The Kid

We set a course to the core of the Falx Empire, Capital planet Flaxia. The planet itself is one of the largest in the Empire with a population reaching thirty billion inhabitants. There is a nearly impenetrable defense of ships and stations protecting the planet, where even I would not be able to force my way in. I just hope that no one there recognizes me and gets the news to the Emperor.

The reason being is that, well do to my actions, I actually created the Falx Empire. Well more like paved the way for them to be created and had once said something inspirational to the first Emperor before he actually founded the Empire. After that he decided to put me as something similar to a guardian elder, which I want no part of. The Empire has been after me since.

I still find it hard to believe that just because I had gotten rid of the last Terran Regime that ruled this part of the galaxy and talked to that little kid one time actually created the current day Falx Empire.

Back to current time, and aboard the Evanescent. The crew is on the way to that capital planet which is estimated at six days till arrival. Most people have kept to themselves in their quarters, the only exception is the newly rescued kid. The kid which is name Jamie Lockster, son of one of the councilmembers for the Falx Council of Elders.

The Lockster family has been apart of the Council since the founding days of the Empire and has actively always supported the Falx family in their ruling. The next head of the family, Jamie is currently playing pranks on the droids that walk the corridors.

He would do many things to these droids, such as placing trip wires to make them fall; or he would have a bucket of water fall onto them when they walked into a room. Luckily the droids can handle water or else many electrical problems would ensue. As the boy was having his fun playing this pranks on the unknowing droids, ADP-01 who was watching it all from the bridge was getting annoyed at the boy.

"I hate kids, they do shananigans like this causing all kind of trouble for the working class like ourselves. I need to have a word with Master Zen, that this is unnacceptable treatment for us droids." ADP muttered to himself as he paged the comms system connected to Zen's room.

"Master we have trouble, I need you to proceed to the bridge to address these situations." ADP told the now waking Zen.

"Be right there ADP, hold on for a minute." Yawning I tiredly reply to ADP.

I arrive to the bridge only to see ADP fuming while pacing across the bridge, muttering incoherently to himself. I don't like the sight of a droid doing this, it give me a bad feeling about the superiority thinking some droids get.

"So whats the situation you are having problems with ADP?" I ask not really wanting to deal with it.

"That evil little demon you brought on board this ship is causing all kind of problems to the droids that are trying to work. Since he has messed with them, work efficiency has gone down a whole 28%!" ADP angrily clatters back.

"Huh, the kid we rescued is causing problems. Let me see the recordings." I walk over to watch the holographic screen that shows the boy doing pranks on the innocent droids.

"Alright i'll go have a talk with him to see if I can get him to stop this nonsence." I declare to ADP as I walk out of the bridge heading to Jamie's current location.

I arrive just in time to see Jamie pull another tripping prank causing the droid to fall and drop a bunch of metal pipes all over the ground.

"Alright little boy, its time for you stop your little shenanigans here and now." I tell him the boy resolutely hoping he comply's the first time.

"My name's Jamie, not little boy! And your not my father, so you can't tell me what to do!"He runs down the hall.

"Sorry Jax, you might not be able to take this boy back safely to his father." I mutter under my breath while a vein on my forehead twitches to the boy's rude reaction.

"Hey you little brat, if you don't stop right now your not gonna go back home with all your limbs intact! If you don't want to return as a vegetable, go back to your room until we arrive!" I yell after Jamie, threatening him to stop.

"You bluff, you old man." the kid remarks while sticking his tongue out.

"I do, do I! Well i guess your father might not miss that mouth of yours!" I say angrily while unsheathing one of the swords on my back.

"Zen, stop don't hurt the kid." Jax comes up from behind Jamie to protect him him from me.

"Don't worry, I won't kill him. He'll just be little different from other kids after i'm done with him." I reply with a smirk on my face, imagining the cruel punishments i could give.

"This is why I don't like bringing you on missions with me Zen. I'll watch the kid to make sure he doesn't do anything else disruptive" Jax tries to calm me down, and mediate the situation

"Fine, next time I hear his little lips move again, I'll make sure they permanantly stay closed." I walk off not wanting to deal with any snot nosed brats again.
