Yes, when you are madly in love, your heart can speak without words. Even if you can’t meet them in person, your heart can still feel the happiness, sadness, depression, and what not? “THE LAST LOVE” is one such story of our girl realizing her love. (excerpt) “Zaike, I’m sorry!!!”. But she paused. She didn’t feel it right to apologize to him virtually right away like that. Deleting the text, she wrote again, “Hey there!! Please reply to me, Zaike… please do reply to me soon… I can’t bear this feeling anymore… I’m too full of stuff. I’ve spoken already… Please reply to me, Zaike… I want to see your eyes…feel the warmth… let us not be like this, Zaike…I can’t bear this pain anymore…” she paused. “I miss you already!!” Armelle completed texting as her eyes wandered to check once again. Armelle was a passionate girl who had never been in love before. Zaike, a childhood buddy of Armelle, falls in love with her. Nevertheless, everything has a beginning. Clashing swords!!

"Zyaire, you look disturbed. Are you all right?" Noel voiced out when she noticed Zyaire being silent, which was contrary to his usual self. He was a reserved type of person but not unfriendly at the same time.

But Zyaire didn't seem to be attentive to his surroundings. He walked staring at the floor tiles which had a pattern of geometric shapes. He was startled when Noel patted his back to get his attention.

"Hey, man!! You look so much out of yourself. Perhaps, anything bothers you??" Noel asked noticing his cheerless face.

Zyaire has a sociable character but it was so unlike him when they were inside the VIP ward of Armelle. He sat tongue-tied as if he was stricken by something, after entering inside the VIP ward of her.

"Yeah!! I'm fine. Just that my head hurts a little." He replied to her and once again immersed into the pit of his thoughts.

'He must have skipped his meal in the morning. Such a workaholic' she mused in her thoughts watching over the gloomy face of Zyaire. She knew him well. He forgot to have his breakfast in his rush to meet Professor. Han for discussing their project.

"Guys!! Shall we go for a break? I'll treat you all to a nice coffee in my favorite coffee shop!" she spoke as they neared the hospital exit.

Everyone nodded in agreement except for Zyaire.

….

"Zaike, planning to visit Rowan? I heard she was already wide awake." Rex spoke chalantly observing Zaike's expression. It was 9 in the morning when Rex received the information that Armelle regained consciousness from the attending physician of Armelle.

"I'll visit her after my shift" he replied looking outside through the window at the fast-moving vehicle along the road.

"Make the chopper ready by that time" he continued.

Rex nodded his head in reply followed by the words of concern, "Be careful" he meant those words with the hidden agenda not to invest more feeling towards her.

The plain terrain grassland is arranged with soldiers in fully covered iron armor, waiting for the sun to rise in the sky. The whirlwind blew around the area taking away the deafening silence that prevailed around. The air blown was intermixed with the smell of blood and the rusting smell of iron. Everyone's eyes were directed towards the sky waiting for the sun to rise to start their deadly battle of the day.

The soldiers on their sides wore armor that was crafted with the symbol of a Star, while the opponents had a symbol of the sun in their armor and weapons.

The Symbol was determined to separate the soldiers on either side.

'This day should be the last day.' Everyone prayed inside their heart to end this battle of blood, tears, and pain.

'I should be strong! I should not give up before I begin today!!' a girl in disguise as a soldier encouraged herself to stand in the front row of the battlefield that day. She was brave yet she felt nervous as it was her first battle soon to be the last battle of her life.

She could sense the smell of fresh blood dripping from the soldier's wound, who stood next to her. The soldier stood there without showing any trace of the bitterness of pain in his eyes rather his eyes glowed with spirits. It wondered the young girl, but she was inspired by the determination of that soldier. Her heart drummed out of her chest as the seconds passed. She felt all her blood would drain soon at that moment. She wasn't afraid but she was nervous. The soldiers on the front line stood in complete armor, whereas the soldiers on the back had armor covering only their vital parts, they were equipped with the longbow and arrow with which they could cover the large area of their enemies from their point without moving forward.

Soon the sound of the cornets started to echo around the battlefield followed by the sound of Drums deafening the ears of the soldiers who stood there. It was the signal for both sides to start their deadly battle for that day. Soon the General who stood in charge of each side raised their swords to order the soldier to move forward.

The swordsmen from both sides moved forward, and soon the clash of sword sounds echoed throughout the region followed by the cries and screams of men. The sun stood there brightly observing the soldiers who ripped each other's bodies with the sword on the battlefield, sucking the energy of the soldiers.

The acidic smell of sweat and blood filled the battleground. The dried blood on the ground was covered with the fresh scarlet red liquid from the soldiers who are wound by the swords and daggers.

The little nervousness she had was surpassed by the excitement as she moved forward to face her opponent in the battle. Soon she clashed her sword against the sword of her foe who stood on the other side of her. Her ferocious gaze never failed to make the opponent shiver. She swirled the sword towards the opponent, her slender body carried the heavy armor and, in a spin, she chopped off her opponent's head and body separately, the blood released from the cut, splashed all over the entire place covering the meadow with a blood bath.

Without giving any slightest importance to feelings towards the dead person she killed, she moved forward to encounter another attack from her foe. She stepped over the corpse lying on the ground to move forward to attack another one. The lifeless bodies of the soldiers were scattered all over the ground within a few minutes of the battle. The wind carried the bitterness of the life-and-death struggle. They were destined to kill each other not because of their vengeance but due to their dedication and loyalty towards their king and their country. They didn't mind killing others but they do regret taking their lives away from them with or without their will. It was pained to see the mighty soldiers falling lifeless but it was not the place to feel sympathy for others' life. As everyone needs to safeguard their life to meet their loved ones, once they succeeded in the battle.

The blades sparkled reflecting the bright sunlight, blocking the vision of the opponent. With one slash another head ripped away from the body of the soldier. The chopped head rolled in the field while his headless body moved in a zigzag with his hands swirling the sword in the reflex of his muscles, soon the headless body fell to the ground lifeless in the pool of his blood.
