Chapter 82 - Tomb

Once Xiao Yu saved the people who fell into the water and took the Red Pearl from the Zombie Jiao Dragons head. She returned; Miyuki didn't stay here. She gestured for Xiao Yu to follow her and left the place.

Few seconds after they left, people started to wake up one by one,

"What happened...?"

"I think I fell asleep..."

"feels so weird."

"Fuck!!" A red hair boy; who was fighting the dragon stood up cursing, one second, he was fighting the dragon, and in the next, he lay near the lake.

What shocked him; even more was that Zombie Jiao Dragon was floating on water. It also started to slowly wake up.

*Roar* The Zombie Jiao Dragon roared and dived back in the water.

Some distance away from the lake,

Xiao Yu was heavily breathing with some sweat on her face, "what did you do?" Although a bit tired, she was very curious about what Miyuki did.

Miyuki smiled mysteriously, "just a little trick."

Xiao Yu shook her head, knowing she can't get an answer, she took the red pearl, "here, this is for you!"

Miyuki looked at the red pearl, lost in thought. She shook her head, "let it be; we have all reached the Peak of Legend Rank. We don't really need it."

Xiao Yu nodded before taking the Red Pearl; she knew it wasn't of any use to that has reached the peak of Legend Rank.

Just then, Miyuki made a surprise expression before looking in a particular direction.

Her change in the expression made Xiao Yu curious since Miyuki rarely faltered, "something the matter?"

A bright smile appeared on Miyuki's face; her face was shining, "He is here."

Ning'Er was astounded after hearing that; an excited expression appeared on her face.

"He? as in Tatsuya?" she heard about Tatsuya from the reports, but also from Ziyun and others. She couldn't wait to meet him.

It didn't take long before they felt the presence of a few people coming towards them.

Miyuki looked at Tatsuya, who had become taller in the past three months; although he still had some childish look on his face, he looked much more handsome than before. Seeing his piercing dark blue eyes always took her breath away.

Before she even realized it, she was walking towards him. She put her arms on his before raising her toes and kissing his lips. She hugged him; in a tight grip, putting her head on his shoulder.

Tatsuya wrapped his hand around her; all sound seemed to have ceased. Light surrounding them glowed.

After a while, Tatsuya broke the silence by whispering, "next time, try not to go anywhere without me."

"I don't want to go anywhere without you."

Tatsuya wanted to ask why she did this time but didn't.

He slowly pulled away; every second that he was close to her, Tatsuya desired her more. He wanted to kiss her, taste her, smell her. He pulled away because he wasn't sure that he would be able to keep control.

He took a deep breath before looking at Xiao Yu, "your friend?"

Xiao Yu was stunned after such sudden attention; it would be a lie if she said she wasn't touched by the sweet moment they were having.

Miyuki was still holding Tatsuya's arms, trying to stick as close to him as she could, "this is Young Master Xiao Yu, he saved Ning'Er and Ziyun when they got lost."

Tatsuya looked at Xiao Yu strangely, "young master?"

Miyuki chuckled, "yes, young master."

Hearing Tatsuya and Miyuki's interaction, Xiao Yu couldn't help but feel weird. She had a feeling, they knew that she was a girl, but that should be impossible.

At this moment, Xiao Ning'Er could hold back any longer; she went forward and tightly hugged Tatsuya, "Tatsuya!"

Miyuki looked at him with expectant eyes as if asking to praise her.

A small blush appeared on Miyuki's face before she smiled sweetly while looking at Tatsuya.

"Now, with the reunion done and all, why are we here?" Shen Xiu interrupted after seeing that Ziyun and Tatsuya had also talked after three months.

Tatsuya nodded while looking toward an interior area in Nine-Layered Deathlands, "there is something there that is attracting me?"

Miyuki tilted her head in surprise, "attracting you?"

Tatsuya nodded in confirmation; for some reason, his bloodline was carving whatever was in there. He felt getting that thing might be a key to stimulate his bloodline powers.

Although his bloodline was empty, that meant something different.

It contained only passives granted by the bloodline, higher control of soul energy, power to manipulate souls of objects, high-speed regeneration, ability to control spiritual pressure, and much more.

It didn't give him any active abilities that were unique to individuals. Even without those, it gave him too much.

The last time it was stimulated, it gave him the power that allowed him to bring out the power of souls, a fullbring.

From what he was able to figure out from all the items from the system store about the fullbringers, they control and bring out powers within physical matters.

It's just that they could only bring out powers of items precious to them, or they have a high affinity to. In Tatsuya's case, he didn't need to have anything like that.

He summarized that it must be related to his incomplete psyche or the fact; he didn't have any attachment to things like those.

He could bring out of power from any physical object to the point; he even treated himself as a physical object to bring out Bahamut's powers.

He was looking forward to what the bloodline would bring him this time.

Xiao Yu looked towards the direction that Tatsuya was looking at with an intrigued look in her eyes.

She didn't know what was in that direction, but it didn't stop her curiosity from running wild. Something in the Nether Realm was attracting Tatsuya. She wanted to know what it was.

Tatsuya and others started walking in that direction; Xiao Yu chose to follow behind. Tatsuya and Miyuki also didn't stop her.

When they reached the interior of the first floor of Nine-Layered Deathlands, the air trembled.

Sounds of fighting filled their ears,

Everyone became alert after hearing these sounds; they started walking carefully.

They reached a large barren open area; littered with skeletons on the floor.

Above those skeletons was a tomb floating in the sky. On the roof of the tomb were piles of human skeletons. The walls were filled with all kinds of detailed inscription patterns, infused with a sinister and terrifying aura.

Even above that, a giant figure quietly floated. It was a giant skeleton with sharp bone spikes growing all over its entire body. The bone spikes would change into wings or armor occasionally. Endless quantities of Law Energy revolved around the creature.

About fifty to sixty demigods were fighting it.

"What is that?" Ziyun asked. This tomb surprised everyone; this was the first time they saw something this big, other than Tatsuya. They knew that the Nether Realm was dangerous because of families and it's secret. But, this caught him off guard. If Tatsuya wasn't there, then something like this could destroy Glory City.

But, something like this was on the first floor of the Nine Layered Deathlands.

"Tatsuya, is that what is attracting you?" Yang Xin looked at the skeleton with interest.

Tatsuya nodded while looking at the tomb, "it's that tomb."

"not the skeleton?"

Tatsuya glanced at Shen Xiu, who asked before replying, "that is just an illusion."

"that is an illusion!!!"

"it looks so real!!"

"shouldn't those people who are fighting realize that it is an illusion?"

"It's a very intricate illusion, at different distances, you will be affected by the illusion differently, from here it is like watching a mirage. Go near it would start controlling your sense. They think they are fighting it; even their injuries to them feel real, and what they are feeling is being projected as a mirage. So, we think they are getting injured." Miyuki explained.

Xiao Yu looked astounded; she didn't realize that was an illusion, but Tatsuya and Miyuki could tell the difference in one go. Not only that, they even figured out the mechanics.

Suddenly, she felt a chill go down her spine; was it possible that they knew of her disguise.

"Miyuki will go with me to explore inside first, wait outside, keep an eye for Yu Yan while waiting," Tatsuya said.

Yang Xin patted her breasts, shaking them, "don't worry, I will take care of them."

Tatsuya nodded towards Shen Xiu and Duan Jian; as if telling them to take care of Yang Xin and others. After all, Yang Xin has been out of control ever since she stepped out of Glory City.

"I am also coming with you." Xiao Yu was worried that they might have seen her disguise, but there were still things she wanted to know.
