I look around for ferals, then another storm comes by. I can see the dark clouds, slowly approaching Sunlight Town. "That can't be good." I say, remembering how I found the first feral dead in some rain. I spotted something at the corner of my eye, a dark figure, just behind a building, staring at me. "Who's there?" I yell, whipping my head around. "A fellow feral, how are you today?" The feral said, "Feral?" I say back. "Aren't you a feral? You sure look like one." The feral says. "Well, I am. I was just confused." I say, realizing this is a good time to get some information on The Ferals. "Okay, have you seen this guy around here?" The Feral says, then whipping out a paper of my face. I could tell he didn't know it was me because of the clothing and the bandana. "I haven't seen him anywhere." I say. "Okay, also, what are you doing out here?" The Feral says. "I was out looking for supplies." I say. "But, I was assigned for that." The Feral replies in suspicion. I start to sweat a bit, my brain is flaring alarms, the sound of a fire truck. Say something quick, say something quick! I say to myself. "Oh, probably they got mixed up and forgot I was looking for them." I said. "On the paper it said nobody took the slot for looking for supplies and there aren't two slots." The feral says. "Uhh, meow?" I say, hoping this would work like in the sonic movie. "Bro, you're not a cat- I punch him in the face and grab the back of his collar, then sweeping him off the ground and slamming his head into the pavement. "GAH!" The feral says, holding his head, I forgot that he had a helmet on. "You're the guy in the picture, aren't you!?" The feral said, then swinging at me. I sway back dodging the first punch, only to get kicked in my stomach. I grunt in pain, then kicking his knee, I hear a little snap "AHHHHHHH!" The feral yells. "Chill out man, it's only a fracture." I said. The feral gets back up and punches me in the face. I swing back, hitting his upper lip, he stumbles and holds his mouth. "You damn little kid!" The feral says, kicking my side. I held my side, then got uppercutted in the jaw. I take it in, and wind up my fist. I then launched a falcon punch straight into his nose, I'm pretty sure I heard a sonic boom. The feral flies back a couple of feet and falls straight on his butt. I walk over to the feral, and place my robot hand on his neck. "Tell me, where are the rest of your group?" I say, "You'll never know!" The feral says, spitting on me. I then put my hand off of his neck and took out the blade in my robotic palm. I place it on his neck, "Are you sure?" I say. I push the blade a bit harder on his neck. "Okay okay okay! Chill out! They are down north, at St. Norfolk. Look for a scrap town, then you'll find them!" The feral says. "Thanks for the intel, '' I say, then slitting his throat and stabbing his lung. Instantly killing him, I then loot him for some things, I find some supplies, like food, water, some materials, and an old flashlight that you shake to get power in.

I put these things in my backpack, then grabbing the paper that had my face on it. It said: Wanted: Trevor Berlin, Dead or Alive, Reward: $24.39. "Huh, I say, stuffing the paper in my pocket." I switch my flashlight to the old one. I then just keep the other flashlight in my backpack, just in case this one breaks. I look around, I guess I could try to find Anthony and tell him this intel. I hear the radio chattering. I walk over to it and pick it up, I clear my throat and then say this in the feral's voice: "I ran into a hoard of zombies. It might take me awhile to get back." I say into the radio. It replies with: "Okay, stay safe." Then cutting off. I keep the radio so I can get more intel on these Ferals, I found out this guy had some clear scotch tape, I use it and write: FERAL RADIO on the piece of tape, then sticking it on the front of the radio.I stuff then radio on the side pocket of my backpack. I don't think they are going to send any more Ferals, I say in my head. I walk down the street, I turn my head to some old broken down pizzeria called: Pizza From Outer Space. I walk inside and see the tables are flipped and chair legs are everywhere. I spell the scent of rotten decomposing pizza, but also a nice smell, flowing through the air. "What is this, godly smell?" I whisper. I practically feel like I'm about to float through in the air like one of those cartoons. I shuffle over closer to the smell, the kitchen door is cracked open, I slowly open the door, it creaks obnoxiously. I then get a small glimpse of this person about to chomp down on a pizza, they look over and drop their slice of pizza, I catch it but before I knew it, I saw a blur of them, just zooming out, "HEY! YOU FORGOT YOUR PIZZA!" I yell. "Meh, they probably can't hear me, might as well have some lunch after a hard battle." I say, shrugging. "I haven't had this in a while." I saw, then a sunset appeared on me, I looked to my right, saying: "That's one helluva sunset. They do call this town Sunlight for a reason." I said, then chomping on the pizza, "Mmmm." I'd say in delight. I open the can of rootbeer and take a sip. "Nothing better than root beer and pizza at a wasteland sunset." I said. I then munched down even more on the pizza.

A few pizza slices later…

I then finished my third slice of pizza, I still had some room for my rootbeer. I chug down the last gulps of it, then seeing there are at least four slices left. I looked for a box and put the four slices of pizza inside the box, I put the box inside my backpack and headed out. I see a soft serve ice cream machine, "Bingo!" I say, then going to it for some nice yummy vanilla ice cream. I walk outside of the pizzeria, licking my ice cream, "This is the best post-apocalyptic day of my life." I'd say. Then I walked, and walked, until I finally reached the comic book store again, it was a bit late, 8:37 PM. I walk inside the store, and set down my stuff, I finish the cone of my icecream and then take a seat in the principal's chair, "What a day." I say, I go to the radio scanner, and grab my toolbox, "My dad wanted me to be the smartest mechanic in the world. I won't fail him now, I said, then working on the radio scanner, I rewired some things and put in some screws. It takes a whole lot of work and a lot of toughness because I got shocked a lot, my fingers, rest in peace. I then rework the antenna, then grabbing the back case of it, I place it on then I take out my screwdriver. I tighten up the screws and see that: "It's out of batteries." I'd say. I get up and look around for some batteries, I find none. "What? There has to be some batteries, there can't be none!" I said scrambling through drawers and piles. I found no batteries, there are NO batteries, "This sucks." I said, even though when walking home I said this was the best day ever. I check my watch, "It's almost 9 PM, Night Lurkers are just about to wake up." I'd say. "Well, it's for finding our parents." I said, then putting on my satchel and backpack, and the rest of my gadgets, weapons, etc. I then walked out of the comic book store, locking and closing the door behind me, I spotted one of those map things, it was the map of the town. I spotted James' Hardware Store, our local hardware store. I take out a piece of paper and write down the map directions. "Okay, I need to go, and quickly." I'd say then walking, I turn on my flashlight, a night lurker then appears in front of me, I freeze, the light shines on the night lurker, but it just walks past me. "That's weird, they didn't see me. Unless." I said, then taking out my journal, I flip to a clean page, I'd write: Night Lurkers cannot see, they apparently rely on their hearing, completely blind. I then close my journal and put it back inside my pocket with the pencil. I tread carefully, more careful than I ever had. Then I take a look at my map again, I see that I just need to take a left, and then go down to the end of the block. I'd make a left at the corner, then walking towards the end of the block. I look to my left, and see James' Hardware Store, I slowly open the doors, then walking inside. "Batteries batteries batteries." I whisper, I looked for the isle that had electronics in it, then looking up, I saw the sign. Saying: ELECTRONICS, I walked over to the isle, and saw the batteries, I grabbed the three batteries and pocketed them. "Okay, battery mission, check." I'd then walk out of the store, until that's when I saw a whole bunch of night lurkers. Being followed by zombies that are like the night lurkers, they had a weak body and a ton of spores on their body, and their head looked like a mangled piece of wood. They start to twitch a bit, then screeching, I then see more Night Lurkers and weaker night lurkers follow, plus zombies. I get a good look at one, and take out my journal, drawing it. I call them Screechers, I close my journal and I get to the back of the store, this hardware store isn't as big as some pharmacy stores, it's only like, as big as two gas stations, I mean the inside. Gas stations have those tiny stores in them, just think of that, but twice as big. I watch the Night Lurkers and Screechers walk past the hardware store. I still had my flashlight on and had barely any food, and all I could do was just, sit there. I wasn't even tired, I searched through my bag for a small snack, I found a small water bottle, I'd open it, then I drank it. I gulped down the water, I checked my watch, it was almost 11 PM, I took off my back pack and put it behind the counter, I then lay down on the dirty, cold tile. Then staring at the ceiling, I'd close my eyes, drifting off to sleep.
