MEETING

At the conference room

Alfred: Everyone one in this room present I want to thank you for honoring our invite so I will get straight to the point today Diana came up with a good proposition that might suit your interest.

Shareholder one; I hope it won't be something that will make us regret.

Alfred: If you doubt her proposition how about she explains it herself . Diana please come forward and explain yourself.

Diana: I would prefer Alfred do it because he is CEO and it is his responsibility to explain to the shareholders about his subordinates work.

Shareholder 2 : I must say where Santana left he surely replaced his mini self but the difference between the two is that this one is likely to be smarter than him.

Alfred: Well yesterday I met up with Diana and she came up with an idea of investing in the condo business since we are already dealing in real estate and roofing and the success rate is 100 % considering the fact that we already made a name as HL company and also the existence of funds.

Shareholder 2 : The mentioned few aspects are so correct but I want to ask who amongst us has expertise in that line of business to keep that line of business flourishing?

Diana: I expected this question but if you do not mind how about you entrust me with the role of ensuring the success of the new project.

Shareholder 3: I am of the view that you employ my son in line with the architectural designs for he has an experience of 10 years and he has so far worked for 10 big projects that are in government and gauging on the performance I can strongly say he will be a very big asset for such a company.

Shareholder 2: Are you talking about your son Micheal Light?

Shareholder 3: Yes please.

Shareholder 2: If that is him then I will fully vote for this project.

Shareholder 3: Thanks.

Shareholder 1: I am quite familiar with Michael and I have no doubt in his performance so as long as he exists in the business it's success is guaranteed.

Alfred: This means the proposal is dependent on Michael is it?

Shareholder 1: Technically.

Alfred: Diana do you have any problem working with Michael as the architectural consultant?

Diana: How can I have a problem with someone without working with him?

Alfred: Okay, that means this is a a done deal.

Diana: Precisely.

Shareholder 1: Looking forward to seeing the works of this new generation I assume we make a theme of old versus young and let us see which of the two groups is best.

Share holder 2: You know,I can't wait to see their performance because we are old and they are the young.

Everybody in the room is excited as a new project has come along board and with that everybody exits.

Diana: Mr. Light, I am requesting for Michael's number.

Light: Oh see for yourself.

Diana: Your efforts are much appreciated.

Light: Your welcome.

Diana: Please don't forget to inform him that there is quite an arrogant woman that will be first in his inbox to introduce herself to him on Whatsapp and once all is done a plan will be made via call and all formal communication shall be done by mail.

Light: No worries I got you covered.

Diana and her husband walk to their elevators and then each goes to their offices to resume daily work.

After the party, both Connor and Alexa sleep over in the hospital while taking care of their daughter Imelda Sanchez and thereafter in the morning, Connor decides to drive Alexa with him to his work place so as to introduce her slightly to his world so as Incase of any emergencies,she has a way to find him .

Connor:How was your night?

Alexa: It was hospital scented.

Connor: I had a discussion with the doctor in regards to her condition and he is certain that their was no serious injury imposed on her head and she mentioned that the child will be discharged by end of day .

Alexa: You take the role of a father so seriously I must say am impressed.

Connor: Thanks, this is the first genuine comment I have had from a lady that is my wife.

Alexa: You are yet to receive more for every accomplishment made.

Connor: Are there other gifts other than mouth watering lies .

Alexa: Be specific and yes, don't ask for unreachable things.

Connor: Oh no everything is going to be reachable depending on how you see it.

Alexa : Will see.

Connor: I am thinking we meet up with the matron and try to get the formalities of adoption done so we take our first born daughter home .

Alexa: Do you mean right now?

Connor: Of course.

Alexa: Doesn't adoption take something like one and a half years to two?

Connor: Yes it does but once we prove we are clean and ofcourse with connections we can do it within three months.

Alexa: Okay so where does Imelda stay?

Connor: Leave that to me to worry about.

Alexa; Okay.

Connor calls the matron and a meeting is scheduled between the two at the orphanage and once all is broken down and proven that Imelda is eligible for adoption, all the necessary certificates in regards to Imelda 's both are got as well as a marriage certificate presented to the matron to guarantee Imelda 's safety .

The matron goes ahead to introduce them recommend a good lawyer who will be able to quicken their process of being parents in the high court.

Both Alexa and Connor are so pleased and once they walk out of the orphanage, they are so happy and pass by a restaurant to get some food as well as some clothes so as to keep their daughter smart and befitting for her new name she is yet to be called whoch is Imelda Sanchez Connor.
