told him that I want to make a huge puppet theater and use those ugly creatures as my dolls ."

Zeke continues , showing his foot  :"Yes , this weird green  弦 Gen ( means string is Japanese) tattoo appeared on my leg ." 

Jason , as he shows his tattoo with Christine , Greed and Ayami: "You mean like this. "

Master :"You are a guard , Mr Lie."

Zeke: "You must be mistaken ...I am not..."

Ayami: "It is the truth , we can sense your area ...the tattoo is a proof that you've done the contract."

Zeke:"Ummm, okay that does make sense ."

Jason with himself:" He accepts it that fast?!!"

One of the workers comes running:"Mr Mails , the Royal Army are in the way here."

Master:"Let's move from here now , quikly ."

30 minutes before , At the Diamond City , the capital of Alanazia kingdom  , at the main army trining headquarters. Lieutenant Colonel Lucas Martinez was training his regiment, but he was interrupted by one of the soldiers .

Note: A regiment is an army group of 1,000 to 3,000 soldiers.

The soldier , whispered to him: "We have identified the location of two royal dynasty Redeyes ."

LC Lucas: "What?! .....how did they penetrate the ditch's filed?!"  

The soldier:"We don't know yet, the supreme commander sends Major Lloyd to the location ."

LC Lucas to himself:"As you said Lloyd , this day will inevitably come and the witchcraft will end up completely. "

At the same time in the lands of Linyu where most of the lands were devastated,  chaos and debris in the place because the Redeyes invasion there . The search team, which was distributed to find any trace of the Redeyes , after a conflict between them and the army to regain the land. 

Lieutenant Reino , talking to his leader who is also his sister:"Damn those creatures and the explosion  collar ."

First Lieutenant Liisa: "That's makes it  harder to capture them , they blow up themselves once they feel fear . What bothers me the most is that there wasn't that much number of Redeyes around ."

Lieutenant Reino:"It is strange."

Liisa: "After all these years, we know nothing about them except that a diamond bullet can deter them ."

Reino:" If only we were able to restore the other whole Diamond city ."

At the Temple , where our friends were preparing to leave . 

Mr. Mailes:"It was a great chance to meet you here Mr. Valko."

Master:"I'm happy to see you too . let's meet again soon."

Mr. Mailes, calls :"Hey you two, I've something for you ."

Tom:"What is that?"

Mr.Mailes:"It's a special shoe which makes you  speed up , this are for you Nichole , it's a bracelet that allow you to open many records and maps , use it well. "

Nichole:"Thank you so much , but we can't use magic ?"

Mr.Mailes:"They both contain a Diamond that absorbs  the magic around , ordinary people like you are outcasts in this kingdom . "

Then they went to the caravan and drove away to their next destination. 

Marissa:"Where are we heading now?"

Master:"To search for a job , we got no more money left to go to Marsael  ." 

Greed grumbles:"Ha!.... cleaning the caravan was difficult ."

Christine:"Excuse me , you know that we should return back , I got a test I need to pass."

Tom screams:"NO!...I would rather stay here than taking that test."

Dr. Marcuse:"You might want to change this idea in  future , after all , it's impossible for normal humans to stay here."

Nichole:"Is it just because they are hated here."

Dr. Marcuse:"There is a rule you must  keep  in mind, any man or woman marries a normal human , must forget about the magic kingdom and continue living in the human world. Don't underestimate the situation ."

The four remained in silence about the thing that they heard. 

Jason desperately:"Why you always have to choice a bad timing to say such important advice?"

Zeke surprised:"Wait!....You are from the human world ...how amazing!"

Greed:"There isn't anything there to be amazed by ."

Ayami:"Aren't we wasting time here ?"

Master:"There are farms nearby , we can help there and practice some magic."

Zeke:"And get some money."

Greed making fun of him:"To buy some wooden puppets for your show....I mean what kind of goal is that."

Zeke:"Is this how you thank me for saving you back there ."

Greed:"You didn't save me , you saved this buster ."

Jason:"Hay...did the dwarf said something?"

Greed:"Stop calling me that you lizard."

Marissa yells:"SHUT IT ALREADY!"

Zeke, pointing at Greed:"He started it ."
