He decided to head forward in the cave.

He met a core formation realm snake hiding in a branch. It was a Gabon viper, its poison could even kill a golden core realm cultivator.

He sprang forward and slashed his sword towards the snake. The snake moved sideways and moved to bite his earm but Du Chenyu was faster.

He used 7 misty step movement technique, avoided the snake's bite and slashed its head. The snake was cut in two.

He looked into the corpse of the snake.

Sadly it did not have a core. Some strange monsters existed in the world . Although the snake was in Core formation realm but it did not have a core.

Su Chenyu moved forward. Soon he reached a large underground base which even had a pond.

He washed himself and then decided to sit there and wait for 2 days before going out.

Cultivators in the Core formation realm did not need food and water to survive.

They could absorb energy from the air which is the qi energy and use that for nourishment.

They also could stay awake for months.

He practiced his movement technique for a few hours and then decided to use the sword techniques that he had learnt.

Soon two whole days passed.

Soon he got up from the place and planned to go out. However just as he was about to go he sensed a red light from the walls.

He looked carefully and sensed something was present there. He moved ahead towards it.

He slowly touched the wall where the red light was coming out.

Nothing happed.

He was about the break the wall to see what was behind it when suddenly a red light came out of the wall and vanished in his head.

Soon information filled his head. There was information regarding two techniques.

One was a flying sword technique and the other was a sword technique.

The flying sword technique could be used to fly using a sword but it required to reach Nascent Soul realm.

He looked at the information of the sword technique. It was called the plum blossom sword technique.

'I guess these two techniques were left behind by the founder of the Grand Xia Dynasty. '

'This trip is a total success!'

Su Chenyu made his way back up the cave. Soon he reached the entrance.

The two guards were still at the entrance. When Su Chenyu came out , they at first didn't notice anything.

However, Soon they noticed that they could not see his cultivation.

Not being able to see one's cultivation meant two things.

One , the other person was stronger .

Two, the other person had no cultivation.

The two guards were frightened thinking of the second possibility.
