Rex woke up gasping for air. His face was red, he was holding his neck. Panting like he has not breathed for hours. Standing off drinking water. "I must do something. " he said, " a cold shower will wake me up"

AI Alice was preparing his breakfast: eggs, vegetable sausage, and congee with a cup of matcha tea. He took a quick shower and immediately devoured his food. The nightmares deprived him of his energy.

"Alice, I want to surpass my nightmares. Help me find a way for it, it is driving me crazy. I know I don't wish to linger more in life, but I won't stay weak either, won't give up as I did before." Crossing his arms.

"I am searching and calculating for a method. I saw a scientific test, in which the participants dreamt of their nightmares and were face forced to overcome them. Many psychiatrists use this method of treating phobias." She spoke with the semi-robotic voice of his wife.

"Was it successful?" he asked with hope in his eyes and tone.

"Yes, 90% master with help of pills too, the participants got cured of their phobias. The process's duration depends on your progress."

"Then I will endure it." Drinking his tea with pleasure, "I must face my demons, whatever the costs."

"I will do my best, master."

"Alice, in case anything happens to me, secure yourself first, then proceed with the revenge plan and find the new protégé. Help him/her bring an end to those who fill the world of sins, those who steal from the poor, those who deprive the weak of their rights, and who cause injustice. Bring peace and order. That is my order and will for you."

"Noted my master"

"Alice, may I have a glance at the evidence you have obtained from Mary's household? I am aware of her wicked deeds, but I am curious to learn some of the tails."

"She, after the university incident 20 years ago, had given birth to a son. From James William, but they both abandoned him on the streets. For a couple of years, he would have stayed with the nurse, whom she had helped give birth to him in the illegal abortion house. Then later was sent to a couple for adoption. I wasn't able to obtain any intel more about it."

He hummed, crossing his arms. Some things are still shrouded, none the less that won't affect the plan.

"When we will depart? " He asked.

" Tonight, 10 pm. The flight will take you 13 hours flying. I have prepared your projects for freelancing jobs I found for you before, and you got their contracts, too. The deadline to submit them is within a week."

"What projects are they?" he asked

"Scientific reports writing and one-course preparation for a schoolteacher on mathematics for grade 9. You can finish them all while riding the flight."

"Alright then. I will start with one right now, then." He nodded.

"I will send them to your tab."

Meanwhile, at Mary's house:

"Mom, must you go alone? I want to go with you. Please!" her 6 years old son Angel threw a tantrum, he threw his toys. "You promised you won't go!" he cried.

"I will take you with me on the next trip, okay? That was the promise, Angel. The time would be when you can feed and play with dolphins on the island, remember? " She walked over and knelt down, wiping his tear. Kissing his head "Next month is the suitable time where they come to the island, honey, not this month. Sea mammals migrate throughout the year, they settle down for rest in a few places and Tahiti is one of these places, dear."

She hugged him and embraced him on her lap, "when did mommy promise you and lied about it? You said you wanted a VR, didn't mommy buy it for you? Disneyland, didn't we go there as promised?"

She broke the hug and stood up. "We love you Angel, but we need to work so we all can go travel, eat what you want, get all of your dreams to come true sweety. as for now, mommy has an important job, not a vacation."

"So, you won't be late? When you will return?" He asked.

"I will stay there for 3 days, okay? You need to promise me to be a good boy while I am gone. Behave well, child, promise?"

He nodded with a sad face, "Promise I will behave, mommy."

"Good, now, what would you like to eat for lunch and dinner before mommy goes?"

His face lightened up a bit. "Can I ask for pizza, a hamburger? Oh, with fries and cola."

"And dessert too, right?" she crossed her arms, grinning at him.

"Yes, mommy, strawberry pie with chocolate ice cream."

He looked at her with puppy eyes, "please."

Mary nodded in approval of her son's wish for the meals. "Alright, then, but you need to stay on your promise. Deal?"

He gave her a serious face with a serious tone. "yes, mommy, I will. I promised you."

She chuckled and hugged him. "what a good boy. An angel I am blessed to have. I am proud of you. I will be prouder when I return, as if you break the promise. No dolphins for you. Instead, I will punish you. Know very well how my punishment is."

She gave him her glare at the punishment part, looking at her with a terrified face. Angel gulped in fear, remembering her punishments in the past. He shook his in approval to no misbehaving.

"Let us go then to the restaurant and eat?" hold his hand and asked him. He answered "Burger"

She nodded with a smile. "Let us go then, eh?"

Little does Mary or Rex know at an unknown place, "I will make her pay, that whore!" the mysterious man, shrouded in darkness, fired and empty his gun on a picture of Mary.

Then hiding his gun in his bag, lifted up his bag from the sofa. He pressed the garage button, opening it up. Outside was dark and foggy.

Another man walked over. "Bro, here, take this." The second guy gave a round device. "Dan, say this device will hide your gun. Be careful, you sure did not forget your document and passport?"

"Yes, they are in my bag. See all of them. Don't worry, I won't die before finishing them off. Mary White. James William. I will kill you."
