2: Life on Earth and Meeting Her

It has been a long few years since the Eternals arrived in Earth. They have helped mankind to evolve and develop throughout the years. The Eternals then became a family well some of them. Orion got close to Gilgamesh, Kingo, Sprite, Sersi and Makkari. He treated them like his siblings. He and Druig had their talks and when it comes to food, they are the duo. Orion trains with Thena when he doesn't have anything to do when there are no Deviants to kill and the warrior goddess respected on how well he fights.

Well all that's left is Ikaris, Ajak and Phastos. Ikaris and Orion. The two had a rivalry as the two had similar abilities. But Ikaris would lose in terms of strength since except Gilgamesh and him, Orion has superior strength than all of them. He would also disagree with Orion when Orion would interfere with the humans and that leads to fights the others had to stop. Ajak became some sort of an older sister to him since he would come to her for advices.

In Phastos' case, the two would chat here and there if Phastos wasn't busy designing or making something. Over all, they are cool with each other.

Now we see Orion inside the Domo in casual clothes as they are flying to their next location. Babylon. Without his suit, Orion is fairly skinned man with toned muscular physique like Ikaris. He has black hair that was slid back (like Vergil) and piercing blue eyes. He was just listening to Phastos rambling about something.

"And that's about it." Phastos finishes as Kingo and Orion looked at each other.

"Are you sure this is a great idea Phastos?" Orion asked.

"Of course. It will help them hunt." Phastos replied.

"You don't think it's a little early for that." Orion said as Kingo agreed.

"I mean I didn't plan to help them make it yet but in the future." He answered.

"Well it's a great invention if I have to say." Sersi said as she came walking in.

"Thank you Sersi. See that's why you're my favorite." Phastos said making the two.other Eternals fake a hurt expression.

"That's a low blow Phastos." Orion joked as she put a hand on his heart. If he ever had one since they are synthetic beings.

"Funny Orion." Phastos shot back.

"Well what Orion said is true. It is a wonderful invention Phastos but it's a little bit early." Ajak walked in. "Everyone, we have arrived."

They saw Babylon the largest city from the window of the Domo. Everyone else arrived as Ajak turned towards them. "There are many Deviants around the area as they tend to hunt here because of the large population of the city. That's why when we arrive, the fighters will keep them outside the city while the others protect the humans inside."

"Copy Ajak." Ikaris nodded.

"Oh look at Mr. Leader in charge." Orion teased standing at the back with Gilgamesh and Kingo who were holding their laughter.

Sersi also giggled as Ikaris can only stare at his fellow Eternal. "This is not the time to joke around Orion."

"Yeah you're right, sorry." Orion did a funny salute making Ajak shook her head in amusement.

"We have arrived. Get ready." They all nodded and went to equip their suits.

A little girl was walking around the forest carrying a basket of fruits. She then heard the bushes rustle as she stop from her tracks and walked towards the bush. As she got close, the Deviant slowly walked out making the girl squeal in fear and fell back. The Deviant slowly walked towards the crying girl and then jumped towards her ready for the kill. Only to be blasted by a beam of cosmic energy pushing it back towards a tree. The girl heard footsteps and turned back to see Orion in his Eternal suit with his fist outstretched and glowing golden. He then kneeled down as the girl stared at him in amazement.

"Don't worry. You are safe now." Orion said in ancient Babylonian.

The Deviant got back up and rushed at the Eternal but Orion just grabbed it by the snout, pry it open before putting his fist towards it's mouth and blasting the Deviant's insides with his cosmic beams disintegrating it to ash. He turned back towards the girl lifting her up.

"Let's get you to safety." He then flew up and fly towards the city where everyone were fighting the other Deviants.

Orion flew inside the city where Sersi and the others were helping the humans to safety. She saw Orion floated down and rushed towards them.

"I'll take her." She said.

"Thanks Sersi." She nodded and took the girl.

Orion flew back to the battlefield and saw the others killing the other Deviants with ease. He saw a flying Deviant and charged towards it grabbing it's wings before pulling them apart and blasting the Deviant with his cosmic beams. He flew down and punched a Deviant away who was about to kill a human. He turned towards the human and it was a beautiful Asian woman with long silky black hair that was covered by the hood she is wearing. He was confused as to why would a woman like her is doing here but her safety is more important.

"You should get to safety. I'll hold them off."

He spoke in Babylonian but comes after shocked him.

"Thank you." The woman spoke in English before running away.

Orion just stood there confused as to how is that possible. "Say what now?"

He was then cut off from his confusion when he hit and went through multiple houses before skidding to a stop. He slowly got up and saw a large gorilla like Deviant pounding it's chest.

"Lucky shot." He flew towards the Deviant like a bullet cracking the ground.

The Deviant also charged towards him and went for a punch but Orion went to side and delivered an over head punch towards the Deviant. The Deviant was big but it was also very slow so Orion dodges every strike and would counter with his own. His punches would cave in on the Deviant's body because of how strong they are. He decided to end the fight by jumping back and rushing back again with his glowing fist reeled back. When he got close, he threw his fist forward punching the Deviant on it's chest and released a powered blast that not only killed the Deviant but also destroyed what was behind it. He was just lucky that they are no humans in the area. He composed himself as his fist was smoking from the attack.

"That was powerful as I thought it would be." He then floated up and fly towards the others who just got done killing the last one. Orion landed beside Ikaris who stared at him and smirked.

"What took you so long?" he asked.

"I fought something bigger that all of you earlier. That's why I took so long." Orion answered.

"That was you?! With the big blast?!" Kingo asked surprised.

"Yup. Didn't know it would be that strong though." Orion replied.

They have protected yet another city and now, all they need is help. But Orion can't take his mind of about the beautiful woman he met and saved earlier. There is something about her thatade him curious. It's like his cosmic energy started to go haywire when they met.

'Who is she?' He asked in his thoughts.
