An Example

The day of the Sacrificial Week has arrived and the team arrived quite early inside the cathedral to observe how the Apostle does his work. The Hectic Priests begin announcing the weekly sacrifice and as the cathedral gets filled with worshippers while carrying this week's sacrifice a young man. "Brothers and Sisters!

This young man had been picked to be a Title holder and you know in this country anyone bearing a Title is a candidate for our Apostle to grow his power to save us all. This young man carries the title named 'Favor' why not take advantage of this moment and use your title to satisfy our Apostle! Heretic!" As a Hectic Priest tells his sermon about the young man's title.

"My people I have arrived let us begin the ceremony!" Said Heretic as he swiftly arrives in the chapel without any trace. "Apostle Heretic, the floor is all yours." As the Priest hands out the boy to the Apostle as they laid out the young boy to the table with a bag over his head.

"We shall give another example, another step for us to reach our goal of reaching nirvana!" Said Heretic as he prepares his knife for the sacrifice, he removes the bag that covers the kid's face. Alex was a bit shocked but he doesn't know the reason why he was shocked. His voices came to talk. 'Kid calm down I may or may not know that kid... He has a title from a person whom I used to work with.' Said the middle man.

'You mean Favor? Then what are we doing here idling? Shouldn't we save him?' Said the young man. 'No, do you want to die or something?' said the old man. Confused from the argument that the voices he listens too conflicted that he sees images of the past about that title on that kid. "Screw it." Said Alex as he removes his ring and jumps down to interfere.

While the other three was caught off guard by Alex's actions and was surprised and followed him "I don't know what you're doing Alex but I'm not letting you alone there." Said Jacob.

"What in the world is this madness!" Said Heretic as he was surprised by the Alex's intervention as he lays his axe targeted directly at Heretic. "I won't let you lay a finger on this young boy." Said Alex in a unusually deep voice.

"That voice? That Axe?! Guards! Get these heathens off the holy sanctum of me!" Said Heretic as he leaves immediately as guards pouring in. "Wow, never thought there were guards." Said Elise. "These are not human guards from the looks of it." Said Night as the followers panic escapes the chapel as the four get surrounded by the guards.

"Kid you okay?" Said Alex to the kid as he tries to shake him off to regain his consciousness the Kid nods. "Okay then Kid keep your head down and keep close to us." Said Jacob. "You'll be fine with us!" Said Elise. "Alex whatever you planned scared Heretic away." Said Night. "What I didn't expect him to be scared of me just from our first encounter." Said Alex as they fight around the guards protecting the kid circling him.

After taking down the Guards they wore their rings and carried the kid to escape to their hideout base. "What I don't get right now is why the Apostle ran away from us. Shouldn't he be the strongest one in this land?" Said Jacob while they're discussing this the kid they save eating some soup and is listening to their conversation.

"Why was he questioning your axe Alex?" Said Night. "Seems like he knows your title or something." Said Elise as Elise finishes speaking the kid whom was eating before finishes and said. "I know why he was scared. You have His title Mr. Alex." Said the kid. "How do you know that?" Said Alex. "My name is Pat, and my title has history with yours Mr. Alex. Though I cannot reveal your title Mister I could tell you about your predecessor." Said Pat.

"Well how can we trust on what you're saying." Said Night. "Miss Night you should know this already. If so just follow me I have something for you guys to know." Said Pat.

"What a weird time for us to meet then since I don't know person you were referring that was my precursor." Said Alex. "I already planned that meeting to be honest Mr. Alex." Said Pat. "Wait you planned that?" Said Jacob. "I could fight Heretic right there. He might be an Apostle but he's weak against the people he use to know." Said Pat. "Isn't this a bit convenient to be your base?" Said Night.

"Don't worry Miss Night they can't leave the city anyways were 100% safe here." Said Pat. As they enter a wrecked house Pat opens a hatch under a couch that leads to another underground area. "This place used to be very clean until the reformation of the Apostles ruined the environment in somewhat their way. My predecessor used to be a Apostle Candidate but he never succeeded onto becoming an Apostle." Said Pat.

"What was the Reformation?" Said Jacob. "It was during the 2nd Apostle war fighting for land before our current time." Said Night. "So about my Precursor how do you know him?" Said Alex. "He used to live here." Said Pat, after what Pat said Alex remembered something while he was in the Ocean of Agony.

"Anyways welcome to my base." Said Pat as he opens the lights and they were surprised how sophisticated his base is compared to theirs. "Lot's of tech from the ancient times." Said Jacob. "Now Alex I have something that he left for you to use follow me here." Said Pat as Alex follows him while the others relax by the lounge area.

"This was one of his weapons that can be handed down for his future successor Mr. Alex you have to use it against Heretic." Said Pat as a weapon emerges from the wall of the room they're in. "It's a weapon made for hunting Apostles. The Vanquish."
