Chapter 57 "Internal Fights"

"Loki took our Tesseract, and you can't take him away. He needs to be taken by S.H.I.E.L.D." Standing beside him, Nick Fury used his one eye to gaze directly into Thor.

S.H.I.E.L.D. didn't know what happened in New Mexico and, of course, didn't know Thor because of Rorschach. S.H.I.E.L.D. looked into Loki's identity, but was unable to uncover anything, leading Nick Fury to think that this is another extraterrestrial invasion initially.

Up until now, Thor's appearance had strengthened in this moment. The only distinction is that this stranger appears to be a person from a certain mythology.

"My younger brother Loki is first and foremost an Asgardian. You are not permitted to question him. I'll be held accountable for all the harm Loki did to Midgard." Thor tapped his chest and said.

Thor wouldn't have wanted to talk to these people at all and would have instead taken Loki back to Asgard if it weren't for Rorschach and the others who gave him the impression that the inhabitants of Midgard were powerful.

Black Widow in the driver's seat intervened at this point after observing Thor's reluctance to cooperate, "He killed 80 people in two days,"

"Well, he was adopted." Thor explained.

No matter how significant the situation was while he was in New Mexico in the past, there were never any casualties and just one Destroyer armor was lost. Loki slaughtered 80 people just two days after he arrived on Earth.

When Thor first received the news, he thought 'It's over.' as Rorschach is unlikely to let this slide.

"You have no right to do that, even if Loki is to blame. I only have faith in your Midgard gods." Thor had another plan.

"Gods?"

"Ah... mortal, you don't even know the existence of your gods."

Thor laughed a lot, but he was even less sure because he couldn't help but think that Rorschach could have muttered something along the lines of "follow the law."

Nick Fury promised that finding the Tesseract should be the top priority on earth before handing Loki's trial over to Asgard after noticing the shift in Thor's mindset. This is regarded as a compromise.

Thor was hesitant at first, but he eventually brought Loki and the S.H.I.E.L.D. back to the Helicarrier.

The gods on earth must be contacted as soon as possible because this is no longer something that mortals can handle. Rorschach is mentioned by Thor. S.H.I.E.L.D. However, they disregarded Thor's cues and continued to emphasize to him that there are no gods on Earth.

"This is no longer something you mortals can handle, so why don't you find out about that damned Tesseract right away, and then I'll figure out how to get rid of that Chitauri army?" Thor asked.

The others were outraged that Thor belittled them, and Tony felt insulted by it.

At this point, Dr. Banner expressed uncertainty "With the exception of the Stark Industries Arc Reactor, where only Osborn remains, the world can attain energy self-sufficiency. Loki recently defeated Director Fury and employed magic to develop the energy reactor. Director Fury has no intention of introducing their group's controlled nuclear fusion project into the Tesseract."

Captain America and Agent Carter immediately began to mistrust Nick Fury after reading this. Soon, Captain America went straight to the S.H.I.E.L.D.'s classified archives in pursuit of the energy weapon Hydra had left behind.

In fact, he became aware that there are other lives in the universe after seeing the Kree and Skrull invasion in the 1990s. The plan to create weapons of mass destruction utilizing the Tesseract has always existed.

The development of Iron Man, the clash between the Hulk and the Abomination in the streets of New York, the introduction of physical enhancement drugs, and the appearance of Osborn Group Terminator robots have all occurred in recent years despite the project having been placed on pause for a while.

Nick Fury was able to resume his work on deadly weaponry as a result. In order for S.H.I.E.L.D. to be able to uphold international peace, it should also be referred to in a euphemistic manner. This sparked another wild brawl among the entire team.

The fact that Loki hardly ever utilized magic to manipulate the mind scepter while he was imprisoned on the Helicarrier caused the whole Avengers team to become wary of one another.

"Although it is unfortunate that the bug is absent, it means that this is going to be go smoothly. I'll let the bug experience firsthand what it feels like to be tramped upon and ravaged when I call forth the Chitauri army."

Loki continued to use the mind scepter to distort everyone's mind while grinning condescendingly.

Along with the sky carrier, Loki controlled Hawkeye, used the mind scepter's frequency to lock down the location of the sky carrier, and directed other S.H.I.E.L.D. agents to assault them.

On the other side.

Precisely when chaos reigned throughout the Helicarrier. The top floor of Stark Tower is where Rorschach first emerged. All of the controlled researchers and S.H.I.E.L.D. operatives were seized by Rorschach prior to the Tesseract being activated.

"It is very sad. The wormhole generator ended up being on the Stark Industrial Building, contrary to my expectations that Loki would place it on the Osborn Building this time."

In Rorschach's opinion, Loki ought to be more motivated to perform retribution on himself. But if you look at it another way, Loki must have wanted to get as far away from Rorschach as he could be before he called the Chitauri army to his side.

Loki was unaware that Rorschach had been observing him ever since he arrived at the Dark Matter Energy Research Institute. Merely anticipating Loki's action on the S.H.I.E.L.D Helicarrier. Sitwell can only take over S.H.I.E.L.D. and utterly impeach Nick Fury in this manner.

"What is this, Mr. Rorschach?"

Standing next to Rorschach was a middle-aged man with fluffy hair and small circular sunglasses. Dr. Otto Octavius is the octopus in charge of producing controllable nuclear fusion.

"This device is a wormhole generator, which can open a gateway to a certain space in the depths of the cosmos, and the core energy inside this device is the Tesseract," Rorschach said, turning to look at Dr. Octavius standing next to him.

Dr. Octavius has also heard a little bit about the Tesseract.

Hydra creates numerous energy weapons using the Tesseract in the Captain America plot. Before that, a lot of people believed that the Tesseract was really a hoax. Dr. Octavius didn't truly believe in the story until he witnessed it with his own eyes. The Tesseract does exist.
