The Last Tears

Emerald Castle... Jemmy sat lonely with his laptop hosting an online meeting with his staff. When he heard a slight movement, he looked at the bed attentively. "Send someone to protect Marina. She's my sister." Naysa said while still asleep. Jemmy didn't understand whether she was dreaming or meant what she said. When he tried to wake her up, she was still sleeping. But anyway, Wade was send off to Polar hotel. Evening, Naysa opened her eyes and stared into the black shiny eyes. Jemmy was too happy when she woke up. Though the doctor just said she was ok, Jemmy could still not believe his words. "How do you feel?" Jemmy asked. Naysa wanted to sit up but the strong hands held her back. "You'll hurt yourself." "Am fine I can sit ok?" She said but Jemmy didn't let her go. "Naysa there is one thing we have to talk about. The way you do take rush decisions is alarming and that's endangering your life. At least, wherever you go, take the guards with you. For the sake of your protection." Jemmy said. Naysa, with Jemmy's support sat up and looked at him. "I just don't know what came over me. Am sorry." She said, lowering her head like an obedient child to the parents. It was too cute that Jemmy stared at her admiringly. Even at her weakest point, she's still never lost her beauty. "I'll make you something to eat." He said as he stood up and headed to the kitchen. "Hey, some wonders here today!" Adrian started. "He's going to personally cook for her." Another guard said. "Wait, does he even know how to cook?" Stenson couldn't help laughing. In a matter of five minutes, the kitchen looked like a tornado zone. Broken pieces of glasses and plates were all over. Flour was all over the place plus in his face. His whole clothes were covered in flour and other kitchen ingredients. When he came out, Naysa who sat in the living room burst out laughing. Stenson couldn't help it as he took pictures. The other guards went out the couldn't suppress their laughter any longer. "Ooh my God! What were you doing?" Naysa held a mirror close to his face but Jemmy closed his eyes. "Do I look terrible?" He asked in a cute deep voice. "No... Not really. Who said my husband can look terrible? You look cute and funny. You've won a suit to the kitchen? I can't help it." Naysa laughed again. Looking at his suit, Jemmy couldn't help frowning. "What did you prepare for me?" She asked. "I made instant noodles." He said. "And how did you have your whole body covered in flour?" She asked. Jemmy kept quiet. "Can I go to the kitchen and have a look?" "No... Don't go there!" Jemmy stepped forward to stop her. "Can we go together then?" Naysa asked. "If you insist." He replied while leading the way. Naysa followed. The whole kitchen was a mess. The trash can was full of spoilt dumplings, pan cakes and many other goods he tried to prepare. He looked at Naysa innocently. "Ok you did a good job, but you're a pretty bad cook." She said. Jemmy stared at her as if digesting what she just said. "Ok, don't be mad at me for that kind of a comment. Can I be your teacher then?" "Sure." He replied. "But there is a fee to pay. Are you ready?" She asked. "How much is it teacher?" He asked eargerly that Naysa laughed. "It's not about money. It's something else." She said. "Whatever you want, I'll do it for you." Jemmy said. "Good, now take a guess before I tell you."

CHAPTER FIFTY SEVEN: YOU'RE THE CAUSE OF ALL THIS

Marina really wanted to tell her Ridden called several times to ask about her, but what will Naysa think? Besides, Larry Grants was personally here to see his sistervin law. To be straight to the point, he has slept here, a very rare thing. Though Marina and Larry hadn't talked mainly because she was here waiting for Naysa to wake up, and secondly because she had nothing to talk about. The Grants weren't those people who would discuss random things.

Naysa stood up.

"Take your medicine first, then put on your sandals." Marina held her back.

Naysa did as she was told. She still remembered everything that happened, and she still remembered seeing Jemmy. So of no doubt she knew where she was.

Walking down the crystal stairs towards the living room with Marina, Naysa felt she was the one wronged. Jemmy hadn't come at the graduation. If he had, then all this wouldn't have happened. She still had the mini gun, but this time it was in her room. Probably, Jemmy removed it when he was laying her down.

Naysa saw the figure which she was sure was neither Jemmy nor Hank but was someone else to the two from his appearance. He was standing next to Stenson who held out a document. Stenson saw her first.

"Madam, you're up?" He smiled.

Larry turned to look at her. Those black eyes.

"Huh!" Naysa's mouth hung open.

"He's Larry, Jemmy's younger brother." Stenson said. Jemmy had been locked in his room since Marina wouldn't give him a chance to stay close to Naysa. She stayed there instead. So Jemmy threw a little tantrum and locked himself up. He couldn't do anything after all because Naysa and Marina we're too close, and Marina had cried bitterly when she saw Naysa in that state that Jemmy who rarely sympathized with anyone did show sympathy to her. Though he was also down because Naysa was in that state.

"Hi... Am Naysa Haven. Nice to meet you Larry." Naysa smiled politely.

"Nice to meet you Naysa." They exchanged glances. The Grants don't like too much physical contact. Besides, this was his brother's lover. To stay on the safer side of Jemmy, he had to keep physical distance. "Marina waited for you the whole night." Larry, who rarely talked, said.

"Mmh... She's a good sister I have." Both Marina and Naysa smiled. Stenson had already send Jemmy a message when he saw Naysa. So Jemmy descended the stairs and came to them. Hank, the busy man who was never around even when one needs him was already out long time ago. It was also too good no one cares about his whereabouts except for the guards who were to stick around that stubborn figure all along.

Jemmy tried to hug Naysa but she stepped back .

"You're the cause of all this Jemmy." Naysa said bitterly. "At least I couldn't have believed you'll be that nice to me."

"Am sorry." He said, getting closer. "I was preparing to make a better ceremony for you. I had to drag this little thing from country Y all the way here to see you celebrate." Jemmy said, referring to Larry.

Larry made faces before walking out. Naysa looked at Marina, then at Jemmy and didn't know what to say.

"It has already happened. James and his men got waht they wanted." Jemmy said. "One thing, did you fuck with James?"

Marina felt embarrassed and ran upstairs. How could he be that shameless?

"What the hell are you talking about?" Naysa was now annoyed. How could she do such a thing? "Do you think just because I gave in to you that easily am that cheap?"

"No... That's not what I mean. He drugged you, and am just worried." Jemmy said.

"I'll kill myself if it happened? So what if I did? You are the reason why I had to go through all that." Naysa said.

"I want to make up to you... Get prepared. We're leaving together with Marina." Jemmy said. He wasn't so much concerned about Marina, but she was the only closest person to Naysa. Moreso, if he really wanted to make up to her for the graduation, he had to take Marina along since she also graduated the same day as Naysa.

"Am sorry I can't come along. I have an appointment somewhere. I got a job." Marina politely turned Naysa down when asked. She was already packing to leave. After all she rather stays with Uncle Tarran, or at the former apartment than be here for nothing.

"What job?" Naysa asked. "Too fast, how did you get it?"

"Assistant manager at Polar hotel. I have to say it was by luck. One lady who says I look like one of her past friends actually did me a favor when I visited there while looking for you." Marina laughed.

"One of her friends? What do you mean? Does she maybe know your mother?" Naysa asked.

"I doubt. She said her friend from country Y. I haven't known if my mother ever was at country Y." Marina said.
