The Last Tears

Emerald Castle... Jemmy sat lonely with his laptop hosting an online meeting with his staff. When he heard a slight movement, he looked at the bed attentively. "Send someone to protect Marina. She's my sister." Naysa said while still asleep. Jemmy didn't understand whether she was dreaming or meant what she said. When he tried to wake her up, she was still sleeping. But anyway, Wade was send off to Polar hotel. Evening, Naysa opened her eyes and stared into the black shiny eyes. Jemmy was too happy when she woke up. Though the doctor just said she was ok, Jemmy could still not believe his words. "How do you feel?" Jemmy asked. Naysa wanted to sit up but the strong hands held her back. "You'll hurt yourself." "Am fine I can sit ok?" She said but Jemmy didn't let her go. "Naysa there is one thing we have to talk about. The way you do take rush decisions is alarming and that's endangering your life. At least, wherever you go, take the guards with you. For the sake of your protection." Jemmy said. Naysa, with Jemmy's support sat up and looked at him. "I just don't know what came over me. Am sorry." She said, lowering her head like an obedient child to the parents. It was too cute that Jemmy stared at her admiringly. Even at her weakest point, she's still never lost her beauty. "I'll make you something to eat." He said as he stood up and headed to the kitchen. "Hey, some wonders here today!" Adrian started. "He's going to personally cook for her." Another guard said. "Wait, does he even know how to cook?" Stenson couldn't help laughing. In a matter of five minutes, the kitchen looked like a tornado zone. Broken pieces of glasses and plates were all over. Flour was all over the place plus in his face. His whole clothes were covered in flour and other kitchen ingredients. When he came out, Naysa who sat in the living room burst out laughing. Stenson couldn't help it as he took pictures. The other guards went out the couldn't suppress their laughter any longer. "Ooh my God! What were you doing?" Naysa held a mirror close to his face but Jemmy closed his eyes. "Do I look terrible?" He asked in a cute deep voice. "No... Not really. Who said my husband can look terrible? You look cute and funny. You've won a suit to the kitchen? I can't help it." Naysa laughed again. Looking at his suit, Jemmy couldn't help frowning. "What did you prepare for me?" She asked. "I made instant noodles." He said. "And how did you have your whole body covered in flour?" She asked. Jemmy kept quiet. "Can I go to the kitchen and have a look?" "No... Don't go there!" Jemmy stepped forward to stop her. "Can we go together then?" Naysa asked. "If you insist." He replied while leading the way. Naysa followed. The whole kitchen was a mess. The trash can was full of spoilt dumplings, pan cakes and many other goods he tried to prepare. He looked at Naysa innocently. "Ok you did a good job, but you're a pretty bad cook." She said. Jemmy stared at her as if digesting what she just said. "Ok, don't be mad at me for that kind of a comment. Can I be your teacher then?" "Sure." He replied. "But there is a fee to pay. Are you ready?" She asked. "How much is it teacher?" He asked eargerly that Naysa laughed. "It's not about money. It's something else." She said. "Whatever you want, I'll do it for you." Jemmy said. "Good, now take a guess before I tell you."

CHAPTER FIFTY SIX: DEAN FAMILY MEETING

"I swear, I'll kill my own with my own hands." Senior Dean sat in the middle of the room and fumed. He had also seen the video and many people had called him to tell him how shameless his son was.

"Dad, right now swearing won't help. As we all know, this whole thing is a blow to the Dean family. Instead of swearing on tearing Dallas apart, whom till now no one knows where he is, whether he is alive or not, why not think of how we will bring back our family dignity?" Caleb stood up respectfully and said.

"I think we should go deep into this matter. I don't think Dallas would wake up one day and do such a disgusting thing. Someone is behind this." Said Anna, the family distant cousin who felt like she was the one most touched by it. To be sincere, Anna had a secret affair with Dallas even if they were distant cousins. At least he would take care of her expenses since she was still unemployed.

"Anna, think of the family image first. Dallas will explain himself when he's here." Just when Caleb finished talking, Dallas staggered in. Everyone turned to glare at him.

"You son of a bitch... Sinful son, tell me, what's the meaning of all this?" Senior Dean flew into rage, tempting to reach his son and strangle him.

"Dad all this was a set up. I just need to go to hospital. You people should at least thank God am alive. What's the matter with you?" Dallas couldn't contain himself. He had a broken arm, a swollen face and a painful butt he wouldn't dare sit down.

"Hospital my foot! Can you explain this shit?" Senior Dean roared.

"Brother, who is behind this? Or who did you offend? Or tell us, are you just gay? Did you just decide to blow up the headlines?" Caleb asked, preventing their father from reaching Dallas.

"Gay?" Dallas laughed bitterly. "That's the last thing I'll ever do."

"Last thing? Last thing when you already did it? Talk to me you fool!" Senior Dean reached him and pushed him back. Dallas hit his sore butt on the hard floor and screamed.

"At least get him attended to first." His mother now talked.

"Shut up woman!" Senior Dean said.

"Whose behind this? "

"The Grant's."

Everyone stopped breathing for a moment. What did he just say? Dallas was so exhausted to talk. They had walked all the way from Hera forest. Even after getting to the main road, no one would give them a free ride after they had watched the video. After offering three times the fare and still getting ignored, he had walked all the way home.

The Dean's were among the third class families in K nation, so they were furious their image had been tarnished.

Anna helped Dallas into his bedroom when the people in the living room were still arguing. She then took the initiative to call the doctor.

MEANWHILE:

James Caskeys didn't even have the slightest energy to continue the journey back home. He had suffered back injuries when he had been thrown out, plus a few slaps on the face. His private parts hurt so much he walked with his legs apart. His butt wasn't in any good condition either. His hair was messy and he looked around with teary eyes.

Not getting an transport home, he fainted outside the Caskeys Company. He was lucky Diana was going out and saw him. She called for help and James was helped into the car. Diana then drove home.

Old man Andrew looked at James with venomous eyes. James wasn't biological a Caskey. They shared the same mother with Diana and Roderick, but not the same father. His mother had been married when she was six months pregnant.

But right now his family image was a mess and he couldn't disown James either. He had carried the Caskeys name since birth and everyone knew he was the first son and heir. His actions greatly affected the Caskey's family in general.

Old man Andrew wanted to cry when he looked at James'face but he couldn't. His blood pressure went up and he finally fainted. Diana was the stressed one more than anyone else. Roderick had left with Livia and all this task of taking care of the two was in her hands.

"Fuck you James!" She cursed.

Emerald Castle

Except for slight head injuries, Naysa was fine. She woke up the following morning with a terrible headache. Marina had been sitting besides the bed all day after Samara left to continue with her job. When Naysa saw Marina, she finally broke down and cried in her arms.

"Marina am sorry but... I just..."

"Ssh! I want you calm down. You're my good sister and you're safe now ok?" Marina hugged he even tighter.

"I failed you." Naysa said.
