Plans begin!

Cross returned to school the next day.

He was eating breakfast as if nothing happened, but in his eyes there was an ice cold ruthless look. He read a newspaper of a mass escape from Azkaban. He sneered and finished his food, Hermione and the other two came up and Hermione asked "Are you okay?"

Cross ignored her and walked away without a word, he didn't speak to anyone really. Not even bothering with the students as he planned every move carefully.

First he needed to do something about the food and he had just the plan.

A few days later

Cross heard Dumbledore disappeared from the school, he had left the grounds. Cross sneered, a fatal mistake. He teleported to the kitchen and shouted in Elven "All House-Elves come here, immediately!"

There were dozens of pops before a group of House-Elves appeared in front of him, trembling in fear at the rage they felt. Cross grinned evilly as he said "As of today, you have a new master." he waved his hand and all the Elves were set free, he waved again and they all became his.

The Elves kneeled and said "Greeting, your highness." Cross nodded and said "You will cook all the food from now on with this." he pulled out a giant cauldron filled with a pink liquid.

The House-Elves were curious and Cross explained "The cleaning Elves will remain normal as if nothing happened, but you will report to me about any suspicious behavior, and if you see Dumbledore, you will inform me immediately."

The House-Elves nodded and Cross continued "The cooks will use this potion. It is a mind cleansing potion of the highest grade. Everything your previous master has done will be reversed. Oh and another thing, if you happen to see your previous master, you will act like he is still your master. If he asks why your connection has been lost, simply say you don't know and listen to him."

He looked at all the House-Elves and said seriously "Whatever he tells you, you will tell me. Is that clear?" The House-Elves respectfully replied in unison "Yes, your Highness." Cross nodded and said "Good. Get to work. All food must have the potion used by the next meal and every meal after that."

The House-Elves got to work and Cross teleported away, walking around the school.

A while later

He saw a bunch of students walking out of the great hall, while Cho stood there with a sad expression. Harry came out and Cho said "Harry! I-" Harry ignored her and walked away. Cross was leaning on the wall as he watched with a malicious expression in his eyes.

Imperious Curse or not. She will pay. Dearly.

Cho walked back, depressed, as she passed Cross.

Cross looked at her and pointed his finger as he said "Imperio." Cho stopped completely and looked to be in a trance, Cross walked to her ear and whispered "Kill yourself. Hang from the bridge from a noose, leave a note explaining how you felt so guilty you couldn't go on."

Cho mechanically nodded and walked away as Cross grinned and left in another direction.

Cross arrived in Umbridge's office and poured an irritation potion in her tea, before rifling through her things. He finally found what he was looking for and stuffed it in his storage bag before teleporting away.

The next day

People found Cho's corpse, blowing in the wind, hanging from the bridge. They were devastated, Cross looked on with cold eyes as they found a suicide note on her body, detailing how she felt so guilty for betraying her friends that she felt like she didn't deserve to live anymore.

Cross had to say, excellent acting by Ms. Cho. Perhaps they would give her an award if she wasn't already a corpse. He felt nothing, her death didn't satisfy him in the least, though he didn't care that much either. She got what she deserved and that was the end of that.

Another few days passed

Cross took his Owls and passed with flying colors, the students started to mellow out and realize that they were extremely angry at Slytherin for no good reason, the Slytherin students realized that they were very irritable towards everyone else for no reason as well.

They started eating more at school as the food felt refreshing and made them happy.

Umbridge, however, was getting more irritable by the day, as Cross kept drugging her with irritation potions. He was going to mentally break this woman until making her a retard.

Even the teachers started waking up from the Ligilimency used on them, some of them started getting into the student's lives more and actually teaching honestly, not praising Dumbledore every chance they got.

Cross was writing his Charms Owls, when a fireworks show happened. He finished the Owls and sealed them before watching the show, Umbridge was chased out of the room and the firework dragon bit over her, shooting fireworks all over the place and destroying all the notices on the walls, making them fall to the ground around Umbridge.

The students ran outside to see Fred and George making a giant 'W' in the sky before flying away.

Cross left the class, handing the Owls to Umbridge as he left.

A while later

Cross was sitting outside, reading peacefully, when he saw Umbridge walking out with Hermione and Harry leading her. Cross followed them secretly right into the forest, he covered himself in dark strings, disappearing from sight as he walked right behind them.

Umbridge said "You tricked me, haven't you?" Hermione and Harry were silent and Umbridge heard a twig snap behind her, she turned around seeing a horde of Centaurs. Umbridge backed away slowly as she said "You have no business here Centaur. This is a Ministry matter."

The Centaur snorted and ignored her as they drew their bows.

Umbridge said "Lower your weapons! By the law, as creatures of mere human intelligence-" the Centaurs shot at her, but she blocked it and shouted "How dare you! You filthy half-breed!"

She fired a rope but it was cut up in the air and fell to the ground.

Cross revealed himself and held up his hand to the Centaur, who backed off but still trained their bows on Umbridge.

Umbridge shouted "Mr. Greengrass! How dare you! I-" Cross cut her off with an emotionless tone as he said "Enough. I have held back for long enough. Your punishment shall be dealt today." he raised his hand and Umbridge flew towards his hand.

Cross grabbed her neck and said "Crucio Maxima." Purple lightning flew out into Umbridge and she screeched in pain, Cross frowned and said "Silence." Umbridge still screamed but nothing came out.

He turned his head and said "You may leave. Obliviate. Ligilimens." Harry and Hermione left, Cross had changed their memories to believe that the Centaurs had taken Umbridge away. He looked back at Hermione and narrowed his eyes as he left a string ear on her shoulder.

Cross tossed Umbridge to the ground in front of the Centaurs and pointed "Crucio Ultima!" black lightning came out this time, Umbridge writhed on the ground, her pupils shrinking and enlarging rapidly as she felt extreme pain. Even worse than tearing her soul, her mind couldn't withstand the torture and she was directly driven mentally retarded.

Umbridge was on the ground, drooling like a fool with her eyes unfocused.

Cross looked at the Centaurs and said in Elven "Take her. What you do with her doesn't matter. Kill her, bargain with the Ministry, use her as a breeding slave, I couldn't care less." he pointed at Umbridge's head and said "Ultimate Obliviation" before leaving.

Cross returned to the castle and wrote a letter before sending an owl to Rita telling het to omit his name and wait for 2 days until releasing the news. Inside the letter was everything Umbridge did at Hogwarts and her sudden disappearance when confronted by the students.

A while later

Cross was sitting in the Room of Requirement, looking at Luna's crystal. He wondered when she would wake up, he was getting lonely waiting for her. He sighed to himself and continued staring, thinking of his next plan of action.

He had to wait for Dumbledore to return and start making more moves. So he was free to practice to his heart's content.

Suddenly he heard coming from the ear he left on Hermione.

The ear changed to an eye and Cross saw the chaos in front of a portal, she wasn't in danger but Sirius was fighting with Death Eaters. Cross heard Hermione say "If we lose Sirius the order will be weakened!" he also heard a reply "But then Dumbledore's forces will be weaker than Voldemort's!"

Cross pulled over his face and a white mask appeared, he pulled up his hood and only his eyes were visible. He stood up and teleported away, disappearing from the Room of Requirement.

Cross reappeared next to Hermione in the Ministry building.

The little group of students were alarmed and Cross ignored them, stepping out as he pointed at a woman, who was saying "Avada-" her wand exploded in her hands and Cross moved forward in front of everyone.

He changed his voice and pointed at a random Death Eater as he said "Avada Kadavra." the man died instantly and fell to the ground. Everyone stopped and looked at him.

Cross held his hands together before a green sphere appeared, he separated his hands and cleansed all their minds. He pointed at Harry and his eyes glazed over before refocusing on Bellatrix and shooting a spell "Stupefy!" Bellatrix dodged and ran away, Harry chased after her.

Cross looked at the rest and said in a hoarse voice "Remember who you are. Silly puppets." before teleporting away, his job finished.

Cross sat back in the Room of Requirement and took off the mask, revealing a sinister grin.

What he gathered was that Sirius and the others that weren't Death Eaters were part of Dumbledore's forces. So he cleansed their minds and gave them a vision of Dumbledore drugging their food, brain washing their friends, planning their friends' deaths when they were no longer useful.

Cross thought it was really funny. He didn't know if any of that was true but it must not have been far from it, when Dumbledore finds out that his pawns were all gone, how will he react? Cross clicked his tongue, feeling it a pity he couldn't be there the moment he realized it.

As for Harry, he got a vision of Bellatrix killing Sirius Black. He skipped cleansing Harry's mind, because Dumbledore had many, many, fail safes in Harry. Too many to count, if Cross wanted to cleanse him, it would take days of time and effort. Honestly, Harry just wasn't worth it.

Yeah, he was a good kid, but so? Who cares about that. Not Cross that's for sure. Good, bad, it's all the same.

He sighed happily to himself feeling like he did a good job before looking at the crystal, hoping with each second that, in the next, Luna would come out.

Time quickly passed just like this.

Rita released her article, shocking the Wizards and Dumbledore was re-instated to return to Hogwarts as the Headmaster. Though with the news of Umbridge's methods, and subsequent disappearance, Dumbledore was barred from Hogwarts until the day after all the students left.
