Chapter 6: Sorry

"I bet that guy was just doing it because he was told to do so," Mi doubt that the guy that brought her home was nice. No one was nice to her so what's so what's so different about him. Mi believed Ray was just ordered to go get her which is true, but Ray did not have any negative feelings about her heck he even thought Mi was pretty.

Mi walked up to her closet and randomly picked out something and wore it. She was still very tired, so she didn't really have a clue what she just wore and headed out of her room.

As she was walking down stairs, there were eyeballs from maids and servants glued at her.

"Is that really our young miss?" a maid whispered to another.

"Umm..." the other maid was still staring in disbelief.

Mi was too tired to notice the stares and continue to walk to the ground floor. She headed to the dining table and sat in her normal seat. Few minutes later, a few servants came over with breakfast that Mi's mother made and placed it in front of her.

On the table there was a bowl of white rice, cauliflower mixed eggs green onion, chicken feet, and potato soup. Mi made herself a pair of black chopsticks and started eating. Traditionally Mi should wait for the elders to eat first but, in her home most of the time they want Mi to eat first because they want her to grow up big and strong.

"What's the special occasion your planning to go today," Mi's mother said when she saw how beautiful her daughter is today.

"What do you mean Ma...," Mi suddenly paused after noticing everyone staring at her before she looked at what she was wearing. She was wearing a bright light blue robe covered with silver flowers.

"Don't panic, it looks nice on you," her mother said knowing that Mi would freak-out.

"I'm fine... it's just my head hurts..." Mi decided just to go with it even though she was so confused.

"Would you like to change my young miss," a maid asked.

"No need, but I would like to have something to cover myself with when I head out," Mi replied. She felt lazy to change and decided to cover herself to stay hidden when going out.

Mi gobbled everything on her plate which her mother which made her mother laugh. Mi barely ate anything yesterday which made her hungry. After she was done eating she first when into the kitchen and washed her chopsticks before reattaching back with the rest of her hair then headed outside with a cloak covering her robe and her hair and headed towards the forest.

There was a river near by the village that Mi really liked. She often visits the place because it was calm and quiet. Once she was there she sat by the river side staring into the water watching the fish swimming up stream.

Moments later she noticed a JinLi (Koi fish) tangled in a net on her side of the river. She hurried over to the side the bank and gently held the fish with her right hand and untangle the net with her left. After the net was off she threw it to the side and immediately released the fish from her hands.

Mi was a bit angry that there were people leaving nets around and not picking them up after they were done. She knew that fishing couldn't be helped but leaving things in the river making the fishes suffer was something she could not stand.

Watching the fish back on the journey up the river Mi decided to follow along just in case there were more nets. After a while she felt the fishes should be find after seeing there were no other nets around and sat down to enjoy the scenery.

"Oh?! Hey, Pretty girl!" a group of guys walking down river saw Mi. Mi currently had a light blue cloak, so the guys did not see her black hair otherwise they would be running away.

"You got to be kidding me..." the moment Mi heard their voices, she got up and started to walk the opposite direction.

"Where are you going," the group of guys trying to catch up to her.

Mi gritted her teeth and said to herself, "The moment you see my hair, you would not call me pretty anymore."

One of the guys finally caught up to her and pull off her hood, and then the guy's eyes turn big. Mi immediately made a pair of daggers and used the end of one to jab the guy in stomach. Then she kicked him into the river.

The other guys saw Mi and ran leaving their friend behind. Mi finally calmed down after hurting someone since it just helps release stress. After watching the others ran she then turned and look at the guy in the river.

"You really don't like people don't you," Ray said laughingly and then sigh to himself, "Why did I get myself talked into chasing girls with those guys."

"What does it matter to you," Mi huffed seeing the guy not afraid of her, but in the end the guy was genially not even taking her seriously.

"Aren't girls supposed to be gentle," Ray started laughing but then shouted, "ow, ow., oh wow you really hurt." Ray said holding his stomach in pain.

Mi looked at him and started to feel bad, so she walked over and grabbed him out of the water. Then she said, "Sorry..."

"All good, I was the idiot that did this to himself," Ray knew he was the one wrong, so it isn't her that should be apologizing.

"Oh yea, by the way you look amazing with that robe on you," Ray said when he noticed what she was wearing under her cloak.

Mi on the other hand looked at herself realized her cloak came loose and exposed her robe...
