A New Challenger Approaches!

Feng Hengkong stood up and announced "Blue Wind Nation has won first place. They, along with the Black Fiend Nation can choose 3 people to explore the Primordial Profound Ark with our Divine Phoenix Nation. That's all." before he let out a tired sigh and left.

Cross smiled happily and clapped for Yun Che, who hopped off the stage and walked over to Yuanba. Cross looked at Feng Xue'er, their eyes locked and they both disappeared.

In a hallway

Cross looked at Feng Xue'er and smiled softly as he said "Xue'er... Are you mad at me?" Feng Xue'er was silent for a few moments before sighing and shaking her head saying "I'm not.. But in the end he's still my father. I don't care about those creatures in human skin but my father isn't such a bad guy."

Cross stroked her hair softly as he said "Do you want to go see him?" Feng Xue'er hesitated for a moment, but Cross smiled as he said "You want me to come with you?" she nodded and said quickly "If you don't want to, I c-" Cross scoffed and said "Nonsense! What kind of man would I be if I let you go by yourself?"

Feng Xue'er finally relaxed and took off her veil as she giggled saying "A big bad shameless one!" Cross chuckled and Feng Xue'er tip toed before kissing him on the lips, Cross froze and she pulled back saying with a red face "Y-Y-You g-got a r-reward for st-standing up f-for me! Don't t-think about anything e-else!"

Cross touched his lips and muttered "What a reward! Maybe I should beat up the rest of your family?" Feng Xue'er burst into silver bell-like laughter, her nervousness was swept away and she felt relaxed. Cross smiled goofily and quipped "Let's go see 'Father-in-law' then."

Feng Xue'er choked and shouted angrily "Moron! What f-f-father-in-law!?! Y-You! You're a big bully! We-We're at most dating!" Cross smirked and said "Dating? Little Xue, I thought we were just friends?" Feng Xue'er blushed and said angrily "You! You! You're bullying me!"

Cross laughed and moved lightning fast, stealing a kiss from her soft lips and retreating. He licked his lips and said happily "Sweet~" Feng Xue'er's entire face was red and she stomped away muttering "Damn bully!" Cross followed along, chuckling at her cute red face.

A while later

They reached Feng Hengkong's room. Feng Xue'er knocked on the door and said "Daddy?" there was a crash and then a cough as Feng Hengkong said "Come in Feng Xue'er." Feng Xue'er sighed and walked in, Cross followed along and looked around in the room to see everything more or less broken.

Feng Hengkong saw Cross and clenched his fists in frustration, Cross didn't sit down but pursed his lips in amusement at Feng Hengkong's reaction. Feng Xue'er spoke "Daddy... Please don't be mad at Xue'er.." she was quite emotional, she still felt like she made the right decision but it was her father after all.

Feng Hengkong sighed and said "I'm not mad, Xue'er.." he looked at Cross and said "You've come to take more from me?" Cross rubbed his forehead and said "Why would I even bother coming here if not because of her. Use your brain, man." Feng Hengkong looked at Xue'er, confused, and Xue'er smiled as she said "Xue'er doesn't want Daddy out of her life forever... Even if Daddy locked Xue'er up most of the time... Xue'er... Xue'er still loves Daddy!"

She cried and hugged Feng Hengkong, who gave her a gentle smile. Cross clicked his tongue and looked away, he didn't have to like his in-laws.. If you could even call them that. He'll concede small things to his girls but serious decisions... Only in special situations. He killed two of her brothers, he felt it was fine to let Feng Hengkong in on the relationship, as for respecting him as a father-in-law.. There was no chance.

He was still a ruthless person. Feng Hengkong can be considered as a stranger, who just so happened to be one of his girls' father. He wasn't his father, so naturally he's not going to respect him. In this aspect, he and Yun Che are completely different.

Yun Che would still call him father-in-law and help him out because of Feng Xue'er, but Cross... Hehe, Feng Hengkong gets to keep his life. That's all that needs to be said.

Plus, marrying Feng Xue'er was not even a thought that crossed his mind. He liked her, but he didn't love her. It was the same for Jasmine. He wasn't collecting pretty vases, every woman he loved would stay with him until they, or he, died.

It was as simple as that, Cross didn't care whether she was the prettiest in the world or not. If he didn't like her, he didn't like her. He was very picky, had Feng Xue'er asked him to spare Feng Ximing again, he wouldn't bother with her anymore. At most they would be acquaintances. Thankfully she didn't and she even snapped back at that incest beast, which made Cross happy.

He personally didn't like girls with weak personalities, even if he did, she would get drowned by Luna and Jasmine's strong personalities and opinions, most likely becoming weak and a liability. Cross was relieved that Feng Xue'er snapped at her brother, but whether she could compete with the other two remains to be seen.

He sighed in his mind, he hoped she could. Otherwise, she would slowly be pushed farther behind by the other two and start feeling self-conscious about herself. Cross didn't want that, some might say he's cruel but he's not going to show favoritism to his girls, they all get the same amount of attention.

Actually, if Cross liked a 'mortal' girl and she had a strong personality, enough to keep up with the others, he would still love her. Even if she was weak and frail, even if she wouldn't live for as long as him, he would still care for her just the same.

Of course, he would try and extend her lifespan however he could.

Fortunately, he didn't have this problem as all his girls were supremely talented. His mind turned thinking of Feng Xue'er's Phoenix Body. It was good, she was talented but he could perhaps make it even better. It was a good theory but he needed more materials and a lot more research.

He decided to research this from now on, while following Yun Che around. That guy was super lucky, maybe he could find the things he needed.

Feng Hengkong let Feng Xue'er go and wiped her tears away with a gentle smile before turning to Cross, who seemed to be lost in thought. Feng Hengkong coughed and Cross came back saying "What." Feng Hengkong said seriously "You. I don't expect you to respect me or my wishes, therefore I won't ask anything of you."

Feng Hengkong's aura surged and he said in a tone as cold as ice "BUT! If you hurt my daughter! Even a single hair on her head! I will hurt you down and kill you! Even if I can't kill you, I will do some damage! Even if I have to die! Do you understand?"

Cross slowly smirked and said "You look much better like this. Perhaps if you were like this with your other sons, 2 of them wouldn't be dead and we would have a better relationship." Feng Hengkong just stared at him silently, Cross grinned and continued "You... You really have balls of steel. My impression of you has improved, albeit slightly.. You have my word. Even if the Gods themselves came down they wouldn't be able to hurt a hair on my little Xuexue's head."

Feng Hengkong nodded and replied "I hope so.. As for your opinion of me... I couldn't care less." Cross' grin widened and Feng Hengkong snorted, turning to Feng Xue'er with a soft smile and saying "Xue'er, you come to me if he bullies you. I will kill him."

Feng Xue'er smiled and nodded as she said "Okay!" Cross chuckled and said "Come, Xue'er. I want you to meet some people.." Feng Xue'er waved to her dad and took Cross' hand before they both disappeared.

Feng Hengkong sighed but a small smile formed on his face as he muttered "At least she's in good hands..." before looking out a window and sighing again.

Cross and Feng Xue'er teleported next to Yun Che, Cross sent Feng Xue'er into his inner world before teleporting to the Sky Poison Pearl and grabbing Luna and Jasmine as he went into his inner world.

Cross introduced Jasmine and Luna to Feng Xue'er and went fishing happily.

A while later

He was fishing on his boat, smoking, when he heard three thumps from behind him. He turned around before smiling and turning back to the lake. Feeling a weird Deja Vu. Luna sat down, Jasmine sat next to her and Feng Xue'er sat next to Cross.

Cross scratched his neck and said "I'm gonna need a bigger boat?" Luna said "No. You won't." Jasmine nodded and said "We came to an agreement." Cross casted his rod and said "Oh yeah? What's that." Feng Xue'er said firmly "No more women."

Cross coughed and dropped his cigarette, he tried to catch it in mid-air but he missed and it ended up in the lake. Cross looked at the cigarette and sighed before lighting another one and turning the one in the water to dust and they burning it, so as to not pollute his fresh lake.

Cross exhaled a mouthful of smoke as he said "You all agreed on this?" they all nodded seriously, Cross sneered and said "You think I will listen to you?" they were silent, Cross sighed after a few moments and conceded "Fine, you win. Even if she's the most beautiful girl in the entire universe I still won't like her!"

Luna and Feng Xue'er revealed happy smiles but Jasmine was forcing hers, Cross noticed and decided to ask when they were alone. He still said "Are you all getting along?" he sighed and added "If you guys fight constantly, I might just cry myself to sleep."

Luna shook her head with a smile, while Feng Xue'er giggled and Jasmine sighed a mumbled "So shameless..." Cross chuckled and said "Yes! I am the most handsome man!" Jasmine shouted "I said SHAMELESS!" Feng Xue'er added "She's right, Big brother is really too shameless. He already took advantage of me."

Luna and Jasmine gasped and glared at Cross, who turned green and said quickly "I just touched her! Xue'er tell them!" Xue'er smiled slyly and she covered her chest as she said "He... He did only touch me!" Cross was speechless and immediately shot off into the sky, cursing "Little Xuexue! I will have my revenge!"

Luna and Jasmine chased after him, while Feng Xue'er followed behind them laughing her head off.

A while later

Feng Xue'er went back to her room in the sect and Luna went to be with the kids, Cross went to the Pearl with Jasmine, intending to talk to her. He took Jasmine in his arms and laid down on her bed as he softly caressed her hair, getting satisfied purrs in response.

Cross smiled warmly and said "Jasmine... Why did you react so harshly when I said most beautiful woman in the Universe?" Cross felt Jasmine tremble, he hugged her tightly and said softly "If you don't want to talk then th-" Jasmine cut him off and said "No. It's okay, you should know anyways."

Cross fell silent and Jasmine started "You remember me talking about my brother right?" Cross nodded, naturally he remembered. Jasmine nodded and said "There's a woman, she is publicly known as the most beautiful woman in the entire God Realm. I've seen her.. Many times. The title is not wrong at all... Any man who laid his eyes on her has fallen in love immediately..."

Jasmine hesitated, before tears feel from her eyes and she said emotionally "Including my brother." Cross pulled her close to him and stroked her hair as she continued "He did everything for her, naturally he was in love with her. She could do no wrong in his eyes... He even... He even died for her! He died with a smile, happy that he sacrificed his life for that whore!"

Jasmine burst into tears and clutched Cross' shirt tightly, he had a thinking expression on his face as he consoled Jasmine with his caresses. Jasmine continued "It was her who poisoned me! She took my brother from me! I... I hate her! I want nothing more than to slaughter her and grind her bones to dust before spreading them over my brother's grave! That damn Qianye Ying'er!"

Cross smiled and said "Then we'll do it together." Jasmine looked up with her big watery eyes, Cross wiped her tears away as he said "I'll cripple her, torture her, destroy her face, shackle her mind and let her be used by everyone in the God Realm. She'll be a toy in the hands of others for the rest of her crippled life." Jasmine trembled and shed tears as she kissed him saying "Thank you..."

Cross hugged her waist and said "Anything for you." Jasmine smiled and slowly fell asleep on his chest, Cross stroked Jasmine's hair but his face was serious. It seemed like he had a tough enemy already. From what Jasmine said, this woman was most likely in the Divine Master Realm 10th level.

Cross chuckled and rubbed his forehead, he rubbed his fingers feeling sweat. He grinned like a mad man, how long has it been since he had such an enemy? The thrill of the hunt was boiling inside him once more, but this time, he has time to make preparations.

Cross chuckled like a psychopath as he muttered "Qianye Ying'er... I look forward to our game~" he licked his lips and started preparing.

FAR, FAR, FAR, AWAY

An extremely beautiful woman was laying down in a bath, her long golden hair, and perfect face and body were exposed. She suddenly felt a chill down her spine and sat up, her perfect chest, trembling. She just felt like prey being stared at by a predator, not in the sexual way! Whoever just gave her that sensation wanted her life.

She didn't sense anyone around and slowly smirked as she muttered "Someone thinks of me as prey?" she licked her lips and added "Let's see if you can play with me~" before laying back in her bath, evidently in a much better mood.
