Confrontation

Everyone took turns doing reconnaissance missions with each becoming more disgusted on each mission. "Alex when are we doing a move?" Said Jacob as he grits his teeth. "For now we need to confront these Hectic Priests. We need as much knowledge as possible on how the Apostle is doing his job we'll probably learn a weakness or two." Said Alex as he looks uneasy than usual.

Then one of the voices came to him 'Kid I have a feeling somethings wrong with you.' Alex didn't budge to reply to him 'Yeah, somethings up you're angry at this man aren't you?' Alex continued to ignore him. 'Hey don't ignore me Kid, I know what you're planning if you are I'd tell you to stop it right now. It's best you do this plan of yours first before your action.' Alex didn't talk back but he knows he's got a point since immature attacks could lead them into their demise.

As Alex and Jacob waited for the other two to come back Night was the first one to come back to their camp. "I may or may not have found a way into the chapel. I'll handle the Hectic Priests." Said Night. As Night finishes her words Elise came back with a scroll of the deep underground network of tunnels in the Chapel.

"Look what we have here. It has every way outside and inside the castle and town we can escape quickly and or find shortcuts as well." Said Jacob. "Elise when was this map made?" Said Alex. "This was one of the copies they had made recently.

The ink was freshly dried from the looks of it." Said Elise. As Alex nods to the information they've been getting. "We'll investigate more by dawn gets some rest for now everyone. There's a long day tomorrow." Said Alex as he sits down to his side of the cavern.

The next day everyone went their ways planned to learn more of the domain. Alex notices that there no title hunters here in this domain ever since they arrived here. Jacob on the other hand finds out that there's no signs of any military personnel or even guards that protect the town.

Elise finds that there used to be a market in the center of the town that has been abandoned. Night headed for the Hectic Priests to listen on their conversations that may give them important info. While around Alex notices another mass grave but the from the feeling he could felt from the air of the disgust he can smell. 'Seems like this was a mass grave for Title holders' Said the old man. Alex was confused "Wait they're all Title holders?" Said Alex to the old man voice.

'Sadly, yes these are the Title holders of this domain apparently.' As the Old man can't look at the mass grave himself he knows that all of them are innocent Title Holders. "Wait, I just realized. Old man you said all of them are Title Holders right?" Said Alex as he asks the old man. 'Yes why? Wait did something came into mind? Wait... You mean the Apostle is participating in the title hunting?' Alex nods to the old man's words.

From that Alex and the others gather as much more detailed data as they can and returned to their camp site to confront their findings and decide a plan of attack for the first part of their take down of the Apostle. "Heretic might be strong but he's not immortal like Castle. He's a hard enemy by far the first one that wouldn't go easy on us." Said Alex.

"Yes, we don't know if he's a sloppy fighter or a stiff one. From what I've found he has training sessions in the underground arena where he trains for combat. But from that I also learned that he gets distracted by his beliefs. From what I've found that is." Said Night as she gives her researched info from the Hectic Priests and their archives.

"Great job on that one Night, from what I've observe no one goes outside town. And that there's not even thieves, or other outsiders apart from us." Said Elise. "Before we proceed, I would like to tell something from what I've found out about this Domain." Said Alex as he let out a deep sigh.

"Come on buddy tell us what you've found out." Said Jacob. "I realized that there hasn't been any other Title holders like us in this domain from venturing around town I discovered a Mass grave with all of the title holders all dead there.

From what I've found out all of them are citizens here..." Said Alex. "Seriously? That's just sick." Said Jacob as he tries to not look disgusted in front of them. "I know what you feel Jacob. If we plan now and act sooner we'll stop this once and for all. But right now we don't know how strong he really is. We can't just act up without a plan anger might lead us to failure." Said Alex. "You're right we need to be fast yet careful. For now we need to at least see what the Heretic can do." Said Night.

"What day is it now?" Said Jacob. "Oh yeah today's another sacrificial week. Sad that we couldn't save this one but we need to see what does the Heretic does to the sacrificial people." Said Alex. "Couldn't agree you more on that one bud." Said Jacob. "We have to be extra careful though we're entering a densely populated area filled with worshippers and it could be a problem if we accidentally get seen." Said Elise.

"Remember we have the rings." Said Night. "For now we need a place to stay to watch." Said Alex, as they continued to discuss their plan to observe what abilities the Heretic can do. Hoping it will give them more of an advantage.
