Chapter 158 - Approaching the End(6) - The Armor!

Leviathan, Shiva, Ifrit, Ramuh, Titan were floating around and protecting the sphere of data Tatsuya was in.

There were sound and shockwaves of the two colliding all around. Miyuki and Sage Emperors' powers pushed them back apart. Miyuki managed to anchor herself in the air. Even the small ripples caused by them destructive enough to destroy mountains.

"Heavenly Strike!"

A gigantic meteor of ice appeared above Sage Emperor, coming down with great power, seeking to destroy Sage Emperor.

"It's futile!" Sage Emperor waved the greatsword in his hand, completely obliterating the meteor before it reached him.

Sage Emperor looked towards Miyuki and slashed his sword producing enormous fire, seeking to destroy everything in its path.

"Freezing Flame!" Miyuki's freezing flame was magic that froze fire on a conceptual level. Even after turning it to combat arts, it could freeze any fire, even if not on a conceptual level.

Sage Emperor grunted after his flames were frozen. He kicked the ground and propelled himself forward to attack Miyuki. He felt disgruntled since the woman was pushing him to the edge. For a long time, no one had done that.

He couldn't rely on those six useless things since they were half frozen. Their powers were severely limited, to the point that Jin Yan was enough to fight against them.

The inner layer had an entirely black skinsuit that served purposes like adjusting moister, regulating heat, protecting the muscles, adjusting pressure, even had an inbuild CAD. Although CAD was not useful in this world.

The outer shell was created from a material that could rival even Godslayer Artifacts would find hard to tear apart. It looked different than the armor others wore in this world. It was much more futuristic in design, look, or functions.

She opened her palm as a sword formed near her hand. It was a silver crystal katana, giving an impression of frozen snow... it seemed almost delicate.

Miyuki slashed the white katana towards the Greatsword Sage Emperor was wielding. The moment it touched the greatsword, the greatsword that was a divine artifact was cut like butter. No, it was more than just cut... it died.

Sage Emperor stepped back as he looked at the sword, "You wield the law of death." He stared at the woman, to think she wielded such a dangerous law. Artifacts or armors were useless against her.

He took out the three pages of the Temporal Demon Spirit Book. The three of them started connecting to each other with golden energy. They formed a triangular, incomplete array as they floated on top of Sage Emperor's head.

He rose up in the air, more and more inscription array started forming with Temporal Demon Spirit Book.

"Extinguish!" His voice resounded in the air. A wave carried his voice; everything that his voice touched seemed to lose its power. Miyuki's armor and sword fluctuated, cracked in places. Yu Yan, who had been fighting the six generals, was hit by the wave. Her armor disappeared in the thin air; not only her, the ice and powers covering their bodies disappeared.

Yu Yan took some distance from the generals and summoned more shadow clones to keep them at bay. Her eyes turned to Sage Emperor, covered with light from the array.

"Miyuki..." She was worried, although the sphere surrounding Tatsuya was half the size it was before. But, it would still take time, which seemed to have put Sage Emperor at the edge. To think he would use the pages so soon in the battle.

'I'll be fine...focus on battle.' Miyuki's voice resounded in her head.

Miyuki glared towards the Sage Emperor. Cocytus's branches shook as it released a white fog covering her armor and sword, repairing them.

"Revive!"

Another shockwave emerged from the Sage Emperor; everywhere it tried to restore what was destroyed by Amalgamation and Tatsuya. But, nothing happened. He wanted to revive his subordinates using the power of time, but it seemed they were killed and erased to the point time couldn't resurrect them.

Inside the helmet, he had a disgruntled look on his face. To think even time couldn't revive them. That thing truly was dangerous.

Miyuki didn't give Sage Emperor any more time to do anything. She sprang up in the air to attack the sage emperor.

Multiple shockwaves were creating as she reached near and nearer.

"Restrain!"

Suddenly, her body stopped in mid-air with her sword face towards the Sage Emperor.

Sage Emperor floated down to her level, floating in front of her, "Submit to me, and I will let you live. Even give the honor to serve me."

His force had been destroyed, and he needed someone to protect him for the next two hundred years. As he devoured Heavenly Dao and took control of Draconic Ruins Realm.

A white fog covered Miyuki, releasing her from the bond. She cut Sage Emperor, who pulled back, his helmet shattered in pieces.

Miyuki widened her eyes... when she saw the face behind it, "...you...it's you..." Although the appearance was different, those eyes were different. She recognized the soul.

She stepped back while Sage Emperor repaired his helmet growling.

Miyuki stared at him, "So it turned out to be you. So be it, I won't hold back."

"Quibbling won't help you!! You insects should just die!!" Sage Emperor shouted in his loudest voice. He was tired of this farce... how dare these ants to dare to hurt him.

With the Sage Emperors, shout even the void inside the Ancestral Demonic Saint Land began to shake. His voice caused a storm not only in the Ancestral Demonic Saint Land. It shook half of Draconic Ruins Realm.

Just a bit more, and he would have Heavenly Dao under his rule. The whole Draconic Ruins Realm and three thousand worlds would be under him. He could finally reach the place that he saw. The world from where the book came from. These realms, these people, were immaterial to that.

"Fade!!!Decay!!!Rot!!!Die!!"

Miyuki widened her eyes; she raised her hand and pointed at the front, "Cocytus, protect them!!"

Cocytus's branches across all realms shook, the more and more white fog appeared and covered every living being in those worlds. Waves created by Sage Emperor's words, small parts of it dropped in places, wiping white mist at catastrophic levels. The white fog covering the continents, covering seas, islands, sects were wiped out again and again.

Cocytus's branches shook, cracks appeared in them, one fell in a world, buried in the ground, reaching the sky.

A drop of blood dripped from Miyuki's lips, her armor was cracked, Yu Yan was breathing loudly, covered by the fog. Although she was safe, the Six General were dead. A large amount of mist and fog was covering Tatsuya and protecting him.

Miyuki glared at Sage Emperor, even he must have used quite a bit of energy. She had time... she needed to do something. In someways, find a way to bind her for a little longer.

He raised his hand, keeping it beneath the pages, dragging it to the front and pointing towards Tatsuya, "Space-Time Destruction!"

A golden ball of light started forming at the center of the three pages.

*Crackle*Crackle*

The golden ball vibrated, creating thunder-like energy around it. The intensity of the attack was on a different level altogether.

"You are not touching him!!!!" Miyuki flew up to stand between the energy and Tatsuya.

"Zone Interference!!" A domain appeared surrounding her; the golden beam shot from the three pages creating cracks in the domain surrounding Miyuki.

Seeing the breakage, Miyuki took out a page from Temporal Demon Spirit Book. She put her hand on the page, "Space-Time Zone Interference!"

Golden lights appeared in the cracks, reforming it. The domain became stronger, being able to hold against the beam. But, the ripple caused by their clash caused things to go haywire.

On the broken land that was left in the Ancestral Demonic Saint Land, in some places, it decayed; somewhere, it grew.

Yu Yan used the golden fire to barely protect herself, but she could feel her life passing with one ripple. With the other, her body and soul became young.

Without the golden fire, she would have been erased.

She stared at Tatsuya's inside the blue data sphere that was still pouring into his body. Without being affecting by what was happening outside.

It seemed at this moment, even Space and Time couldn't interfere with him. It made her wonder if Miyuki let go, then could Sage Emperor even touch him. But, she knew Miyuki would never take that risk.

Inside,

Tatsuya had his eyes closed; the boundless void had disappeared. It was broken, slowly consumed. With its disappearance, Tatsuya's inner world that had been hidden by the boundless void appeared.

Opening his eyes, Tatsuya stared at the greyone, restored to his human form, "And so... we reach the end."
