Kitchen Beginnings

As the young man's soul left his body, he found himself floating in a strange, otherworldly realm. He had no idea how he had arrived here, but he was greeted by a wise old man who informed him that he was to be reincarnated into a cultivation sect.

The young man, whose name was Lin Xiao, was excited at the prospect of gaining magical powers and becoming a powerful cultivator, but his excitement quickly turned to confusion when he was told that he would be starting off as a lowly kitchen boy.

"Kitchen boy?!" Lin Xiao exclaimed. "But I'm supposed to be a powerful cultivator!"

The old man chuckled. "Don't worry, my boy. Every great cultivator must start from the bottom. You never know what valuable lessons and experiences you may gain from working in the kitchen."

Lin Xiao reluctantly accepted his new role, but couldn't help feeling disappointed as he was led to the sect's kitchen. He couldn't help but wonder if he was destined to spend the rest of his life peeling potatoes and washing dishes.
