Can we talk?

I might not be the best son to have but Dad,….you don't deserve the title of a father." Those words constantly rang in my ears, they haunted me and I couldn't get them out of my head no matter how hard I tried. Maybe he was right after all.

Maybe I don't deserve to be called a father.

I could feel my wolf whimper in my mind as it attempted to comfort me.

"He hates me," I whispered, my voice muffled from holding back tears. 

My hands tightened around my coffee cup as the pain in my heart only worsened at that thought. 

"You know he just said that out of anger, he didn't mean it." But my wolf's words did nothing to help my situation.

The guilt that was plaguing me wasn't easy to shake off by a mere smooth talk. If he truly didn't mean those words then why would he say them? He wouldn't even think of it if I don't deserved it.
