"The reason is simple Mr.Dumbledore, you are a Dumbledore, the Sacred Twenty-eight are afraid to have another Albus Dumbledore. They want an ally rather than an enemy. Therefore, they have decided to kill your magical guardian and let David Greengrass adopt you." said Griphook smiling revealing his ugly teeth.

"Hahaha Adopt me? Since I am an orphan again, they want to use my friendship with Daphne to enroll me? That's the funniest thing I ever heard in my life," said Anthony laughing maniacally.

After his business in Gringotts, Anthony went to his apartment to find an OWL from the Ministry of Magic.

Anthony took the letter from the OWL and gave some traits. The OWL flew away and left Anthony alone in his apartment excluding the Basilisk in the briefcase and John" Dawlish in the next bedroom.

'Application for Magical Guardian' Anthony opened the letter and found that there was an official letter from the DMLE head Amelia Bones, and an official Application for Magical Guardian. The application is a simple application that asks for the basic information of Anthony and the respective potential Magical Guardian for him.

The basic step is that Anthony would choose his Magical Guardian and when they both fill out the application, the application will vanish and appear at the Ministry of Magic. If the Ministry of Magic finds no fraud and illegal activity, they would accept the person as the juvenile's Magical Guardian.

Just as when Anthony got his application, the doorbell in the front door rang.

John Dawlish took out his wand and become prepared for a battle and checked the front door. Anthony came down to the first floor as well and saw David Greengrass, father of Daphne waving at him with a gentle smile.

John Dawlish recognized one of the Wizengamot members and opened the door.

"Mr.Greengrass, good afternoon. What business do you have here?" asked John Dawlish with a polite tone.

"I am here to visit Anthony! Hello my boy, how have you been? Since the Christmas holiday, I only got time now and decided to visit you today." said David Greengrass with a fatherly tone.

David Greengrass gave Anthony a box with a gift and asked him how he is doing and talked about Daphne a bit. Anthony prepared three cup of tea so that David Greengrass, John Dawlish and he can talk while drinking tea.

"Anthony, if you like, you can live with us for a while instead of living alone here. Astoria my daughter would be delighted to have you in our family!" said David Greengrass trying to invite Anthony to his manor.

"I apologize sir, But since Daphne's disappearance, seeing something that resembles her makes me feel sad," said Anthony.

David Greengrass had sadness for Daphne and anger for Anthony's rejection in his eyes, but he hides it deeply and smiled at Anthony.

"It's natural my boy, but to overcome something you need to face it. So think wisely, if you need any home, we would always welcome you!" said David Greengrass.

"Yes sir, I will surely go to your house in the future. But I think it's better to stay here at this moment." replied Anthony.

During this moment, David Greengrass wanted to use Confundus charm on Anthony and let him change his mind. But glancing at John Dawlish an Auror sitting next to Anthony, he changed his mind and nodded.

Soon the conversation ended and David Greengrass went back home.

'If you need any home, we would always welcome you.. I think if this continued, I may have attacked David first' thought Anthony. He tried to hide his hatred for David and pretended to be innocent as much as possible.

Just right after when David Greengrass got out from his house and Anthony went to his room again, the doorbell rang again.

'Who now? Don't tell me it's someone who wants to adopt me again! This is my house, not an orphanage!' thought Anthony and went down to the first floor again with John Dawlish.

But to surprise, Gilderoy Lockhart was standing in front of the glass wooden door and was smiling at Anthony holding his book Magical Me with him.

"Dawlish, can I have some private words with Lockhart?" said Anthony sending Dawlish to the second floor.

"Lockhart! What are you doing here? What happens if someone sees you!" reprimanded Anthony.

"Who cares, I came here to give you my new book Magical Me, If someone sees me I will just tell you that I came here to give you one of my books. You are an orphan who lives alone at the Firebolt company and every witch and wizard knows it in Diagon Alley!" said Lockhart smiling.

"Thanks for reminding me that I am an orphan, but seriously, what business do you have?" asked Anthony.

"Anthony, to tell you the truth! I have found out that the position of DADA professor at Hogwarts is cursed. I have studied every DADA teacher that taught DADA in Hogwarts for the past twenty years. But all of them are either dead, missing, crazy or something unfortunate happened so that they can't continue their job more than one academic year!" Lockhart said to Anthony with a worried face.

"So you did your homework well! Good job Lockhart. And what do you want from me then?" asked Anthony.

"Our unbreakable vow forces me to be a DADA Teacher at Hogwarts, but I may die, if you have any solution to break this curse, please tell me!" said Lockhart begging Anthony.

'Hmm, I need a magical guardian, and Lockhart is bound to me with an unbreakable vow, so he may be the best candidate as my Magical Guardian' thought Anthony and raised his index finger.

"Under one condition, I can help you to break this curse. But you must accept this condition!" said Anthony showing his index finger to Lockhart.

Lockhart stared at Anthony's index finger and gulped down his saliva.

"What is the condition?" asked Lockhart.

"You have to become my magical guardian and foster father after the Academic year begins," said Anthony looking at Lockhart.

When Lockhart heard this condition, he was frightened. Because in Diagon Alley there is a saying that whoever adopts Anthony Dumbledore, that person will die miserably. It is just gossip that David Greengrass has spread in order to prevent other people from adopting Anthony. But the gossip has already reached Lockhart's eyes and he knows that Anthony's biological parents and foster parents are dead now.

Lockhart wanted to reject Anthony's condition. But he started to weigh whether dying due to the DADA Teacher curse or dying due to Antony's orphanage curse would be less painful. But his unbreakable vow activated and he couldn't betray Anthony so he trusted Anthony that he is not a curse so he immediately rejected unwillingly.

"I accept!" said Lockhart raising index finger but regretted immediately.
