Space Fishing

The moment the pressure thrusted me out into space, I utilize the small thruster pack attached to the space suit to hurtle myself in the direction of the top part of the Evanescence! When I arrive at the top and near the hull of the ship I activate the magnetic soles on my boots so that I will stick properly and can move on the outside of the ship.

Once I feel that I have properly attached myself to the ship, I call over the communications system to inform ADP-01 that I'm ready for the start of the plan.

"ADP, I'm all ready. Initiate first phase of the plan and get us in view of the beast!" I say to him while getting the Soul Harpoon and Eternal Prison ready.

"Roger! Initiating first phase!" ADP-01 mechanical voice comes over the communications piece in my ear.

The moment he announces to the crew of the beginning of first phase, the ships thrusters move to get us completely around he steroid in full view of the space Beast. The Beast is currently in between two large asteroids eating bits and pieces off of them, even though it seems to be aware of us, it has yet to seem us a threat and is ignoring our presence.

"Fire!" I hear ADP announce over the intercom of the ship, signaling for all port side proton cannons to fire.

The aim of the cannons are not at the Beast but of the asteroids around it to make them explode and startle the beast. The moment that the asteroids explode into countlessly small fragments moving in all directions. The space Beast that is both startled and angry that it's food source has all of a sudden exploded charges out in our direction, while charging up a small black hole within the confines of its mouth.

In response and according to phase one of the plan, ADP-01 shoots out the left sides anchor towards the extremely large asteroid where the anchor penetrates deep into the middle of the asteroid. With the anchor now attached to the asteroid that is thrice the size of the Evanescent, ADP diverts most of the engines powers towards the anchor. Sending this energy and using an adapter, charges the pure energy onto the anchor sending it straight into the asteroid.

The moment that the pure energy that is infused onto the anchor hits the asteroid, it's splits in half sending each half of the asteroid hurtling in either direction. And just as we had wanted, the right half of the asteroid ends up moving directly in front of the space Beast very abruptly where it does not have time to veer off course.

The Space Beast then slams head first into the asteroid taking a large chunk out of it from the black hole that had formed within its mouth. Since the whole asteroid is too big for the Beasts mouth, it can't swallow the entire thing in one bite.

"Initiate Phase two!" I quickly order ADP over comms.

Once ADP-01 heard my command, he steers our ship toward the space Beast and to where it had slammed right into the asteroid and bring the beast within view and range of my Harpoon gun.

With the Beast in sights, I don't hesitate to pull the trigger and release the lightly blue colored yet see through harpoon spear with the chain attached. It quickly hits and anchors itself to the beasts soul which causes it indescribable pain and everyone soon hears it's loud wailing throughout the region.

Even with the loud cry's of the Beast, my harpoon gun feels no emotion as the gun cranks the chain back towards our location at an alarming speed. The beast try's to escape by thrashing about but to no avail as it is being pulled by the soul and not the physical body.

It does not take long for the Space Beast reaches within twenty meters of myself to where I take out the small cube and designate the Space Beast as the prisoner to where the cube fly's outward from my hands towards the beast and competent envelopes it and finally returns to my hand as if it never left. The Soul harpoon that was dragging its prey towards me and then lost its prey immediately retracts back to the gun.

"Alright mission complete, get us out of the the private territory so we don't have any unwanted attention" I immediately order ADP once I confirmed the beast is trapped inside of the Eternal Prison.

ADP-01 quickly starts the engines and gets us to neutral space outside of the private zone that is designated by the corporation that owns the mining outpost. While he was flying the ship to the neutral zone, I had returned to the ship and took of the protective gear and immediately ran towards my workshop.

Once I arrive I quickly set the Harpoon gun to the side and take out the Eternal Prison and set it on the table. One of the cool things is, that as long as I use something to be able to see within the cube, I can interact with the beings trapped inside. I take out a surgical knife and a plain looking bowl and set them next to cube. I then grab a microscope and put in some specialized lens and look inside the cube.

Just as I was about to begin the surgical removal of its heart while it is trapped, I hear an urgent voice coming through the intercoms.

"Master Zen, please quickly return to the bridge!" I slams the surgical knife down on the table and walk out the door towards he bridge annoyed.
